Chapter 143: World Destroyer
"It also helps to power up our tech... That’s all it can do," Jolie finally answered.
"Oh? Can your son do that, too? I mean, power up your tech?" Jinx asked, her curiosity piqued.
"I only have 30% of the artifact’s powers, so I can’t do that," Frederick said, a hint of frustration in his voice.
"But you have used the artifact, right?" Jinx pressed, her gaze fixed on him.
The three of them exchanged silent glances.
"Come on, you wouldn’t have an artifact like that and not use it," Jinx said with a frown.
Jolie exhaled and rose from her throne:
"Come with me," she said, walking past Jinx toward the door.
"O...Kay." Jinx drew out the word, then followed behind her, with Jade and Frederick right on her heels.

After taking countless turns through the winding corridors of the castle, they finally arrived at a huge, metal warehouse.
"I trust you, Hayley... That’s why I’m showing you this," Jolie said, placing her finger on the fingerprint scanner. The massive door automatically slid open.
The group of four stepped inside, and the door sealed shut behind them.
CLICK!
All the lights came on, revealing a colossal ship. It was twice the size of a Starship, and its front was shaped like a massive drill.
"Is this...?" Jinx began, her eyes wide with surprise.
"Yes... This is called the World Destroyer," Frederick said, stepping forward with a proud smile. "This baby here is our secret weapon."
He gestured toward the ship. "This vessel has been powered by the artifact, which has made it even more powerful. The best part is... only those who have a connection to the artifact can control it, which is... me."
"What if the God Wolf has used it?" Jinx asked, a frown on her face.
"The artifact is special. No one can just simply use it," Jade interjected.
"Besides, he doesn’t have the tools for tapping its powers."
"The God Wolf has shocked us countless times, from his insane wealth to the mercenaries he commands," Jinx said, her gaze moving over the ship.
"I’m just saying. Your thousands of battleships in space were destroyed by an EMP. Won’t that work on this ship?"
"You don’t get it... This baby is completely immune to all physical attacks and EMPs," Frederick replied, a proud expression on his face.
"Nothing can stand in its way."
"Wow... This must have taken a huge amount of resources," Jinx said with genuine surprise.
’Such a powerful ship... If he can control it, maybe Star can as well... No matter what happens, we must have it. If we can’t, we must destroy it.’ she thought to herself.
"Now you know everything, how do you suggest we deal with the Beastify Nat--"
"Wait, Jade," Jolie cut her off, turning to Jinx.
"Why are you after the Beastify nation? And who are you, really?" she asked.
Jinx was still in her old elf disguise, which prompted Jolie’s question.
"The God Wolf took my sister. I want her back," Jinx said coldly. Her body began to shimmer and shift, and in an instant, a woman with dragon horns and fiery red hair appeared before them.
"This is my real appearance," she stated.
’A dragoness... That’s why she could get information about my mansion in the Dragon Nation... But are the dragons behind this? Did they send her?’ Jolie thought, her mind racing.
"Before you get any ideas, I work alone," Jinx said, taking a step and stopping in front of Jolie.
"I’m a half-dragon, so I don’t have the ability to fly. I don’t care about that, though; I just want my sister back. Give me my sister, and I will work for you permanently."
’Wait... All half-dragons can fly... Maybe, just maybe, her flying ability was taken, and she gained the shifter ability? Forget it. Having an ally like this will increase my military strength... And one day, she might become my next general.’ Jolie thought, offering her hand to Jinx.
"It’s a deal then. I’ll get you your sister, and you join me as my subordinate," she said, looking Jinx in the eye.
"Done!" Jinx took her hand and shook it firmly. "Deal."
Jolie smiled, then repeated Jade’s earlier question. "Do you have a plan for taking out the God Wolf?"
Jinx thought for a few seconds, then snapped her fingers.
"I’ve got it... The God Wolf is out, so we’ll ambush him on his way returning, and take him hostage. With him in our hands, Josephine, the commanders, and the mercenaries will simply fall into our hands," she said, adding:
"When I was inside, I got the coordinates of his ship, and my sister is with him, same with your artifact. You get the God Wolf, and artifact; while I get back my sister."
"What are you saying? The God Wolf is a Celestial-rank warrior. We can’t ambush him," Jade said, her voice filled with shock.
"That’s where I come in," Jinx said with a smirk.
"What can you do?" Frederick asked, confused.
Jinx raised her hand and snapped her fingers. Instantly, a wave of air burst out from her, hitting the three people in the room and instantly locking their stats.
"This?!"

The three of them turned pale.
"I can seal anyone’s stats. The duration is determined by their rank gap with mine," she explained:
"I’m not strong enough to seal yours for more than five minutes, but I can seal theirs for ten minutes. Once I seal your stats, you will become a normal human. You’ll have the stats of a regular person," she said, turning to Jade.
"I believe you can knock him out within that five-minute duration."
Jade considered her words for a few seconds and then nodded slowly.
’Does such a forbidden skill exist? She just sealed three of our stats with a snap of her fingers... Does it consume Celestial energy? Was that why she didn’t use it on planet Zax?’ Jade thought.
"Can you undo it? Or do we have to wait for five minutes?" Jolie asked, a pleasant smile on her face, as She checked Jade’s stats with her cosmic brain, seeing that they were all locked, leaving only 10 to 50 points.
"I don’t know how to undo it," Jinx said with a shrug.
"Okay... How many people can you use it on?" Jolie asked, turning to face Jinx once more.
"At the moment, I can use it on 50 people."
"....?!"
Jolie was flabbergasted.
