Chapter 159 Still Youth!?

Qi's mother directly sneered, "What does this have to do with me? Haven't you been the one educating him all along? You told me not to interfere with our son, didn't you? And now you're blaming me. You're truly laughable."

Usually, whenever their son had any issues and she wanted to discipline him, this old fogey would always stop her. He'd say she couldn't discipline him properly, that doting mothers spoil their children. Now that the son had angered him, he felt it was his own fault for not disciplining him properly. What a joke!

Saying this, the woman stood up, removed the face mask, and walked towards the bathroom.

Qi's father was speechless with anger but still gritted his teeth and said, "Do you know what he just said?!"

"All I can hear is you yelling," the woman replied casually. Honestly, she had been playing on her phone, and the father and son often argued like this, so she hadn't listened carefully.

"He said he won't marry Aimie and told me to stop meddling in this matter."

The woman stood in front of the mirror, glanced at her recently masked, supple skin, and said dismissively, "Our son has said this more than once. You keep emphasizing and forcing him to get married, and then you complain when he talks back to you. I think you deserve it. Our son has his own opinions; why do you always push him like this? It's not like the daughter-in-law you fancy is necessarily a good daughter-in-law."

"You, you you you you... it's precisely because you spoil him that he's so defiant towards me!" Qi's father's face grew increasingly unpleasant.

"What does this have to do with me? I never interfere or say anything. You don't want me to say anything, yet you blame me. You old fogey, are you asking for a beating?"

Qi's father was too annoyed to argue with his wife about this matter. He ran a hand through his hair agitatedly and said in a deep voice, "He said he found his previous fiancée."

In the bathroom, the gushing sound of the faucet abruptly stopped.

The next moment, the woman, still with water droplets on her face, rushed out, looking at the man sitting on the bed with annoyance, "What did you say? Say it again!"

Qi's father frowned and didn't speak, because he knew the woman had heard him clearly but was repeating the question out of shock.

"How is that possible?" Qi's mother's surprise had not faded. She looked at the man in front of her again and asked, baffled, "He found her? Who is that girl?"

Qi's mother's eyes clearly held some expectation, and she had already walked to Qi's father's side.

Qi's father replied somewhat dejectedly, "How would I know!"

"You've been talking for so long and you don't know?" Qi's mother looked disgusted. "You were on the phone for a long time just now."

"How long? He wouldn't let me ask anything, told me not to meddle in anything, and just said I'll know later. What the heck am I supposed to know!" Qi's father became increasingly frustrated, his expression extremely gloomy. The next moment, he stood up abruptly, "No, I have to go find him now and get a clear answer!"

"I'll go with you!" Qi's mother couldn't bother with niceties anymore. She wiped her face casually, "Wait for me, I'll apply some skincare and change my clothes, then I'll head out with you immediately."

This matter was no small affair. If his former fiancée knew, then they had to face it. Even if she, as a mother, allowed her son to be independent, she still needed to know the full story.

Qi's father, who had no patience to wait, but considering Qi Mo's impatience with him, and that it was his mother who could manage him, hesitated. Then Qi's father impatiently said, "Hurry up."

With that, he started walking downstairs.

"Coming right up!" Qi's mother quickly wiped her face, ensuring it wouldn't be dry before going downstairs to change clothes and following Qi's father out in a hurry.

Half an hour later, the two arrived at Qi Mo's place.

When Qi Mo had proposed moving out, his parents, though reluctant, felt he was old enough to move out and didn't stop him. However, they stipulated that the place he moved to couldn't be too far from them, no more than a thirty-minute drive.

Qi Mo had chosen a place that was about thirty minutes away.

The elderly couple was fast, as they had already recorded the fingerprint for the place and entered directly. Upon reaching the living room, he didn't bother with anything else and called Qi Mo.

However, after just two rings, the call was hung up.

Qi's father's face darkened further, and he roared, "You brat! Your old man is downstairs at your place, get down here now!"

"Are you trying to die! Can't you keep your voice down!" Qi's mother raised her hands to cover her ears, looking at her husband with disdain.

His voice was naturally loud, and now when he yelled, it was deafening.

Qi's father, with a dark expression, ground his teeth and said, "If he hadn't hung up my call, would I be like this! How could I have a son so troublesome!"

"You're talking nonsense! Our son has never given me much trouble since he was little. He's independent and excellent, handsome, in great shape, and a top talent in every aspect. How is it that in your mouth, he's become troublesome!! Are you spewing lies with your eyes wide open!!"

Qi's father was so exasperated that he pulled his aged face, raised a hand, and pointed his trembling finger at Qi's mother's face, "You you you...!! It's you who spoils him!!!"

Qi's mother sneered, walked to the sofa, and sat down, completely ignoring him.

The old fogey's voice had been very loud just now, and their son must have heard it. So, she didn't bother calling Qi Mo.

Five minutes later, footsteps sounded on the stairs.

The couple immediately looked up at the handsome man descending with a stern expression.

As soon as Qi's father saw him, his face soured even more.

He was about to lash out at him, but Qi's mother immediately grabbed his arm, "Shut up!"

"You...!" Qi's father's face was exceptionally unsightly, but before he could utter the rest of his words, Qi's mother spoke coldly, "If you want to know the reason, control your temper."

Qi's father: "..."

In an instant, Qi's father couldn't utter a single word.

He, he was going to be angered to death by this mother and son sooner or later!

Qi's mother glared at him, "You don't have to look at me like that. I know what you old bastard is thinking. You've lived for more than half your life, and you look perfectly healthy. You don't look like you're about to die from anger. Why don't you die sooner, so I can remarry! Don't waste my youth!"

Qi's father was amused to anger again, "You? You? And you still have youth!?"

His already robust physique seemed even fiercer as he stared at the woman. If it were anyone else, they might have been so scared they wouldn't dare say a word.

However, Qi's mother was not afraid. Not only was she not afraid, but she was also fierce, "If you yell again, I won't say a word for you!"

Qi's father glared at her with wide eyes, his face looking extremely unpleasant, but he stubbornly couldn't say a word.

Everything he said now was wrong.

Most importantly, he wanted to get some information from Qi Mo.

Soon, Qi Mo walked down and sat on the sofa opposite them.

He frowned slightly and said, "Why are you here so late?"
