Chapter 47: The Trip

Chapter 47: Chapter 47: The Trip

With a strong scent of alcohol.

This made Nathan Sawyer very uncomfortable.

Her small face turned crimson, and she instinctively moved to the side.

"Don’t..."

She wanted to open her eyes, but her head was dizzy, her eyelids were heavy, and she couldn’t open them no matter what.

But the man beside her didn’t seem to hear anything, he turned over and pressed her down beneath him.

The temperature in the room kept rising.

A room filled with springtime vibes.

The two of them embraced each other and fell asleep.

The next morning.

Serena Yeats was still dreaming when Elias Lancaster packed her up and took her away.

When Serena Yeats woke up, she found she wasn’t at The Lancaster Family home, and she raised her eyes to see Elias Lancaster standing by the window.

"Elias, where are we?"

Elias Lancaster looked at her confused state and smiled. "Get up quickly and freshen up, I’m taking you out."

"Okay~"

After freshening up, she came out and saw Nanny Livingston fiddling with breakfast.

"Nanny Livingston, you came too," Serena Yeats said with surprise, "Happy New Year!"

"Happy New Year, Young Madam!"

Serena Yeats ate breakfast while softly asking Elias Lancaster.

"Elias, why didn’t Nanny Livingston go home for the New Year?"

"Nanny Livingston’s husband passed away in a car accident when she was young, she never remarried, and has a son studying abroad."

"Oh..."

Then she remembered,

"Elias, I forgot to give Dad and Mom their red envelopes. I prepared them yesterday, but then... I forgot." Serena Yeats was so nervous she was about to cry, afraid of leaving a bad impression on his parents for being impolite.

"It’s okay, I already gave them," Elias Lancaster reached out and patted her head, comforting her.

"I should have been the one to give them," Serena Yeats felt somewhat downcast.

Elias Lancaster coaxed her for quite a while before she felt better.

An hour later.

The amusement park parking lot.

Serena Yeats looked up; it was a huge amusement park, but...

She reached and touched her belly, it was already so big, would it be safe to play these?

Elias Lancaster held her hand, got out of the car, and walked inside.

Behind them was Nanny Livingston, carrying a large bag full of Serena Yeats’s belongings, food, and toys.

Behind them were a male and female bodyguard.

Entering the amusement park security gate.

Serena Yeats’s hand slipped away from Elias Lancaster’s hand.

Elias Lancaster watched the excited person ahead.

She wore a blue down jacket, revealing slender legs, petite and cute.

"Elias, I want that," Serena Yeats pointed to a fox doll placed on the balloon shooting stall and said.

Elias Lancaster stepped forward, patted her head, "Okay."

"Sean, pay."

Male bodyguard Sean Scott immediately stepped forward to scan the QR code and pay.

"Boss, how many shots to win this doll?" Elias Lancaster asked.

"Hit all twenty shots."

"Okay."

Then Elias Lancaster picked up the gun and aimed at the balloons.

Serena Yeats only heard the gun sound and balloons bursting, and in the blink of an eye, all twenty balloons were hit.

"Congratulations, all twenty hit, this doll is yours."

Elias Lancaster took the doll and handed it to Serena Yeats.

Serena Yeats hugged the fox, her long hair fluttering in the wind.

When she walked under the Ferris wheel, she turned and looked at Elias Lancaster, and the female bodyguard Nia Irving quickly pressed the shutter, capturing the moment.

When she turned, her face was all joy, her smile held innocence that touched hearts.

"Such a cute girl really attracts affection, no wonder The Grayson Family isn’t willing to let go."

Elias Lancaster’s face darkened upon hearing this, his eyes warned Nia Irving and Sean Scott.

They realized they had misspoken and quickly lowered their heads.

Elias Lancaster did not speak; he had indeed put a lot of effort into making The Grayson Family stop having any thoughts.

"Elias, can we take photos together?"

Serena Yeats walked towards Elias Lancaster, smiling as she asked.

Elias Lancaster nodded, reached out to hold Serena Yeats’s hand, stood in front of a heart-shaped background, and found the right angle.

At this moment, Serena Yeats felt this was truly their first real photo together.

All previous photos were candid shots, they never seriously took a photo together.

Elias Lancaster looked towards the lens, his lips curved upwards.

Serena Yeats’s smile was pure, radiant, with gentle sweetness.

Sean Scott quickly pressed the shutter button, capturing this beautiful moment.

Afterwards, Elias Lancaster stood behind Serena Yeats, wrapped his arms around her, placed his hands on her belly, with his chin resting on her left side of the head, his eyes gently looking down at her belly.

Serena Yeats slightly tilted her head to look at him, eyes filled with happiness.

Sean Scott felt this scene was absolutely beautiful because Elias Lancaster was exuding warmth and love from head to toe.

Elias Lancaster became mature at a young age, his deep thoughts and scheming nature weren’t just hearsay, yet his upbringing was very good, just his whole aura was cold.

To put it simply, he hadn’t met the right person.

Now that he met the right person, he became entirely different.

Previously, the things he disliked most were taking photos and smiling.

His change was indeed significant.

Serena Yeats and Elias Lancaster took many photos, capturing all the beautiful scenery in the amusement park, then she continued to drag Nanny Livingston, Nia Irving, and Sean Scott to take photos together.

Finally, she even pulled Sean Scott up, and they asked a passerby to help take the photo.

Afterwards, the group boarded the park’s sightseeing bus to head to the restaurant for lunch.

When Serena Yeats woke up from her noon rest, she was already on the plane.

She woke up looking bewildered.

Eyes blankly staring at Elias Lancaster.

"Awake? Are you hungry?"

Elias Lancaster gently asked.

She shook her head and looked out of the window, realizing she was on a plane, shocked.

"We’re going abroad for a bit."

Going abroad?

She had never been abroad, nor flown before; so that’s what flying felt like.

After several hours of flight, Elias Lancaster occasionally asked her if she felt uncomfortable anywhere; although the doctor repeatedly said it shouldn’t be a problem, he still felt a bit worried.

After arriving at their destination, Elias Lancaster took her to a restaurant with a modern style environment.

Serena Yeats’s English was quite good, she directly ordered the food she liked, and also ordered what Elias Lancaster enjoyed.

She even ordered for Nanny Livingston, Nia Irving, and Sean Scott.

She looked up and found them all staring at her.

She touched her face, softly asked, "Is there something on my face?"

"No, Serena, your English pronunciation is very standard, very impressive." Elias Lancaster’s eyes carried admiration as he praised her.

Serena Yeats smiled, "I’m actually a top student."

"Haha..." Nia Irving and Sean Scott couldn’t hold back and laughed.

"Elias, what are they laughing at?" Serena Yeats asked.
