Kiana showed up first thing in the morning, dragging Lu Ze along to demand an explanation. After being exploited for so long, she felt she was at least owed some justice, right?
"Open the door, open the door! Auntie, I need to talk to you!"
Hearing the boisterous voice, Theresa inside knew it had to be that Kiana again, calling her "Auntie." Hadn't she told her multiple times? To call her Principal, not Auntie!
Opening the door with a touch of annoyance, she saw Lu Ze with Kiana, and her mind went blank. Why was he here too? Judging by their demeanor, could they know about her and Lu Ze?
She asked, slightly bewildered:
"What brings you two here so early in the morning? And Kiana, how many times have I told you? You should call me Principal, not Auntie! Why don't you ever listen?"
But the current Kiana paid no mind to that. She directly pulled Lu Ze behind her and walked into the room.
"Alright, I'll call you Principal. Then, our dear Principal, do you owe me an explanation? Forcing my Lu Ze to handle your paperwork every day, huh... Is this what a Principal does? It's quite something."
For Lu Ze's sake, Kiana was determined. She didn't care if the person in front of her was her aunt or the Principal; she had to speak her mind.
"Hmm? Lu Ze! You didn't blab, did you?"
Theresa turned her head, her eyes fixed on Lu Ze, then moved to his head, scrutinizing him with a very serious expression.
"Uh... If I hadn't said anything last night, I might not have seen today's moon."
Listening to his explanation, Theresa crossed her arms over her non-existent chest, thought for a moment, and then said:
"How many people know?"
Lu Ze pointed at Kiana, indicating only she knew.
"Oh, that makes things easier. Kiana, you wanted an explanation, right? Here's my explanation: stay out of Lu Ze's and my business, and that's it... I won't bother you about climbing over the school wall."
Hearing that she wouldn't be punished for sneaking out of school, Kiana's eyes lit up. But then she glanced at Lu Ze beside her and thought about the snacks outside. Sigh... She was torn, unsure which to choose.
After a few minutes of internal debate, Kiana decisively abandoned Lu Ze. She couldn't give up a whole forest for one tree. Snacks outside, here I come!
It truly was the gluttonous Kiana. She'd do anything for food.
"Okay, deal struck, pleasant cooperation! You really are my dear Auntie, hahaha!"
Lu Ze, who had held onto a sliver of hope, felt his soul about to depart his body seeing this. It was over; his life was probably going to get even harder.
As Kiana skipped gleefully out of the Principal's office, Theresa chuckled, kicked off her shoes, and planted one foot on Lu Ze's stomach, a devilish grin spreading across her face.
"Didn't I say before that you couldn't reveal what happened between us? How do you think I should punish you?"
Feeling the warmth on his stomach, Lu Ze tried hard to suck it in, but it only made him more uncomfortable, and there was even a strange odor... Sigh, spare me! This Theresa is a demon.
"Speak up. If you don't say anything, then I'll punish you by making sure you can't go anywhere today. You'll just stay here in this office and handle paperwork! Understand?"
As she spoke, she pressed down harder. Feeling a slight pain in his stomach, Lu Ze could only agree resignedly. What else could he do when he was under someone else's roof?
"Go on. Kneel for an hour first. If you dare to get up, you're finished!"
Theresa took out Judah's Oath and placed it beside him. If he dared to move, Judah's Oath would lash out with its chains, not requiring her to exert any effort.
"Why here?"
Despite his regret, there was nothing he could do. The feeling was eerily similar to when he was a child and got caught playing games instead of doing his homework.
Being made to kneel while being whipped and forced to finish his homework – that was a truly terrible experience!
But he had no choice, only to keep finishing his homework, hoping to escape this torment as soon as possible.
After an unknown amount of time, Lu Ze finally finished the thick stack of documents. He shook his sore arms and shakily stood up from the ground, his legs almost buckling beneath him.
He had knelt for so long that his legs felt weak. Theresa, however, very carefully helped Lu Ze, acting as if she were a completely different person from the Theresa before, like two separate personalities.
If she hadn't been so angry, she wouldn't have split into two personalities, would she?
"Do you know you were wrong? Will you dare to do it again? If there's a next time, it won't just be this! I'll help you to the sofa."
She helped Lu Ze onto the sofa, letting his legs rest on the right side. She used her small hands to knead his calves with great force. The massage was so comfortable that he almost groaned.
"I haven't studied this, but I've massaged my grandfather's legs before, so I have some basic knowledge. Just close your eyes and enjoy it. After enjoying it, rest for five minutes and then get back to the rest of the paperwork."
Her small hands moved up and down his thighs, relaxing his muscles. Theresa's gaze fell upon something, causing her face to flush slightly, but she ignored it.
This feeling was like when you finished your homework, and your parents stopped hitting you or making you kneel, silently applying liniment to your wounds, covering all the sore spots. Although it was still a form of torment, it hurt quite a bit.
This sense of déjà vu left Lu Ze a bit dazed, but he quickly came back to his senses when Theresa stopped massaging.
"Alright, I'm going to make lunch for you. You go handle the rest of the paperwork."
Lu Ze, feeling a sense of unfinished satisfaction, unconsciously reached out and petted Theresa's head. By the time he realized what he had done, it was too late. He was used to patting Kiana's head, so it was a subconscious action...
But he didn't get hit by chains as he expected. Lu Ze opened his eyes in surprise and saw a blushing Theresa. She stammered:
"Just... just this once. Next time you dare to touch me... I... I'll break your hand."
Was this really the Theresa he knew? Was she sure she wasn't someone else? Where was the Theresa he remembered? But he had to admit, the sensation was quite nice.
