Chapter 208 Refusing to Lose Memory

Zhang Yan fanned himself leisurely and said, "My granddaughter is much more understanding of respecting the old and loving the young than you are. She wouldn't get angry with me."

Upon hearing this, Feng Qishi stopped in his tracks and turned to look at Zhang Yan, "Sir, I don't like what you're saying."

Zhang Yan glanced at Feng Qishi, then lay down, closed his eyes, and began to snore.

Feng Qishi couldn't do anything about Zhang Yan, so he snorted and turned, walking a few steps to the outside of Mu Anxiao's room.

"Mu Anxiao, I'm here," he knocked on the door.

However, there was no response.

Inside the room, the wolf demon in the gourd on the bed became active the moment it heard Feng Qishi's voice.

"Come in," it said, mimicking Mu Anxiao's voice with a falsetto.

Feng Qishi frowned upon hearing the strange voice from inside, "Strange, why does Mu Anxiao's voice sound so odd?"

Hearing no response, the wolf demon called out again, "Come in."

The next second, Mu Anxiao slapped the gourd.

The wolf demon felt a sharp blow to the top of its head, and its ears buzzed.

This time, Feng Qishi put aside his doubts, reached out, and gently pushed open the door, leaning in to look inside and say, "I'm coming in."

No one responded.

Feng Qishi swallowed, stepped into the room, closed the door gently with his hands behind his back, and looked at Mu Anxiao, who was slumped on the bed. He narrowed his eyes, speculating about the voice from earlier, "Her voice just now was clearly forced," he said, approaching Mu Anxiao a few steps with a graceful gait. He then peered at Mu Anxiao's sleeping posture and muttered, "Her face is buried in the pillow."

"My head," the wolf demon couldn't help but exclaim.

Feng Qishi was genuinely startled and took a step back. He peered at Mu Anxiao's motionless head and murmured, "Uh, she didn't suffocate, did she?" With that, he walked to the bedside without further thought, bent down, and pushed Mu Anxiao's arm forcefully twice.

Mu Anxiao frowned, slightly lifted her face from the pillow, wiped the drool from the corner of her mouth, and opened her eyes, saying, "Who touched me?" Then, she propped herself up.

Feng Qishi looked at Mu Anxiao with disdain and took a step back, looking at his hand that had just touched Mu Anxiao and saying, "It was me."

Hearing this, Mu Anxiao sat up, looked at Feng Qishi, and winked, saying, "Why is it you?"

"I need to talk to you," Feng Qishi said, stepping back again.

Mu Anxiao rubbed her nose again, casually picked up the gourd by her side, and said, "Don't ask what you shouldn't." As she spoke, she shuffled to the edge of the bed and stood up.

"Your voice wasn't like that just now," Feng Qishi stated the key point.

Mu Anxiao tucked the small jade gourd into her pocket in front of Feng Qishi and said, "I wasn't talking to you just now."

"Then it must have been it," Feng Qishi said, pointing to the small jade gourd Mu Anxiao had put in her pocket.

"Think whatever you want. It's a good thing," Mu Anxiao yawned and raised two fingers, "I was planning to look for you tonight."

"Why are you looking for me?" Feng Qishi asked, glancing at Mu Anxiao's fingers, which had begun to glow blue.

"Forget me," Mu Anxiao said, then flicked her two fingers towards Feng Qishi.

Unexpectedly, Feng Qishi dodged.

"You're not allowed to dodge," Mu Anxiao exclaimed, looking in surprise at Feng Qishi, who had managed to evade the spell.

Feng Qishi stood still, taking a breath, and said, "I don't want to forget this memory yet."

Mu Anxiao narrowed her eyes, "I don't have time to waste arguing with you." With that, she flicked the blue light again.

"My memories belong to me, and you have no right to destroy them," Feng Qishi said, leaning back. The blue light struck the wall with a thud.
