Chapter 181 The Ring Toss

Su Fan's attributes now surpassed the limits of the human body. His eyesight, hearing, and control over his body had reached their peak. Ring toss was all about control; if you could accurately throw the ring to your desired position, you were halfway to success.

The other half depended on luck.

But Su Fan was no ordinary person; he didn't need luck.

Su Fan threw a ring. It landed on the bucket in front of the doll again but bounced off.

Immediately after, another ring appeared and struck the bouncing ring, knocking it down perfectly onto the bucket.

The stall owner was stunned. Was his luck really that good? The second ring had knocked the first one back? Was that even possible?

"I got one," Su Fan said calmly to the owner.

"Yay!" Su Yutong, standing beside him, jumped up excitedly.

The owner's expression soured, but considering Su Fan and his sister had already spent two hundred yuan, he didn't say anything. He would still make some profit.

"Boss, quickly get me the doll!" Su Yutong excitedly said to the owner.

The owner reluctantly fetched the doll and handed it to Su Yutong.

Meanwhile, Su Fan still had a pile of rings in his hand. He glanced at the few remaining dolls in the back.

Today, he would make the owner pack up early.

Su Fan threw two more rings in quick succession. The back ring struck the front ring, and the front ring landed steadily on the bucket.

The owner froze at this sight.

A bad feeling began to creep into his heart.

Before the owner could say anything, Su Fan continued to throw rings one after another, all of them landing perfectly on the buckets in front of the dolls.

"Holy crap!" This time, the first exclamation came from the surrounding spectators. Su Fan's performance had blinded them. Was this even human?

The crowd couldn't believe their eyes. This wasn't something that could be achieved by luck alone. One time might be luck, but twice? Three times? This was undeniable skill.

"No more tossing!" The ring toss owner suddenly tried to renege, realizing he'd lose too much if he gave away so many dolls!

"Fine, no more. Give us the prizes, and give me back my rings," Su Fan said, unconcerned. As long as he got the prizes he'd won, he wouldn't have worked for nothing.

"What prizes? Those don't count! I'll give you your money back," the owner was clearly planning to cheat, refusing to let Su Fan take the dolls.

Su Fan's expression turned cold. Business without integrity was meaningless.

Moreover, Su Fan had been giving him face. When the owner said to stop, Su Fan had intended to do so. But he expected to receive what he had already won. The owner trying to renege on those as well was unacceptable.

"That's not right! Why aren't you giving him what he won?" the surrounding spectators began to scold the owner. They couldn't stand his behavior.

The owner's face darkened. If he wanted to continue his business here, he couldn't afford to offend the locals. This was his hard-earned experience from years of working the streets.

"Fine! Take them!" the owner gritted out. With so many people watching, it was difficult to cheat. If the situation escalated, his business would be ruined.

"No need. Just exchange them all for rings," Su Fan suddenly changed his mind, no longer wanting the prizes but asking the owner to exchange them for rings instead.

"Huh?" The owner was confused, not understanding Su Fan's intention.

"Su Fan," Su Yutong quietly tugged at Su Fan's clothes, signaling him not to be impulsive. She wanted so many of those dolls.

"With so many dolls, how would we carry them back? Keeping one is enough," Su Fan said to Su Yutong.

Su Yutong thought about it and felt Su Fan was right. They couldn't possibly carry so many dolls.

"No! You can't toss anymore!" The owner wasn't a fool. Su Fan was clearly an expert. If he exchanged so many rings for him, wouldn't he win everything on the stall?

"I won't toss. Let her try, alright?" Su Fan shook his head and pointed at Su Yutong.

"Huh?" Su Yutong was bewildered again. She had already seen her own lack of skill earlier. If Su Fan let her play, she would surely lose all their money.

The owner's eyes lit up. He had seen this young girl's skill earlier. Letting her play would be fine.

"Deal!" The owner readily agreed.

"Su Fan, I can't do it," Su Yutong said to him.

"It's okay, just treat it as playing. As long as you're happy," Su Fan said to Su Yutong with a smile.

Su Yutong blinked, surprised to hear such words from this seemingly stoic man.

"Okay," Su Yutong nodded shyly.

"Wear this." Su Fan took out a pendant and personally placed it around Su Yutong's neck.

"Is this a gift from you?" Su Yutong asked happily, looking at the green stone pendant on her neck.

Su Fan nodded.

"Do you feel your strength has increased?" Su Yutong felt herself carefully.

"I do feel a bit different. What is it?"

"Nothing. This pendant can improve your physique. Stay put. And this bracelet too." Su Fan then put a bracelet on Su Yutong.

Both items were equipment Su Fan had brought from the game. Their attributes were passive, requiring no active control from Su Yutong. They would protect her and enhance her physique.

By this time, the owner had brought over their rings, a whole large box.

"Wow! So many!" Su Yutong exclaimed. So many rings, how long would it take her to use them all?

"Go ahead and toss. Throw five or six at a time, or three or four. Once we're done, we'll leave. Aim carefully," Su Fan instructed Su Yutong.

"Okay," Su Yutong nodded obediently and began tossing the rings.

Su Yutong grabbed a handful of rings and threw them towards the dolls in the back.

All the rings hit the buckets but didn't land inside.

However, Su Yutong felt much more comfortable this time. It was as if the rings went exactly where she intended them to.

Su Yutong tried again. She still didn't succeed, but she didn't get discouraged. Instead, she felt more in control.

Su Fan watched from the side. Although the enhanced Su Yutong was still far from his level, tossing rings was not a problem for her. She just needed a bit of luck. With so many rings, she was bound to get a few by chance.

When Su Yutong tried for the fourth time, one ring finally landed in the bucket.

"Yay! I got one!" Su Yutong jumped up with joy. This was even more exciting than when Su Fan had won. This was her own success.

The owner on the side was dumbfounded. Were these two here to play a trick on him? No! It must be luck. It was impossible for everyone to be this skilled!

The owner refused to believe it, but the subsequent performance made him widen his eyes. Su Yutong threw the rings one by one, and her hit rate was an astonishing sixty percent!

Once the dolls were gone, she moved on to other items. In no time, there was hardly anything left on his stall.

"Boss, you're out of items. Can you put some more out?" Su Yutong asked the owner innocently.

The owner's heart was bleeding. Hearing Su Yutong's words felt like a knife twisting in his chest.
