Chapter 929: Chapter 479: Forcing In, Killing Crow (Part 2)
Crow hesitated for a moment, then quickly approached, and indeed found that Gonzalez’s arm had partially entered.
The surface of his skin was covered with purple patterns, as if he had harnessed extremely powerful energy.
"It seems possible to force entry; the defense level of this thing hasn’t reached the point where it is unshakeable," Gonzalez pondered, while Crow’s expression changed slightly.
The gap between him and Gonzalez was not small either; the latter could barely squeeze in, while Crow feared he might not be able to enter.
"Help me get inside..." Gonzalez was somewhat excited and urged, then added, "Whatever is gained inside, you will have a share."
Though Crow was unwilling in his heart, he thought of the others who had already entered, and had no choice but to stand behind Gonzalez, his life force surging as he tried to push.
With their combined effort, Gonzalez’s entry speed was markedly increased, and most of his body quickly submerged into the swirling portal.
"Wait..." Crow suddenly remembered, fear flaring up within him: "There’s still an Abyss Clan member outside, what if he targets me?"
"Just find somewhere to hide..." Gonzalez replied somewhat dismissively; he couldn’t wait to enter.
"Find somewhere to hide..." Crow cursed internally, sensing the force from behind start to weaken, prompting Gonzalez to hastily say, "Later, give me your hand, I’ll try to pull you in."
Upon hearing this, Crow reluctantly agreed, and Gonzalez gradually entered sideways, submerging the remainder of his body, including his head.
His hand grasped Crow, seemingly intending to pull him in by force.
Yet, after only two minutes, Gonzalez’s arm suddenly loosened, dropping Crow entirely as he entered the swirling portal.
"Gonzalez!" Crow’s face twisted, his eyes bloodshot, gasping heavily.
He raised his head abruptly, seemingly trying to do something, but calmed down after a moment.
If he were to return alone, he wouldn’t survive in the Star Alliance, as the entire interstellar realm would be after him.
But now, everyone had gone inside, leaving him alone outside, feeling as if he were suffering tremendous loss with every passing moment.
Fear gripped him further, as he sensed a vague feeling of being watched in the surrounding mist.
"Li Ming!" Suddenly he remembered the instigator, growing more outraged.
He only wanted to draw some blood from him, not kill him, yet that kid bore a grudge and even injected some virus into him.
Crow then realized Li Ming, or perhaps Azure Dragon, seemed to be the biggest beneficiaries of this exploration.
Meanwhile, he had to remain cautious of a sudden attack from the hidden Abyss Clan, growing increasingly furious.
His eyes, filled with blood, suddenly turned to the nearby mechanical body, a cold smile flickering, as he raised his fist.
"Once he comes out, he certainly can’t be spared; he’s merely an S Level life form, and if I seize the chance for a sneak attack, even the Mecha can’t protect him."
While pondering, his heart skipped a beat.
The level of the mechanical body isn’t high, but it didn’t feel like an overwhelming strike, instead like punching a wall that wouldn’t budge.
Crow’s pupils shrank, his expression changing drastically, as he saw an ordinary mechanical palm emerge from the inconspicuous mechanical assembly, blocking his attack precisely.
"What’s going on?"
At that moment, Crow felt chills down his spine, an uncontrollable coldness spreading from his tailbone to his head.
His fist ached with extreme pain from the collision, wanting instinctively to withdraw, but the force holding him proved irresistible.
His vision dimmed, as a massive amount of mechanical components surged like a flood from behind, resembling a mechanical alien with its jaws wide open, intending to swallow him whole.
They rapidly assembled, linking together and emitting a harsh metallic grinding sound, their surface flashing cold lights.
In the next moment, these mechanical parts enveloped the metal palm clutching him, almost completely encasing his arm.
Crow’s face turned pale with shock, as a familiar burly figure stood before him, seemingly more imposing and mighty, prompting him to shout, "Azure... Azure Dragon?"
He watched Li Ming enter the swirling portal with wide eyes; this mechanical assembly must be Azure Dragon!
"Wha... what do you want!" Crow said fiercely, but his fear showed as his arm was tightly bound.
Just as he finished, he glimpsed a massive purple hammer manifesting in the burly mechanical right arm’s hand.
Faced with imminent death, Crow’s heart raced at an unimaginable speed, "You... you can’t kill me!"
"Listen to me, we hold no grudges; I merely wanted to draw a little blood from Li Ming and failed, I never intended to kill him!"
"If you kill me, the Star Alliance won’t spare you!"
Facing death, Crow felt deep anger and fear, never expecting to end up so miserably, possibly without a sound.
"Just wanted to draw a little blood?" Finally, a voice emerged from the burly mechanical body, interspersed with electromagnetic echoes, "I merely want to kill you."
A hand clamped Crow tightly, as the Infinite Hammer descended fiercely, the compressed space exploding inch by inch.
Despair filled Crow’s eyes, finally awakening to the dire situation, intending to resist and defend himself.
Yet the frail Energy Shield shattered under the overpowering force.
Boom!
The terrifying force exploded Crow’s head, followed by his chest, as Li Ming, holding his other arm, tore it from the shoulder to the elbow, crashing down like a meteor.
Crash--
The ground cracked, though fortunately not extensively.
He released Crow’s severed arm, flexing his hand, adding two more Mechanical Guards to his Venerate King Form, greatly increasing power, leading to a loss of control.
Luckily, he held back in the end, preventing the central area from completely collapsing.
He dropped underground, finding Crow’s corpse, already nearly reduced to mush, killed with a single hammer.
"This guy’s strength is even lower than I expected." Li Ming estimated, Crow’s development might not even exceed 50%, with a regular energy level of just 100X.
Overwhelmed by fright, he lacked any ability to resist.
"However, these two fellows could guess their inability to enter was due to me." Li Ming cleaned up the scene, erasing traces of his actions.
He glanced towards the distant mist, briefly spotting a vague shadow that disappeared in a flash.
"There’s still Gonzalez left..." Li Ming pondered, employing his possession ability, hiding outside to find an opportunity to eliminate those two.
Initially, he intended to provoke the Abyss Clan into action using his unique attributes, providing himself the chance to strike.
Gonzalez’s strength couldn’t be underestimated; if both were at peak state, dealing with them wouldn’t be easy.
Getting entangled in a prolonged battle was the last thing he wanted.
Thus, seeing Gonzalez able to enter the swirling portal, he refrained from stopping, finding it easier to handle Crow alone after the latter’s entry.
"Taking them down one by one works too." With a leap, he landed before the swirling portal, retracting the mechanical structure into his body.
After a brief hesitation, he stepped in, feeling a water membrane sweep over his skin.
As his whole body submerged, everything before him transformed.
Surrounded by dazzling sights, he lost track of time, until clarity returned abruptly.
He immediately looked around cautiously; it appeared to be a palace, with floors, walls, and countless white-golden pillars seemingly constructed from some kind of metal.
Intricate, intersecting lines were engraved on the floor, periodically flashing golden, extending from his position outward in a rhythmic manner, akin to breathing.
