Chapter 527 Crisis Event Classification (Part 1)
"Uh… let me ask something…" Feng Bujue chimed in. "That gigantic building over there that's impossible to miss…" He raised his hand and pointed to a distant skyscraper. "What's it for?"
"Oh, that's the government building of Zha Zha Zha Zha Star," Breakdance Man replied. "It's the most famous landmark on the entire planet."
"Then Dr. Shuai is probably inside…" Feng Bujue squinted. "Qiong Qiong Qiong Qiong and Cuo Cuo Cuo Cuo came from that direction, and Cuo Cuo Cuo Cuo ran off that way just now…"
"Hmm… makes sense," Tapdance Man nodded. "No wonder you're a super-intelligence hero."
"Is it that I'm smart or you guys are dumb…" Feng Bujue mentally retorted. "I feel like you've lowered the bar for 'super' and 'intelligence'… Speaking of which, why didn't you just fly the ship directly above that building and jump? Don't tell me it was to avoid anti-air fire… I wouldn't believe you could think that far ahead…"
"Alright, let's head out then," Breakdance Man said.
"Oh, right, wait for me a moment." Jue-ge seemed to suddenly remember something. As he spoke, he walked toward Qiong Qiong Qiong Qiong's corpse.
Breakdance Man and Tapdance Man exchanged glances, wondering what Poker Man wanted to do.
In reality, Feng Bujue simply wanted to loot the corpse…
But he was also clear that Thriller Paradise wasn't the kind of game where monsters dropped treasure upon death. Even if you defeated the script Boss, you might not gain anything.
"So, I really can't take it off…" Feng Bujue groped around Marshal Qiong Qiong Qiong Qiong's body for a good while, but couldn't find anything of value, nor could he remove the other's armor.
Jue-ge discovered that the black armor wasn't "worn" on Qiong Qiong Qiong Qiong's body, but rather "embedded" in it, making it a true "exoskeleton." The only component of the entire suit of armor that could be directly removed was the helmet, but that part had already been destroyed by the Must-Break-Defense Blade, so even the item description couldn't be seen.
"Poker Man… are you looking for something?" Breakdance Man asked after watching from the side for a while.
"Hmm…" Jue-ge reacted quickly. With his acting skills, wit, and ability to spin a yarn, he could fool these two however he wanted. "I wanted to see if this helmet could still be used."
"Oh! I get it!" Tapdance Man interjected. "You want to use the communication device or navigation system inside the helmet to find out Dr. Shuai Shuai Shuai Shuai's location, right?"
"Right, right, right, right!" Feng Bujue took the opportunity and quickly nodded in agreement. "Too bad… the helmet's completely damaged now." He stood up. "We can only take things one step at a time…"
"Don't worry, Poker Man. If we don't have enough information, we'll just spend more time," Breakdance Man said. "Tapdance Man and I are both 'galaxy-level' superheroes. Dealing with C-level incidents is more than enough. Even if there are unexpected situations, they won't pose any threat to us."
"Galaxy-level?" Feng Bujue heard a new term again.
At this moment, Breakdance Man and Tapdance Man already regarded Jue-ge as a future mainstay of the alliance, so they naturally wouldn't hide anything about these common-sense questions. Breakdance Man immediately replied, "Yes, this is the internal classification of superheroes within our Ultra-Universe Alliance. Broadly speaking, it's divided into four levels: city-level, planet-level, galaxy-level, and universe-level."
Tapdance Man added from the side, "Of course, the level isn't just determined by 'combat ability.' For example, 'Toad Man,' even though he doesn't have any superpowers, he's still classified as universe-level because he doesn't need superpowers to do things that many galaxy-level heroes can't."
"Oh, I understand…" Feng Bujue muttered. He then turned around and pointed ahead. "Right, let's talk as we walk." Having gotten to this point, Jue-ge was no longer worried about his safety, so he made this suggestion.
The other two agreed, and so the three of them set off on foot.
"Tell me more about the classification of crisis events. I'm very interested in that too," Feng Bujue continued to ask.
Breakdance Man replied, "Hmm… that's a bit more complicated…" He thought for a few seconds, organized his thoughts, and then said, "From low to high, there are seven levels in total. The lowest is F-level, which refers to 'ordinary criminal activity.' Generally speaking, these are actions that violate the laws of the planet where the incident occurs, such as murder, robbery, theft, and so on. Then there's E-level, which refers to 'criminal activity that could destroy a city,' such as creating giant monsters, releasing viral weapons, or organizing troops to occupy towns. Above that is D-level, which refers to 'criminal activity that could destroy a country.' Although many planets have a unified government, there are also many planets like Earth where multiple countries coexist, so D-level was established. This level is between E and C. If E-level incidents aren't handled properly, they could very well escalate to D-level." He paused at this point. "The above three levels can usually be resolved by one or more local superheroes from the planet where the incident occurs. In most cases, there's no need to dispatch alliance personnel."
Tapdance Man then took over, saying, "As for C-level, you already know, it refers to 'a crisis that is sufficient to destroy a planet,' which is the kind of incident we're currently dealing with."
"Mmm-hmm…" Feng Bujue responded twice, signaling them to continue.
Breakdance Man continued, "C-level incidents, in principle, should still be handled by local heroes, or rather, they have 'priority to take over.' However, city-level heroes are mostly unable to handle this level of incident alone. Therefore, some planets have also established their own superhero alliances. Whenever they encounter a crisis that a single hero can't handle, they will unite."
"Avengers…" Feng Bujue blurted out.
"Hmm, what?" Breakdance Man asked, puzzled.
"Uh…" Jue-ge deduced from the other's reaction… that this universe probably didn't have the Avengers, and not even related comic books. "It's nothing… I just suddenly thought of a good organization name. What do you think of the_Avengers?"
"Ah?" Tapdance Man laughed. "You're really joking. That kind of name doesn't sound like a hero organization at all, does it?"
Breakdance Man added, "Yeah… it sounds more like an organization that supervillains would create. 'Avengers'… what are they trying to avenge? Taking revenge on society?"
Jue-ge gave a dry laugh. "Heh… hehe… never mind I said anything…" He immediately steered the topic back. "Where were we just now? Oh! Right… what if the local heroes can't handle a C-level incident?"
"Then naturally the alliance steps in," Breakdance Man replied. "Some planets have no, or very few, city-level heroes. In this case, as long as the alliance receives the news, they will immediately send someone. In order to resolve the crisis and save more lives as soon as possible, the alliance usually sends someone who's nearby. Of course, to handle a C-level crisis, at least one planet-level hero or above must be in the dispatched individual or team."
As the three of them were talking, they arrived on a main road directly opposite the government building.
"Mie ha ha ha ha…" Suddenly, another burst of loud laughter came.
They saw a line of humanoid mechs neatly arranged in a square formation, marching over with military steps from a hundred meters away. Leading the front of the formation was a short person wearing white armor, and he was the one who was laughing.
"Mie ha ha ha, heroes of the Ultra-Universe Alliance, your road ends here!" the person shouted loudly. "It's your bad luck to run into me, for I am… the great, the evil, the invincible Dr. Shuai Shuai Shuai Shuai's number one general… General Ai Ai Ai Ai!"
"Truly indescribable…" Feng Bujue supported his forehead with one hand and shook his head helplessly. "I've given up on having any expectations for the names of these short people…"
