Gentle Sleep Instructor
Chapter 88 Unyielding Su Yu
Su Yu's body writhed, squeezed into a crack in the door the size of a human head. A withered arm stretched out, as if to grab Fatty's leg, his eyes gleaming with a bizarre light.
Just as Fatty was desperately kicking his legs, thinking he was about to die, he suddenly heard a loud bang, and Su Yu's torso, which had already emerged, froze.
Then his head tilted, as if most of his strength had been drained away, and he fell face-first onto the ground.
Only the bony fingers were still twitching occasionally.
Fatty's eyes widened.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Jiang Cheng standing beside Su Yu, holding the second flower pot high in both hands, and then smashing it down hard.
"Bang!"
The fingers in front of him trembled violently and stopped moving.
The series of frights made Fatty unable to hold on any longer. His vision gradually blurred, and finally, his head tilted, and he passed out completely...
When he woke up again, he found himself in the courtyard, leaning against a pillar.
Not far in front of him was a patch of sand, with a chair standing in the middle.
It was the kind used in student days, not high, with a backrest, and very hard. Most importantly, there was a person tied to the chair.
Su Yu.
Almost the instant he saw Su Yu, Fatty woke up. He immediately turned his stiff neck and began searching for Jiang Cheng.
After a while, a rustling sound came from far to near, and Jiang Cheng's figure emerged from around a corner, each arm carrying a round object.
It wasn't until he got closer that Fatty recognized them as two red flower pots.
"Doctor!" Fatty's voice was agitated.
Jiang Cheng looked in Fatty's direction and nodded. "You're awake."
Fatty seemed to have many questions to ask, but he didn't know where to start. In short, he felt that the doctor was too ruthless, capturing a ghost with two flower pots.
And then tying the ghost up.
Jiang Cheng seemed to see Fatty's concerns. He put the flower pots on the ground and pointed at Su Yu, saying, "He won't wake up for a while, so don't worry."
"Doctor," Fatty said, his face extremely excited, "You're too ruthless! You actually dared to smash a ghost's head with a flower pot!"
Jiang Cheng was stunned for a moment, then looked at Fatty with a strange expression and said, "Are you sick? He's a person, not a ghost."
"If he's not a ghost, how could he look like that and reach out to grab me?" Fatty shook his head in disbelief.
"Hey," Jiang Cheng walked forward and patted Su Yu's face. "Wake up, I have something to ask you."
Fatty stood up and trotted over.
After waking up, Su Yu no longer had the bizarre look he had before. His hands were tied behind the chair, and his legs were also tied together. His face was so pale that he looked like he was about to faint again.
"You despicable accomplices..., damn it! You should all die!!" He spoke weakly, but the ferocity was still there, making Fatty inexplicably think of a crab being tied up and put into a pot.
"What is all this nonsense?" Fatty stared.
At this point, he also confirmed that Su Yu was indeed a person, not a ghost.
After all, blood was still flowing from his head after being hit by two flower pots. Jiang Cheng found a towel and wrapped it around his head, tying it with a flashy bow.
What was infuriating was that no matter what Fatty asked, Su Yu kept repeating the same few sentences over and over again.
It was clear that he held a great deal of resentment. The words he mentioned most often were: accomplice, damn it, pervert, possess, dog, Chen Yao, and... Li Yanwei.
"Heh... hehe..." Su Yu, his face covered in blood, lowered his head and sneered. "You're all in cahoots, you can't escape..."
"Chen Yao will come for you..."
"You wait to die, you won't get anything from me, you... she won't let any of you go."
Hearing this, Fatty couldn't help but swallow. It was almost certain that Chen Yao was a ghost, but as for what Su Yu said...
"You might have misunderstood," Jiang Cheng suddenly said. "We're not with Li Yanwei. We just want to find out the truth about what happened back then and clear the name of the deceased."
Fatty also chimed in, saying, "That's right, we're not with them either. We're messengers of justice."
Su Yu raised his head, his mouth widened, and his voice was hoarse. "Do you think I'll be fooled by you? Do you think I don't know that Chen Yao has already haunted you? Do you think... how much longer can you live? That slut Li Yanwei..."
"Tsk." Jiang Cheng seemed to have lost patience. He said to Fatty, "You go out first. I want to talk to Brother Su Yu alone."
Fatty glanced back at Su Yu and obediently left.
Only Jiang Cheng and Su Yu were left in the courtyard.
Fatty didn't dare to go far after leaving, and hid in a nearby room.
This was where Su Yu rested. There was an old, broken table and a bed that was kept relatively clean.
There was no lamp in the room, only a white candle burning faintly, emitting a dim light.
There was a large piece of glass on the table.
Fatty walked over curiously and found several photos pressed under the glass. They were all group photos of a man and a woman, both wearing dance costumes, working together in harmony, their movements beautiful and agile, giving the impression of a loving couple.
The man was obviously Su Yu, but the woman... Fatty's eyes slowly widened.
It was Chen Yao.
Several short scenes pieced together in his mind, and he seemed to realize something. He turned and walked out, only to run into Jiang Cheng, who had come to find him.
"Doctor," Fatty said quickly, taking the lead. "I understand now. You were right. Li Yanwei was lying."
"Su Yu wasn't seduced by Chen Yao. They were in love freely. Li Yanwei was the one who interfered!"
Jiang Cheng nodded expressionlessly.
Fatty's expression was strange for a moment, and then, as if realizing something belatedly, he tentatively asked, "Doctor, did Su Yu... confess everything?"
"Yes."
Fatty sighed and looked towards the courtyard, saying with emotion, "It must have taken a lot of effort for you to get him to talk."
"It's okay," Jiang Cheng said, touching his chin. "It's just a pity about those two flower pots."
Fatty: "..."
As Jiang Cheng began to describe Su Yu's confession to Fatty, the latter's eyes widened.
He didn't expect Su Yu to be so cooperative, explaining everything in detail and even handing over the diary that Chen Yao had given him before.
His behavior was in stark contrast to the unyielding man he had been before.
According to Su Yu, the one with mental problems wasn't Chen Yao, but Li Yanwei.
She used her identity as the principal's daughter to bully people in the school and forcibly intervened in Chen Yao and Su Yu's relationship.
She was a pervert, mentally unstable, and extremely possessive. Chen Yao was framed as a promiscuous woman simply because she didn't follow Li Yanwei's instructions to break up with Su Yu.
