Chapter 323 He Fell Onto Her

Qin Si Ye's move immediately shocked the entire audience, drawing gasps.

So that's how it could be done?

Shen Xi shyly pinched his arm. Qin Si Ye, however, looked down at her dismissively, "Don't move. You can't do strenuous activities. To save time and win the competition, I had to do this."

Seeing his confident justification and the fact that it was in front of so many people, Shen Xi could not express her anger and reluctance, even if she felt it a thousand times over.

She could only accept it silently. Fortunately, this was done to win the competition and bring honor to the children, and it held no other meaning.

Some parents, seeing this, imitated them. However, due to their physical strength and weight, they stumbled and fell after carrying them for just a few steps, which was counterproductive.

This caused everyone present to burst into laughter.

Meanwhile, Qin Si Ye and Shen Xi, with their perfect coordination, quickly transported four balloons.

When they were transporting the fifth balloon, the other four families were still on their third.

A triumphant smile spread across Qin Si Ye's face, looking as if victory was within his grasp.

Considering that Shen Xi might get tired, his walking pace had clearly slowed down compared to before.

As the balloon was about to reach the destination, Shen Xi's legs buckled, and she suddenly stumbled. With a startled cry, her body involuntarily leaned towards Qin Si Ye.

Qin Si Ye quickly turned and reflexively reached out to catch her, and the balloon between them instantly floated towards the ground.

Although Shen Xi was caught by his arm and didn't fall, seeing the balloon about to hit the ground, her mind went blank, and she recklessly stretched out her left hand to grab it.

Unexpectedly, before Qin Si Ye could regain his footing, the two of them, carried by inertia, toppled straight towards the ground.

In a moment of panic, Qin Si Ye quickly adjusted his body and fell first, allowing Shen Xi to land steadily on him instead of the hard concrete ground.

All of this happened too quickly. By the time everyone recovered, they saw the two of them in a pose resembling a human pyramid, with Shen Xi almost entirely on top of Qin Si Ye, her head buried deeply in his chest.

"Ah!" everyone exclaimed. Teacher Li and the parents nearby rushed towards them.

"How are you? Are you alright?"

"We're fine." Qin Si Ye managed a smile and waved his hands at them, not seeming to want them to get too close.

Everyone looked at each other, unsure whether they should go and help them up.

Qin Si Ye looked down at the woman on top of him and noticed her ears were flushed red. He gently patted her back, "Shen Xi, how are you?"

Shen Xi, however, didn't respond, still unwilling to look up.

Qin Si Ye knew she must be embarrassed, finding it difficult to face so many people after such an intimate action.

He scanned the surroundings and said in a steady voice, "Please continue with the competition. We're fine; we just need a moment to recover."

"How can you be fine? Look, your hand is bleeding," Teacher Li said, noticing the hand resting on Shen Xi's back, with a band-aid on it, was oozing red blood.

Upon hearing this, Shen Xi, startled, lifted her head and scrambled off him, picking up his right hand to examine it closely.

At this moment, with Tang Feng's help, Qin Si Ye also slowly stood up. Looking at Shen Xi, whose eyes were slightly red, he suddenly pulled his right hand back.

"It's nothing, just a graze. It will heal quickly."

Shen Xi, however, held his hand tightly and pulled him directly to where their bags were placed, to reapply medication for him.

The three children also ran over, looking at him with worry, asking him questions with concern.

"I'm really fine. Don't worry. Go and see how the next group is doing in their competition. What place do you think we'll get?" Qin Si Ye looked at them with gentle eyes.

As soon as the three children left, Shen Xi, with slightly red eyes, lowered her head and apologized, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have reached for that balloon just now."

Qin Si Ye, however, looked at her intently, "I told you, I don't want those words."

His hand paused slightly. Shen Xi understood his meaning and met his gaze, saying sincerely, "Thank you!"

Qin Si Ye's lips curved upward. He extended his left hand and grabbed hers, "You don't need to say it out loud; just keep it in your heart. This is the fourth one."

Shen Xi didn't speak. Her watery peach blossom eyes met his for a few seconds, and she gently pulled her hand away, continuing to disinfect and apply medicine to his wound.
