"How is it? Any leads? I'm not very good at solving puzzles, so I'll have to leave it to you."
Xiao turned to look at Lu Ze. It would have been too difficult to ask him to solve the puzzle.
"This looks quite simple. See that circular hole that looks like ripples on water? Pass through that, and you can go to other platforms. Then, shoot the light beams in the corresponding directions, and it will naturally be solved. It's quite troublesome, though. I really don't know what the designer was thinking at the time."
Lu Ze muttered to himself, "Who designed this puzzle? Other than the staff from Mihoyo, who else could it be? Honestly, when I played this level, I was so dizzy, I really had a screw loose."
"Actually, we could just fly in the air and solve this puzzle."
Right, there are two people here who can fly. They could completely solve this in the air. Although it might be even more dizzying, there's no other choice if they want to get out.
They just had to solve this puzzle.
Lu Ze and Nahida cooperated, and soon adjusted the colored light beams to the appropriate positions.
On one platform, a section of the road caved in, revealing a staircase leading underground. The group looked at each other and then, through the blue, ripple-like void, they arrived at this platform.
"I'll go first, I'll lead the way."
Xiao was still very proactive and quickly jumped down. Lu Ze and Nahida could only follow him with helplessness.
Meanwhile, Dainsleif, panting, looked at the person before him. For some reason, this domain suppressed his strength, putting him on the same level as his opponent. One was the Abyss Herald, and the other was an adeptus Yaksha. They had fought in no less than a thousand battles. Without a disparity in strength, it was naturally a fierce and evenly matched fight.
"I told you, this is not a place you should be. Retreat obediently, and you'll have a slim chance of survival."
Mihuru, wearing a mask, stood elegantly in place. His clothes remained undisturbed by the fight, and the fan in his hand seemed to be his sharpest weapon.
"I also told you, you can't stop me. I'm very interested in what's behind here, and you alone cannot stop me."
A wisp of dark energy flashed in Dainsleif's hand, and his sword seemed to be imbued with an attribute, becoming exceptionally sharp.
"You really don't listen to advice. Then, I'll play with you a little longer."
In an instant, a massive rock fell. But how could there be only one? Then came the second, then the third. As they fell one by one, the area they could move in became smaller and smaller.
Mihuru moved rapidly across the floating rocks, his speed so great that afterimages appeared. Dainsleif frowned slightly, then leaped high, landing on a rock as well.
They fought dozens of rounds in the air, still without a clear victor. Mihuru maintained his elegant demeanor, his mask not even showing a speck of dust.
Dainsleif felt a sense of helplessness. It seemed he could only win by speed.
He held his sword horizontally and swiftly unleashed twenty to thirty slashes, shattering all the floating rocks. Mihuru was forced to move back and forth on one narrow rock after another.
Dainsleif was also in the same situation.
However, even on such a confined space, Mihuru calmly waved his fan. Yellow crystals flew out, directly shattering all the movable rocks in the air.
This left Dainsleif with no room to maneuver. Then, several crystals shot towards him, and even the last rock beneath Dainsleif's feet disappeared.
He plummeted rapidly due to the loss of balance, crashing into the ground and creating a large cloud of dust. Mihuru smiled slightly. "Is that all? I didn't expect to win so easily."
With a light leap, Mihuru landed on the ground. He waved his fan, and the dust dissipated. However, Dainsleif's shadow was nowhere to be seen on the ground.
As if realizing something, Mihuru quickly turned around and saw Dainsleif appearing behind him at some unknown point. His sword thrust out fiercely, piercing straight through his body.
"I didn't expect this… I was careless… In the end, I underestimated you. However, it's unlikely you'll be able to pass. Besides me, there are others guarding this place. Are you absolutely sure you can defeat them?"
Mihuru smiled faintly, then transformed into scattered starlight and vanished. The distant gate also changed from red to blue.
"Let me see what lies beyond this door."
As Dainsleif walked through the gate, he found himself on a long, narrow rock. Other than that, there was no other path.
At the end of the rock, there was another door. As he approached, the red doorframe turned blue.
He gently pushed the right door open. What appeared before him was identical to the previous location. The only differences were the time and some subtle changes, but that wasn't important.
What was important was the person standing before him.
A color scheme of deep blue and light blue, both hands equipped with long claws, and a blue mask covering his face, just like the previous person. This was another adeptus Yaksha.
"Who are you? Why have you come here? Did you defeat Brother Mihuru?"
Beneath the mask, a clear face showed a hint of ruthlessness. She looked at Dainsleif with cold eyes, thinking it was foolish for him to harm Brother Mihuru.
"So what if I did? Since I could defeat him, I can defeat you as well. But… why are you here? Have the adeptus Yakshas been reduced to guarding for others?"
He quietly looked at Fane, as each guardian of these trials was a Liyue adeptus. He was genuinely curious about what lay at the very end.
Could it be some god? Or perhaps a Archon? Otherwise, why would they have the adepti guarding it?
"I cannot answer that question. However, if you wish to proceed, you must defeat me. Come! Let me see what your strength is truly like! You defeated Brother Mihuru, so you must give me a good fight!"
The large claws in her hands suddenly grew longer. Unlike Mihuru's elegant demeanor, her fighting style was more wild.
Seeing Fane rush towards him rapidly, Dainsleif felt a surge of exhaustion. The previous battle had depleted most of his stamina. It seemed he would need to rest on the spot after this fight.
"Then let me show you my strength!"
His sword directly blocked the attack of the blue claws. The sharp claws scraped against the sword, creating sparks that flashed and shimmered. Would either of them be burned if one of the sparks landed on them?
