Chapter 493 Meeting

Chapter 196 The Woman

Inside the bar's stairwell, A-Hua, seeing Lao Hei and Hou Guoyu hesitate, immediately added, "Big brother, little brother, if I can't find Lao Fei, then I won't live anymore."

Lao Hei frowned upon hearing this. He knew very well that A-Hua's words were full of threat. If he and Monkey didn't do as she said, A-Hua might expose their identities.

Who could be sure what a bandit leader's woman was capable of?

"Alright, go up. We'll wait for you outside," Lao Hei said expressionlessly.

"Don't worry, I'll come out as soon as I get Lao Fei's news," A-Hua nodded.

"Let's go." The thug holstered his gun and led A-Hua upstairs with unsteady steps.

"Let's go out first," Lao Hei said to Hou Guoyu.

"Damn it, it was unnecessary to bring this woman here. It's such a waste of time," Hou Guoyu cursed irritably.

Lao Hei immediately advised, "Don't worry, you wouldn't be able to connect with the other side if you didn't bring her. Let's go, we'll talk outside."

There was no point in them staying inside the bar. A-Hua had already left their sight. The most pressing matter was to discuss a plan with Su Tianyu, not to wait foolishly.

The two quickly left the bar and drove away from the main entrance in their SUV.

"What's the plan?" Lao Hei asked Su Tianyu, frowning as he plugged his earpiece in.

Su Tianyu had heard everything they said through the earpiece. After a moment of hesitation, he immediately said, "Everyone spread out around the bar. I don't think they'll talk inside. A-Hua might be taken away."

"Understood!"

After a brief exchange, Su Tianyu immediately asked Zhou Tonghui, "When will your people arrive?"

"Soon, less than twenty kilometers away," Zhou Tonghui replied, holding his phone.

"Damn it, who knows how many people inside the bar are with the other side. It might turn into a big scene today," Su Tianyu frowned and ordered, "Hurry and urge them to come as soon as possible."

"Understood!" Zhou Tonghui responded.

"I hope this A-Hua isn't an idiot," Su Tianyu muttered helplessly.

...

On the second floor of the bar, the thug led A-Hua into an empty dressing room, then pushed open a hidden door disguised as a wardrobe on the left and said with a smile, "Go in."

A-Hua stepped into the corridor behind the hidden door and was immediately assaulted by an extremely pungent fragrance. She could also hear unrestrained moans coming from the small rooms on both sides.

This was a place dirtier than dirt, with all sorts of activities related to gambling, drugs, and prostitution going on behind the hidden door. A-Hua glanced around. Her heroic face didn't show much panic.

The three of them arrived at a room. The thug said to a scantily clad woman, "Get her a coat."

A-Hua didn't say anything or ask any questions.

The woman grabbed a random piece of clothing from the rack and threw it over. A-Hua put it on without a word and asked expressionlessly, "Is this okay?"

The thug stood up and pointed at A-Hua's money box with a smile, "Is that real money in there?"

"You won't get the full five hundred thousand until I see my husband," A-Hua replied bluntly.

"You're pretty brave," the thug said as he took out a brand new signal jammer from his pocket, turned it on, and threw it into A-Hua's pocket. "Alright, let's go!"

Five minutes later, the group left the dirty den through a hidden passage used to avoid inspections, arrived on the street behind the bar, and got into a van together.

Inside the van, Hu Zi, sitting near the door, looked up and said to the driver, "Let's go!"

The van quickly left the vicinity of the bar.

"Where's the money?" Hu Zi turned and asked A-Hua.

"There's two hundred thousand in the box as a token of sincerity. The rest will be transferred to you after I see my husband," A-Hua replied.

"Give it to me," Hu Zi said, reaching out.

A-Hua held the box tightly. "I haven't seen anything. I can't give it to you. This is life-saving money!"

"Heh!" Hu Zi chuckled, took out his phone, and played the video and audio that Fei Pingsheng had recorded in advance.

A-Hua patiently watched and listened, already forming a judgment in her mind. Raising her eyebrows, she said calmly, "How can this prove my husband is still alive? I must talk to him now. If he agrees, I'll definitely give you the money."

"Damn it, do you think I'm here for business negotiations?" Hu Zi raised his arm with a gloomy expression, grabbing A-Hua's neck and tightening his fingers. "Do you believe I can send you to reunite with him right now?!"

A-Hua's head was pressed tightly against the car seat by the other party's grip, her face flushed, but her hands still didn't release the money box. She said in a hoarse and strained voice, "Let me talk to my husband!"

"Talk to your ass!" Hu Zi, with A-Hua's neck in his grip, immediately said to the people next to him, "Snatch the money box!"

The two thugs in the back seat grinned, stood up, and reached out towards A-Hua.

...

On the surrounding streets.

Fang Zheng frowned and asked a coast guard officer, "Has the tracking signal been restored yet?"

"No, there's no signal at all," the coast guard officer said, looking at the tablet. "It should be jammed."

"Damn it!" Fang Zheng cursed and immediately shouted into the walkie-talkie to Su Tianyu, "Any movement at the back door?"

"No," Su Tianyu asked, "You still haven't found the signal over there?"

"No signal at all," Fang Zheng shook his head. "Damn it, could there be other secret doors in this bar?! They might not leave through the back door."

Su Tianyu sat in the car, anxiously saying, "The people at the back door stay put. The people guarding the main intersections, if you see any cars with heavily tinted windows, stop them immediately. Have the coast guard show their credentials. This town isn't big, and they don't know our identities, so they definitely won't go far!"

"Roger!"

"Roger!"

Everyone responded. Fang Zheng cursed, clutching the walkie-talkie, "Damn it, this woman is such a hindrance. Why won't she listen?!"

...

Inside the van.

A-Hua, clutching the money box, was struggling with three men.

"Slap!"

The thug, getting impatient with A-Hua, slapped her. "Damn it! If you kick me again, I'll let them gang rape you! Give me the box!"

A-Hua looked up at the three men, completely certain that Hu Zi, who was sitting next to her, was the one who had called her.

"Okay, I'll give you the money, give you the money, okay?" A-Hua said, panting. "But after I give you this two hundred thousand, you have to let my husband call me!"

"Hurry up and give it to us!" the thug shouted.

A-Hua raised her arm and released the box.

The thug, bending over and standing in the van, looked down and opened the money box. He indeed saw stacks of banknotes inside. He casually took out one and verified it, grinning and saying, "It's real money...!"

"Bang!"

At that moment, A-Hua suddenly sprang up like a madwoman, using both hands to lift the money box that the thug was holding and smashed it directly onto his head.

Money flew everywhere inside the van.

A-Hua rushed towards the driver's seat as if her life depended on it and pulled the handbrake with one hand.
