Intro: Synopsis: Transmigration, perhaps, offers an opportunity for ambitious individuals or regretful, frustrated people to change their lives, allowing them to participate in the grand undertaking of "reviving ruined states and continuing broken lineages."
Transmigration also means that while one can consult several wives when internal matters are undecided, the convenience of asking "Baidu" when external matters are unresolved is gone, the "Marlboro" and "Hongtashan" cigarettes held in the mouth are gone, the "Wuliangye" and "Remy Martin" poured into the glass are gone, and the life-saving and cool-posing tool "Zippo" is gone. Even the desire to eat more flavorful meals is hindered by the absence of "Totole," "Maggi," or "Lee Kum Kee"...
Only after the iron curtain falls across the torrents of time and space will transmigrators realize how much that world is missed and how worthy it is of cherishing.
And the protagonist, Ye Tao, is just one of the many transmigrators. As an industrial designer, a person who has ingrained the quality of life and design concepts into his very bones, he has no choice but to lay out blueprints and recreate everything he can think of... with a little something extra, of course.
