Marshack's warning surprises N'Ïrk and Nouy'Zula. But for different motives.
The melancholic young man's aura is too firm and dense to be a lie or a random comment impulsed by the heat of the moment.
On the contrary, the over stoic demeanor implies that Bverxkka is predicting the future with pinpoint accuracy, sending a chilling shiver through Nouy'Zula's spine.
The damsel has understood that if she rejects N'Ïrk. Marshack will execute her.
Which is a misconception from her part.
Nevertheless, the Crown Princess of the Åwllöûön has acquired a severe weariness towards Marshack.
The young man is too dangerous, not only he is an Absolute Sovereign, he acknowledged himself as the Absolute Apex of his species, The Hûrngöth, which would had been a ludicrous statement, if it weren't for the high and unreachable Fortitudes Marshack possess.
*Sigh*. "Student Bverxkka". Calls out the Coordinator Lycaonia with a silver of exasperation. "Don't cause problems neither".
"You said i shouldn't be idle. Hence. Do i have to intervene?. Or not?. Please decide Coordinator Lycaonia".
Although Marshack is calm and stoic, his voice depicts a lingering annoyance that is easy to spot for N'Ïrk's and Nouy'Zula's Synesthesia.
{Wow. And i thought that i had trouble relating and interacting with others. *Hahaha*. It's good to know that there is always someone better, or worse in this case}
"Do as you please. But prevent deaths as much as possible".
"I understand". Replies Marshack, releasing Nouy'Zula and regroup with his Triquetra.
N'Ïrk and the Crown Princess do the same, leading their teammates to move forward.
While the Platoon goes together, lies a considerable dissonance between the three Triquetras.
Their formation is a mess, and it couldn't be otherwise.
N'Ïrk is a Tyrant, not a leader per se. What makes her prioritize functionality and reactivity rather than the stiff and enclosed view of most strategists and Military Commanders.
Marshack doesn't want to order everyone around. He is an Absolute Sovereign without the burden to oversee the necessities of his population. This freedom, is an ecstatic experience for the melancholic young man, as he didn't knew this was a possibility, and now, least outcome he desires, is to step up and realign the global functionality, Because this newfound liberty, is his most valuable and cherished treasure.
In opposite approach to the males leading the Triquetras. Nouy'Zula is a Crown Princess, actively competing to prove her worth and eventually ascent her status to become a «Queen», then an «Empress», «Venerable Monarch», «Rulling Overlord» and finally an «Absolute Sovereign».
A far-fetched goal, and one that couldn't be attainable, if she can't have control over less than a dozen of people.
The three Triquetras walk for a minute or so, reaching, and crossing the red perimeter.
The sensation of piercing through it is identical to bypass an Emeneld without destroying it, a difficult task that not many con achieve, which is why N'Ïrk got puzzled about the event, when he passed through Gagk'Xannia's Emeneld during their first and only night together.
Further ahead, is easy to spot the yellow perimeter. Strangely. It has the same hue of Indayra's Yellow Glint.
Fortunately for the Platoon, their destination isn't that far away. The vortex of the Zone is near, just 400 meters ahead.
The nerves in the rookie Freshmen intensifies in an equivalent way to the reduced distance that separates the Platoon from the Zone's entrance.
And it couldn't be otherwise. The vortex is larger than what even N'Ïrk has observed during his days in the Outposts.
The usual size of the energetic whirlwind is a diameter of 3 to 6 meters. The Zone in front of the Platoon measures a staggering 9 meters, of radius, for a total of 18 meters.
"Coach?". Murmurs Evennette, her fear and hesitation wavering while facing the massive vortex. Way larger than what her Coordinator taught to them during her morning lessons.
"You have nothing to fear My Platinum Star. Think of this, as one of those AVRs (Augmented Virtual Reality) Games that you and Parmella talked so much about".
The mention of the deceased Parmella, affects Evennette. But it's only a fleeting mishap, she chose to put all her trust in N'Ïrk, following his every word without question him.
‡{I am not entering in a dangerous unknown place. It is an Hyper Realistic Stimulation, with a DLC in which i can die… . But this time, it is not like my Tournaments. In them, i had to achieve victory on my own. Now. I am not alone…}‡.
Resolutely, Evennette grips the Pistol's handle, drawing it with confidence.
Her attitude is similar to the concentration she displays when playing a video game, but the hold she shows with the weapon, is worthy of a professional soldier.
And no wonder why. As the caring Aunt of Evennette's friend, regularly took the two young ladies to a shooting range. A healthy way to relieve everyone's stress, by emptying a magazine of bullets into a stationary target, instead of shooting down one of their former classmates.
"That's the attitude My Platinum Star". Says N'Ïrk with a sultry whisper, nibbling the soft earlobe of the Caramel Bimbo. "If you do good. I'll give you a better reward. Not counting your pending prize".
As enticing as N'Ïrk's promising words are, they fail to shake Evennette's dedicated concentration.
{Amazing!. Too bad we don't have a rifle or a carbine for Evennette. I am sure that My Platinum Star would be more comfortable with one of those weapons}
{*Sigh*. I could have a few of the Rätten's Carabines. Well.It doesn't matter anymore. But this is a good reminder to not leave any equipment behind unless is absolutely necessary}
Looking to his right, N'Ïrk ovserves intently at Nouy'Zula, nodding to signal the readiness of his Triquetra.
She responds in kind, turning to Marshack, who nods absentmindedly without caring to sight in the damsel's direction, displeasing the Crown Princess. But she ignores her upsetness in favor to give the fateful order.
"Advance!. Charge forward into the Zone!. We will scourge our enemies and prevail in these times of adversity!. There is nothing we cannot overcome!. One step at a time, and any mountain, no matter how high, will end beneath our feet!"…
