"That's not my style," Piao said with all seriousness.
Mu Anxiao looked at Piao's earnest reply and chuckled dryly. "Everyone has their own style of doing things, but I think you could appropriately change your kill-kill-kill style. Of course, if you change it and find it doesn't feel right, change it again next time. It'll get better with practice."
"Your roundabout way of speaking simply means you want me to leave the Demon Realm, doesn't it?" Piao directly revealed Mu Anxiao's thought.
Mu Anxiao looked at Piao with an awkward expression, chuckling twice. "I just wanted you to change your style. If you don't want to, then I can't help it." With that, she turned and walked away first.
Piao followed Mu Anxiao. "If that's what you mean, I can change."
"Don't force yourself," Mu Anxiao said, turning her head to look at Piao who had walked up beside her.
"No, actually, I do want to change my way of doing things," Piao said seriously as they walked.
Mu Anxiao smiled. "Really."
"Really," Piao nodded.
Mu Anxiao smiled in relief.
"It's rather strange not being a demon who kills people and monsters," Piao suddenly said.
"Not killing is precisely your style as a demon," Mu Anxiao replied.
Upon hearing this, Piao smiled faintly.
In the deep forest, Xu Lanyan yawned and stood up, looking at the number one male rat demon approaching him. "How is it?"
"The time will be delayed," the number one male rat demon said.
"What?" Xu Lanyan exclaimed in surprise.
"There's demonic energy in the demon barrier," the number one male rat demon stated seriously.
"Demonic energy? Can you still resolve it?" Xu Lanyan asked nervously.
"We can, but it will take time," the number one male rat demon said calmly.
"Two hours?" Xu Lanyan calculated to himself.
The number one male rat demon shook his head slightly. "It will take until at least tomorrow morning."
"Tomorrow... morning?" Xu Lanyan was shocked.
"If we forcefully break the formation, it will affect this area," the number one male rat demon added.
Xu Lanyan pondered his words and said, "Alright then, we'll wait."
"Thank you for your understanding," the number one male rat demon said.
Xu Lanyan shook his head. "No, you've all worked very hard."
Hearing this, the number one male rat demon smiled at Xu Lanyan and turned back to his work.
Xu Lanyan's smile faded. He looked up at the sky, his heart truly beginning to worry.
At the Cultivation Sect, Mu Anxiao and Piao entered the room together. Feng Qishi sat at the table, acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary. "You're back."
Mu Anxiao walked to the table and sat down. "Yes, we're back."
Feng Qishi casually handed Mu Anxiao a cup of water. "Are you getting married tomorrow?" he asked, looking up at Piao.
Piao replied, "We've chosen another day. I already notified them when I returned."
"How did you notify them?" Mu Anxiao asked curiously, tilting her head up.
Piao smiled. "I won't tell you."
Seeing this, Mu Anxiao scoffed and looked at Feng Qishi, who was staring at her. "Why are you looking at me?"
"Eye booger," Feng Qishi pointed at Mu Anxiao's eye.
Mu Anxiao heard this and immediately rubbed her eye. "There's nothing there."
"He's lying to you," Yan chuckled.
Hearing this, Mu Anxiao removed her hand, glared at Feng Qishi, and looked up at Piao. "Can you tell them?"
"Go ahead," Piao said, waving his hand behind him. The door closed.
Mu Anxiao calmly glanced at the closed door. "From what I understand, Queen Rabbit is going to make her move tomorrow morning."
"Make her move?" Yan's brow furrowed. "Then I need to hurry and discuss it with the rat demons."
Piao said, "No need."
"Why?" Yan looked at Piao and asked.
Piao glanced at Mu Anxiao.
Mu Anxiao explained, "They're all busy dismantling the demon barrier."
Feng Qishi was shocked. "Mu Shazi, why would you tell him that?" He stood up.
"He's one of our group now. We should be clear about things," Mu Anxiao said calmly.
Piao coldly stared at Feng Qishi and asked, "You're unhappy about Piao and Mu Anxiao being together, aren't you."
Feng Qishi averted his gaze. "How dare I? I'm terrified of a demon like you who kills at the slightest disagreement."
"Your attitude has changed very quickly," Piao commented inexplicably.
Feng Qishi's brow furrowed. "What do you mean by that?"
"It means nothing," Piao said, shaking his head slightly.
"You... you clearly have something hidden in your words. And," Feng Qishi discarded his previously respectful attitude towards Piao, "it's you who has changed quickly. When I met you, you were still a cold-faced great demon. How have you suddenly become a good boy?"
"What does 'good boy' mean?" Piao did not understand.
"It means an obedient pretty boy, a young master," Feng Qishi said pointedly.
Mu Anxiao looked at Feng Qishi's domineering and provocative face with confusion. "What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing's wrong," Feng Qishi replied, turning his face away and frowning. He thought to himself, *How strange. Why am I saying these things from my heart? It's too embarrassing!* As he thought this, his eyes flickered.
Piao smiled, observing Feng Qishi's state. "Are you jealous of me?"
Feng Qishi froze upon hearing this. He turned back to Piao and asked, "Why would I be jealous of you?"
"Because Piao and I are together," Piao said deliberately.
Feng Qishi rolled his eyes. "You and her are together, why would I be jealous? I just feel... she betrayed me." He pointed at Mu Anxiao.
Mu Anxiao asked, "How did I betray you?"
"You were my guide, and now you're with him, not me. I... I'm not happy." Feng Qishi feigned a nonchalant expression.
Mu Anxiao coldly looked at Feng Qishi's suddenly childish demeanor and uttered two words: "Immature."
"I am immature, and it's none of your business," Feng Qishi said, tilting his chin up.
Piao laughed. "Still jealous."
Hearing this, Feng Qishi's brow furrowed. "I..." He trailed off, then looked at Mu Anxiao and admitted, "Yes, I am jealous. I'm jealous that you two are together and don't include me, so what?"
"Immature," Piao sneered.
Feng Qishi pursed his lips.
Mu Anxiao took a deep breath and said, "Fine, tomorrow, we'll go together."
"Yes, together," Piao agreed.
Feng Qishi's eyes flickered, a hint of joy in his expression. "Really?"
"Why would I lie to you? You come with us," Mu Anxiao smiled slightly.
"Alright, how do we arrange it? Tell me," Feng Qishi said, feigning calmness as he sat down.
Piao stepped forward, walked around the table, and consciously sat beside Feng Qishi.
Feng Qishi glanced calmly at Piao, saying nothing.
Mu Anxiao looked at them and said, "It's simple, we'll wait outside Queen Rabbit's room."
"The three of us?" Feng Qishi asked in surprise, pointing at himself and then at them.
"Yes," Mu Anxiao nodded, then leaned in to meet Feng Qishi's eyes. "Don't you have a plan? You'll be the linchpin tomorrow."
