Chapter 1: Pre-Workout to Paradise
"AAARRGGHHH!"
A scream echoed throughout the arena.
A woman was locking down one unlucky man in a classic armbar.
His arm wasn’t even broken yet, but he was already squealing like a pig.
The woman, Dahlia, only grinned at him.
"Want to give up?"
The man frowned. He turned to her and shouted.
"You... you locked my arm from the start! How dare you to cheat!"
Dahlia only shrugged, tightening the hold.
"The ref said start, and you just stood there like a statue. It’s not my fault, you’re caught."
The truth was that the guy had been preparing some flashy flame attack.
But Dahlia was different from others. She simply rushed forward, grabbed his arms, and threw him to the ground.
And now there he was, trapped and confused. He didn’t know how or why the girl was stronger and faster than he was.
The man, being desperate, quickly raged in anger.
"You locked my arm, but I have another one. Now, I’ll burn you for good!"
His free hand quickly lit up in flames, and when he was about to burn her, Dahlia smirked.
She just yanked his arm even harder, hurting him enough to lose his flame.
"AAARRRGGGHHH! DAMN YOU!"
Dahlia only smiled, hearing his scream and cursing words.
"Now, tell me, boy. Once again, I ask you. Do you want to give up?"
The man was a disciple of a famous sect. How can he admit defeat when he hadn’t even inflicted any damage?
"NEVER!"
Dahlia only laughed before turning serious.
"Your choice."
Crack!
Dahlia bent his arm even further until it broke.
His left arm was now bent in a way it was not supposed to.
The pain was also no joke as it made him scream nonstop before passing out cold.
Dahlia only smiled as she stood up, brushing off her hands like it was nothing.
In the elders’ seat, all of them furrowed.
These were the people who had seen countless battles, whether they were spars or really brutal ones.
But they had never seen a battle like this? They couldn’t say what it was like. It was just strange for them.
"What in the world is that move? I never see it or even hear it?" one elder muttered, rubbing his beard.
"Is it some lost martial art? Is it called a forbidden lock?" another one whispered as he began to think more about it.
Their eyes quickly shifted to another person who sat in their area.
It was the girl’s master, Garion. He was also the leader of a newly formed sect, which is why he was a bit mysterious.
"Sir Garion, we never thought that your discipleship would be this strong. May we ask you what technique your disciple is currently using?"
Garion only smiled, leaning back casually.
"Oh, that move? It’s just a classic armbar that I taught her. Nothing so fancy."
The elder blinked in confusion. Their faces basically saying
What the hell is this man talking about? And also, what the hell is an armbar?
Garion only smiled, enjoying their expressions. He clearly knew that these elders wouldn’t understand.
Because it was not the move of this world, hell, he wasn’t even from this world in the first place.
He was just a modern-day personal trainer, a body scientist, and a famous fitness influencer.
Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, he got isekaied here, and just like many other main characters, he got a cheat.
His cheat was basically a system that lets him use his specialty to make his own cultivation path.
Garion’s smile widened as he remembered the day he first arrived in this world.
---
In the modern world, Garion was just doing what he always did.
He just trained like a manic, and after his gruelling set, he drank his own brand of supplement.
And just right after he drank that, he had a heart attack and just dropped to the floor.
When he opened his eyes again, he realised that he wasn’t in his gym.
Instead, he was lying on a bed in a room that looked quite new, but it was just too old school with numerous antique chinese furniture.
Garion sat up, rubbing his forehead in confusion. But suddenly, his head quickly throbbed in pain.
His head was quickly filled with new information, or memories to be exact.
After a few minutes, the pain subsided, and when he opened his eyes, he quickly snorted.
"What the hell is this crap?"
From the new memories, he realised that he was not in his place or even on earth.
He basically got the things that many weebs had wished for their entire life.
He got isekaied to this world of cultivation, not just any normal one, but a mana cultivation world.
"Damn... I never thought that I got this one in a billion chance, or if the chance even exists in the first place."
From what he knew, this mana cultivation world was different.
This world used mana instead of qi, so basically a mix of martial arts and magic.
Garion then stood and walked into the nearest mirror. He flexed his arms and body, which had the same name as him.
"My body is not bad. It was still a young body, and although it was full of fat, I could see lines of muscle. This body should have a really good gene."
His thoughts also began to go to his current reincarnation style.
Was he reincarnated into another body, or are his souls divided and not fused together? But he ignored it.
He stretched his body around and soon smirked.
"Let’s not overthink that reincarnation stuff. The first thing I need to do is to think about how to survive in this world."
"I need to think about just how the mana cultivation in this world works? I am a body scientist after all."
"I’m just wondering just how it works. It must be really interesting."
But then, suddenly, a glowing screen appeared in front of him
[Welcome to God Gym]
Garion froze, blinked twice.
"Is this the legendary starter pack? The thing every isekai MC gets!"
