Sophia opened her eyes, filled with boundless rage and determination, and she scanned the surroundings as her gaze landed on the figure of the police officer. His head exploded into a hundred pieces, and the same happened to everyone in a 300-meter radius, the area which she covered entirely with her bloodlust.

The fighter jet pilots watched on with horror as thousands of people’s heads exploded one after the other, all who were within the red colored dome. Sophia’s eyes then moved onto the approaching advanced fighter jets; her eyes could see them crystal clear, and even her body had reached a new level of power to accommodate the impossible amount of energy coursing through her veins.

The pillar of black energy piercing the skies shrank back, all the energy entering back into her body. As she transformed her dress with the black qi, it turned from pink to completely dark. The black qi itself weaved the dress into the same one she wore after she was summoned to the Eldarion continent.

Sophia also retracted the blood colored dome of killing intent. She condensed her almost mountainous bloodlust into liquid form, then compressed it further into a solid crystalline state, and forged two red crystal swords out of it. Within the transparent body of the two swords, there were small veins of black energy pulsing rhythmically, akin to a heartbeat. The power of the bloody swords was so immense that it was distorting the air itself; the air itself seemed to be howling in pain and decaying from the aftermath of the condensed unholy bloodlust she accumulated throughout her lives.

Those two swords weren’t just creations from her bloodlust, but the condensation of the endless sin of slaughter she committed without a shred of genuine remorse.

She slashed out with one of the two swords, as an arc of the black qi shot out from it, but it had a red hue on one side of it, increasing its power tremendously. Everywhere it went through, that very space seemed to lose its stability, and it permanently darkened subtly as if the sunlight was unable to light those spaces anymore. This phenomenon looked wholly unnatural.

The two fighter jets circling through the area weren’t slow either. As they maneuvered through the skies, the jets hurriedly tried to avoid the black strike of energy coming towards them. But they were unable to prevent the attack, as the crescent shape of the attack changed abruptly, writhing like a snake, the two fighter jets were both split into two. With two loud explosions, both of their remnants crashed onto the ground.

A few buildings broke down, catching on fire, and countless more lives were lost. Sophia’s face turned stone cold, devoid of any emotion. She looked like an artificial doll at the moment. Every single superpower government and military watched on with alarm. Unable to make heads or tails. But none lost their composure, while some of the mad ones had a gleam of interest in them. After all, the power of modern weapons went far beyond just a few fighter jets.

Soon, Russia’s fighter jets also reached her, but instead of getting close, they shot at her with missiles from afar. Sophia didn’t even turn around. Another slash of the black energy infused with her killing intent, the explosive missiles shot from the jets were unable to harm her in the slightest. The fighter jets were again destroyed. More and more deadly modern weaponry was fired, but not a single one of them even managed to scratch her.

This continued for more than a few hours, until they stopped; even the most powerful of bunker buster weapons of the two strongest forces on earth were unable to harm her in even the slightest way. It seems they were now considering sending people to negotiate and buy time, and prepare another proper countermeasure. They couldn’t throw a nuke at her, as she was still within a habitable area. The top world leaders were discussing the best course of action.

Sophia used that time to go to a particular place as she ran at a speed surpassing the velocity of sound. She reached the gate of her parents’ company. It seems they were leaving, as the building was quite near the area of threat. The area of threat being the place where she began the slaughter. Just as they were about to enter the car and leave, going as far away from this place as possible.

She appeared right beside them, showing a cold smile, "Hello, mother, hello, father?? Why are you leaving me behind?"

Both of their blood froze in their veins, hearing the familiar voice of their inhumane daughter. They obviously saw the news; in just a single glance, they knew that it was Sophia, their very own monstrous daughter. And that they were right. Their daughter had always been a monster. But now, they did not know what to do. As they both turned around, meeting her gaze that had turned something akin to that of an alien.

The father stated, his voice filled with hatred, "You were a monster all along."

The mother added in similar fury, "Tell us the truth, you were never our child, were you? Why? Why did you destroy our beautiful lives like that?"

Sophia gave a mirthless smile, though she wanted to say many things. In the end, she did not utter a single word to them; she reckoned that they weren’t worth it. Grabbing both of their heads and smashing their skulls into each other. Blood and brain matter rained down everywhere. For a moment, she could not help but think, ’Okay, that was somewhat satisfying.’

She had to admit she was somewhat enjoying killing these pests named humans. She realized the actual trial for her was never about destroying the whole of humanity; it was an additional requirement for what she wished for Tyler.

But her main trial itself was always about killing Tyler, the one she cared about the most. As she always had. That was the actual trial for her. As she was contemplating this, a soldier was nearing her in measured steps. He wasn’t sneaking up on her; instead, both of his hands were up in a gesture of surrender. She gazed at the soldier, who shivered uncontrollably from just that minute gesture on her part.

The soldier kneeled down and put a kind of projection device on the ground. The holographic figures of the five leaders from the five most powerful countries in the world were revealed. They all had grim expressions on their faces, looking at Sophia, even though they were looking at her through a screen from who knew how far away.

They could feel it; there was something genuinely wrong with her eyes. They were being affected by it, brushing down the fear in their hearts as they looked at her monstrous eyes. The most powerful man on the planet began to speak, addressing her by the name they had already discovered, including everything else about her background.

"Sophia Turner, what are you? What do you want? We want to negotiate if possible. Unless you want 10 nuclear heads dropping on you simultaneously."

Her alien gaze scanned all of them simultaneously as if considering something to herself. She let out a tired sigh, her cold expression cracking. She closed her eyes, and a different kind of sensation flowed through her mind as she saw the countless black threads emerging from her. Each of them was connected to numerous other people in various corners of the world. Still, every single one of them was an extremely important figure, including the very five people in front of her. Controlling every bit of her black qi, she sent it through the millions of black threads, which only she could see.

Her eyes snapped open, as she proclaimed boldly for the very last time, the word that would spill the final doom of this entire world, "Obliterate..."
