Soon, Qin Si Ye replied, "I just washed up briefly. I was very careful and didn't touch anything. Rest assured. Goodnight."
"Goodnight," Yin Xi sent after these two words, feeling a lot lighter in her heart. With a smile on her lips, she slowly drifted off to dreamland.
The next day, as soon as she opened her bedroom door, she saw Qin Si Ye walking towards her from the master bedroom, dressed in loungewear. After their heartfelt conversation last night, seeing him again stirred an unusual feeling in Yin Xi, leaving her momentarily stunned and unsure of how to react.
"Good morning," the man said, walking forward with great composure. He gently took her hand and led her downstairs, "Let's eat together."
Yin Xi hesitated for a moment before quickly following his steps. Glancing at the handsome man beside her, Yin Xi actually felt her heart race a little. Come to think of it, she shouldn't be reacting this way. They had even kissed and slept together, and holding hands was a common occurrence. She didn't know what was happening to her. It felt as if she was very familiar with this man, yet also as if she had just met him.
They arrived downstairs to find the three children already dressed and waiting for them at the table. Seeing them come down hand in hand, the three exchanged knowing smiles and quickly pulled them to sit. Li Sao walked out from the kitchen, and upon seeing this scene, a happy smile graced her face. Earlier, she had heard loud knocking and talking from upstairs, but the sounds had eventually ceased. It seemed that Miss Yin must have been upset about something and the master had comforted her.
Qin Si Ye sat at the head of the table. Halfway through the meal, he looked up at Yin Xi and asked, "Are you going to work today?"
"No. There are still people lurking around the pharmaceutical company and the pharmacies. I think I'll hide for another day and go tomorrow," Yin Xi replied softly after recalling what Chen Ying had told her.
"Oh." Qin Si Ye looked at the three children with gentle eyes. "Mommy and I have something to do later. Can we have Butler Liu take you to kindergarten?"
Upon hearing this, the three children immediately nodded in agreement. How could they possibly disagree with this chance for Mommy and Daddy to spend time alone? Yin Xi, however, looked up at him in surprise. Something to do? What did she and he have to do? She had no idea. Also, wasn't he going to work today?
After sending the children off, the two walked upstairs, one after the other. Yin Xi looked at the man's tall back, still full of confusion. The man stopped and looked back at her. Yin Xi cleared her throat, blinked, and asked, "Aren't you going out today?"
"Yes, I'm resting today," Qin Si Ye replied, his gaze deep. Resting? He had been so busy the past few days, and when she forbade him from going out, he insisted on leaving, claiming company matters required his presence. What was happening today? Had all the business been handled?
"You mentioned earlier that you had something to do with me. What is it?" Yin Xi asked again.
Qin Si Ye replied, "It's been seven days since I had stitches. Can you check if they can be removed?"
Remove the stitches? No way. He had only been discharged from the hospital five days ago. "I estimate it shouldn't be possible. Generally, stitches can only be removed seven days after discharge," Yin Xi frowned slightly.
"I read online that some people count seven days from when the stitches were put in. Everyone's physical condition is different. You can take a look for me; maybe I can have them removed," Qin Si Ye looked at her intently. It was evident that he was very eager to have the stitches removed. For a busy international conglomerate CEO like him, having those things on his body was indeed quite inconvenient.

"We can do it in your room," Qin Si Ye followed her without hesitation.
Yin Xi retrieved the medical kit, glanced at the double sofa, and frowned. Finally, she pointed to her bed and said, "Lie down there."
"Okay," Qin Si Ye's lips curved slightly. He walked over very willingly and lay down obediently.
Yin Xi gently uncovered his wound, observed it carefully for a moment, and then said, "The wound has healed quite well. The stitches can be removed."
"That's great! Hurry and remove them for me," Qin Si Ye excitedly grabbed her arm.
