Chapter 423: Ch-423: Creating a Divine Rank Technique

As Wang Ming was pondering, he saw multiple fists raining down towards him from all direction.
"Veil of Darkness," Wang Ming muttered as he merged with the shadows and vanished from their sight, then he went towards a corner and launched his attack.
"Ten Thousand Shadow Daggers," he whispered, tossing the Abyssal Dagger directly toward the nearest Titan. At first, the Titan showed disdain, seeing only a small dagger the size of a rice grain hurling toward it. But all of a sudden its body shuddered when an intense sense of dread washed over it. Under its horrified gaze, the single dagger suddenly multiplied, the numbers increasing until thousands of daggers rushed toward it.
Roar!
The Titan groaned as the storm of daggers pierced its chest, its massive body rotting away within seconds.
"So regeneration really is neutralized." Wang Ming watched as the Titan tried to heal the parts turning to dust and rotting away, but the upgraded Abyssal Daggers prevented any recovery.
Woosh
"Hm." Wang Ming noticed the other Titans ignoring the fallen one and charging directly toward him. He used Veil of Darkness again to vanish.
"I need to create a new technique that doesn’t break concealment while attacking," Wang Ming muttered with a frown. The greatest weakness of Veil of Darkness was that attacking while using the technique dispelled the concealment.
"Hey System, can I also merge my weapon and attacks with darkness like my body, and use Veil of Darkness to conceal them while attacking?" Wang Ming asked curiously, convinced it was possible.

Wang Ming’s eyes lit up when he saw the reply from the system.
He closed his eyes and visualized the technique in his mind. The black smoke covering his body began to wrap around the Abyssal Dagger slowly.

He imagined the darkness around him condensing, forming a giant black sword that floated beside him. He linked the sword with his Abyssal Dagger through the darkness, and soon thousands of black swords emerged from the void, each made of pitch-black darkness and oozing with dark smoke appear beside him. The titans could not see them at all for some reason.

"Divine Rank?" Wang Ming’s eyes widened in disbelief when he saw the rank and even rubbed his eyes to check if he was hallucinating. He had expected the technique to be Ancient, or at most Mythic Rank, but never Divine—the highest known rank aside from the legendary Celestial Rank. This was his first Divine Rank technique. He had always assumed he would eventually obtain one from the system, but he never thought he would create one himself.
