Chapter 1 The Ambush

Gunshots erupted and ceased after about twenty seconds at the Hanoi hospital. Many families of patients in the emergency department, along with the patients themselves, were startled and nervously peered out of their rooms. However, they were persuaded to return by police officers lying in ambush in the corridors of each floor, who claimed that they were arresting criminals and that it was dangerous.

After the gunshots stopped, You Yifan cracked open the door in his hospital room, repeatedly urging, "Ask, have they all been caught?"

The young man held a walkie-talkie and asked quickly, "Is it over?"

"They've all been caught. Four downstairs, three to finish them off, and a driver," a voice responded on the walkie-talkie. "The leader took two shots and was injured."

Hearing this, You Yifan immediately snatched the walkie-talkie and demanded, "Are you sure there's no one else inside the building?!"
