Chapter 12 Heaven's Blessing

Lan Yan stood in the courtyard, complaining to the system, "System, I'm really struggling. Not only are there many messes left by the original host, but Jun Yelan no longer trusts anyone."

"Host, keep up the good work," the system encouraged.

"Sigh," Lan Yan wanted to sigh. If there were a progress bar, she suspected she'd still be at square one. She asked, "System, you keep encouraging me, at least give me some suggestions."

The system maintained its soft, cute voice, "Host, don't humans say that to capture a person, you must first capture their stomach? I have many recipes here, you can try making food."

Lan Yan hesitated, but there was no other way at the moment. She needed to prove her words and break the ice with Jun Yelan. "Alright, let's do that." She hooked her lips and walked towards the kitchen.

The system breathed a sigh of relief, finding it hard to please the host.

As Lan Yan headed to the kitchen, she passed by the adjacent courtyard where her younger siblings now lived. Seeing them playing, she called out, "Xiao Wen, Xiao Wu, Xiao Yi."

Looking at the three little ones before her, she pointed to her courtyard and said with a smile, "There's a very handsome young man there, you can go play with him. But the young man's legs are different from ours, they are just a gift from heaven, so you must not make fun of him."

"Okay, Eldest Sister," the three little ones nodded, becoming even more curious about what kind of person the young man their eldest sister was hiding.

Lan Yan smiled with satisfaction and proceeded to the kitchen. She tinkered in the kitchen for a long time and made a four-layered sweet heart box. She then hurried back.

Meanwhile, Jun Yelan was resting with his eyes closed. The sooner he recovered, the sooner he could escape from here. He suddenly heard a faint knock on the door.

He looked towards the entrance. If it were Lan Yan, she would have pushed the door open and come in directly. His eyes darkened, and as he opened the door, he saw three children standing at the entrance, holding a shuttlecock.

The four of them stared at each other. Xiao Yi was the first to speak, "Wow, Eldest Sister was right, there really is a super handsome brother here. Brother, are you our brother-in-law?"

Jun Yelan was startled and shook his head, "No. Your Eldest Sister is Lan Yan, did she say anything else to you?"

Xiao Yi, with her good memory, told Jun Yelan everything Lan Yan had just said, and added, "Brother, my second sister said you are the person Eldest Sister is keeping hidden in a golden house, why are you hiding you?"

Jun Yelan was stunned by a child's words. What did Lan Yan usually tell her younger siblings? He didn't know how to answer for a moment and said, "That's not true."

But when he heard that his snake tail was a gift from heaven, his heart actually trembled slightly.

The three children tilted their heads, their eyes full of confusion. However, they didn't dwell on it, pulled Jun Yelan's sleeve, and said with a smile, "Brother, play with us, Eldest Sister kicks the shuttlecock very well."

Although Jun Yelan disliked Lan Yan, he did not dislike these three children. So he accompanied the children to play.

When Lan Yan returned with the food box, she saw this scene. Looking at the faint smile on Jun Yelan's lips, she said, "This is the first smile I've seen from him since I arrived. I won't disturb them."

She walked into the courtyard and sat down. Feeling a bit bored, she went to the study, took out paper and brush, and drew this scene. Looking at the person in the painting, she smiled and said, "System, Jun Yelan is good-looking, and even more captivating when he smiles."

There was no response from her mind.

When the younger siblings got tired from playing, they left.

Lan Yan then walked in, ready to greet Jun Yelan, but she didn't see the stool in front of her and stumbled forward. She leaned on the table and exclaimed, "That was close."

However, the painting in her hand rolled onto the floor, revealing the scene depicted on it.

Jun Yelan was slightly taken aback.
