"Come here," Zhang Yan beckoned.
The security guard frowned, then obediently walked to the school gate. His expression stiffened for a moment before he smiled, "It's you."
"They know each other?" Mu Anxiao muttered under her breath.
Zhang Yan glanced sideways at Mu Anxiao and waved her over, "Come here."
Mu Anxiao eyed the security guard who had opened the gate and naturally walked behind Zhang Yan.
"Is this your granddaughter?" the security guard cautiously pointed at Mu Anxiao.
Zhang Yan nodded and led Mu Anxiao through the gate.
"I see," the security guard smiled and closed the gate, saying, "I'll notify them for you."
"No need, I'm looking for a teacher here," Zhang Yan replied.
"Alright then," the security guard nodded.
Zhang Yan remained silent, leading Mu Anxiao towards the teaching building.
The security guard, still with a smile, turned and walked back into the guardhouse.
"You're not going to look for Uncle Chen from Feng Qishi, are you?"
"Yes," Zhang Yan nodded.
"What are you looking for him for?" Mu Anxiao asked as she walked alongside Zhang Yan.
"Of course, I have something to discuss with him, but don't ask any more questions," Zhang Yan said, pointing at Mu Anxiao's mouth.
Mu Anxiao sighed, took half a step back, and took out a disc from her pocket. She looked at it and said, "It's especially quiet today."
"Stop looking at it," Zhang Yan stepped back, walking beside Mu Anxiao and speaking softly, "It's a part of your magic. Your magic is so weak now, it can't be much better."
"It won't react at all this week?" Mu Anxiao questioned.
"You could say that. It does react, but it's not accurate," Zhang Yan said indifferently.
Upon hearing this, Mu Anxiao's heart sank further.
"Alright, don't think about it. Old Chen said he wants me to bring you to him to chat."
"How come I didn't know?" Mu Anxiao asked, looking at Zhang Yan.
Zhang Yan smiled, "If you knew, would it still be a surprise?"
"You're something else," Mu Anxiao said helplessly and continued to walk forward with Zhang Yan.
In a blink of an eye, they arrived outside Uncle Chen's office.
Zhang Yan glanced at Mu Anxiao, raised his hand, and gently knocked on the office door. Inside the office, Feng Qishi glanced at Chen Shu and asked, "Someone is looking for you at noon?"
"Open the door," Chen Shu said, pointing at the door from his desk.
Feng Qishi pouted, stood up, walked to the door, and deliberately asked, "Who is it?"
Hearing this, Mu Anxiao was startled, "He's here too?"
Inside the door, Feng Qishi immediately heard Mu Anxiao's voice. He then stopped questioning, opened the door, and smiled at Zhang Yan, "Why are you here?"
"We're here," Chen Shu stood up and walked to the door, smiling.
Mu Anxiao greeted him calmly, "Hello."
"Hello," Chen Shu replied, pushing Feng Qishi aside, "Quick, come in."
Zhang Yan glanced at Mu Anxiao behind him and stepped into the office, saying, "Living it up, huh? Just you in such a big office."
"No, those teachers have gone home," Chen Shu said sheepishly.
Mu Anxiao walked to the desk and looked down at the items on it without speaking.
Feng Qishi walked to Mu Anxiao's side and asked, "Have you made any new discoveries, which is why you've come to find me?"
Mu Anxiao slightly tilted her head to meet Feng Qishi's eyes and said, "I didn't come to find you, I came in with him." She pointed at Zhang Yan.
"Alright," Feng Qishi said with disappointment in his tone, "I thought I could take another vacation."
"Aren't you terminally ill? Just fainting once should do it."
"Let's forget it. If it's like this every week," Feng Qishi sighed, "I haven't died yet, but my homeroom teacher is probably done for."
