Chapter 207: Chapter 55 Yang Xintian: Uncle Sun, don’t touch my wife!_3

"How could you touch her cheek?"

"Oh, that? I saw a grain of rice on the corner of her mouth and wiped it off. What’s wrong? Can’t I even do that?" Sun Dasheng retorted.

"Nonsense! There was no rice. You’re just making things up," Yang Xintian said, very displeased.

"You were so far away, how would you know?" Sun Dasheng looked at Xiang Zixuan, who was lowering her head in shyness. "Zi Xuan, tell Tian Tian, was there rice or not?"

At that moment, as if struck by inspiration, Xiang Zixuan instantly understood what he meant.

She looked up and gently pushed away Yang Xintian, who was shielding her. "Tian Tian, Uncle Sun is telling the truth. I did have a grain of rice on my mouth. He was just helping me get it off, that’s all."

"Really?" Although Yang Xintian was still suspicious, what could she say when the person involved had said so herself?

"Uncle Sun, I’m going to the restroom for a moment." Xiang Zixuan hurried off, her face beet red as she clamped her legs together.

Watching her retreating figure, Yang Xintian raised a small fist threateningly. "Uncle Sun, don’t you get any ideas about Zi Xuan. She’s mine!"

The next second, her entire body was lifted into the air, her legs kicking about wildly.

"Uncle Sun, what are you doing? Put me down! Right now!"

"You little brat! Daring to threaten your Uncle Sun? It seems I need to teach you what’s what."

Then, her little backside received a heavy smack. This time, Sun Dasheng didn’t hold back. It hurt so much that tears welled up in her eyes.

Finally, she threw her arms around his neck, hanging off him while pummeling his chest with her little fists.

"You horrible uncle! Mean uncle! Hitting my butt, and so hard! It hurts so much!"

When Xiang Zixuan returned, the two of them were chatting and laughing while eating dessert.

Yang Xintian even waved at her happily. "Zi Xuan, the candied banana here is amazing! Hurry, or Uncle Sun is going to eat it all."

She personally fed Xiang Zixuan a bite and asked insistently, "How is it? It’s delicious, right?"

"Mhm, it’s pretty good."

"Why do I feel like you’re acting strange? You seem a bit distracted."

"Are you okay? You were in the restroom for a long time. It’s not... that time of the month, is it?" she whispered in her ear.

Xiang Zixuan calmly shook her head. "No, it’s not what you think."

But inside, she was far from calm. She had never had her cheek touched by a boy before, and the moment Uncle Sun’s fingers made contact, it felt like an electric shock. Her entire body tingled, and a sudden urge to pee washed over her. She didn’t understand why her reaction was so intense. Even if you’ve never eaten pork, you’ve seen a pig run. There were so many romance dramas on TV, and she had never seen a female lead have such an extreme reaction to the male lead touching her face. Could she be sick? She started to worry.

"It’s still early. Want to go for a walk on the athletic field?" Yang Xintian suggested, noticing her best friend’s low spirits.

"Uncle Sun, you probably have other things to do, so I won’t invite you."

Sun Dasheng watched in amusement as she blinked her eyes emphatically, looking as if they might just fly away.

"Alright. The path to your school doesn’t seem to have any streetlights, and it’s pitch-black. I’ll see you the rest of the way."

That works! As long as he doesn’t disturb my and Zi Xuan’s private time on the field, he’s a good uncle in my book.

After settling the bill, they walked through the small alleys. There were supposed to be streetlights here, but someone with idle hands had evidently broken quite a few of them. None were lit.

"Didn’t your school arrange for someone to fix them?" Sun Dasheng asked, looking up at the broken streetlights.

"They did, but they just keep getting vandalized. The school is planning to install security cameras before replacing the lights. We’ll see who dares to break them then." There was a hint of dissatisfaction in Yang Xintian’s voice. This area being so dark meant she had to find someone to go with her if she wanted to grab a late-night snack. Despite dressing like a tough girl boss every day, even she didn’t dare walk these streets alone.

"Oh? I didn’t think a little brat like you was afraid of anything," Sun Dasheng chuckled.

"Hmph! A bunch of loafers hang around here every day. I’m a girl, of course I’m scared!" Annoyed by his teasing, Yang Xintian’s voice grew louder.

"Heh heh heh... Did you hear that, boys? The little chick says we’re loafers."

A few shiftless-looking young men suddenly appeared in the alley. They seemed to have overheard Yang Xintian. They closed in, their expressions menacing.

"These two chicks are pretty hot..."

"Looks like our lucky day, running into a couple of prime catches. Go easy on them, boys. We don’t want to break them."

"Boss, you go first. After you’re done, let me have a taste."

"Uncle Sun!" Yang Xintian cried out, hiding nervously behind Sun Dasheng. The hooligans’ lewd comments terrified her. It was dark, and there were no security cameras. This was even scarier than what she had encountered at the bar.

"You really are a jinx," Sun Dasheng said without even glancing at the punks in front of him, not missing the chance to tease Yang Xintian again.

"Uncle Sun, how can you joke at a time like this? What are we going to do?" She was panicking but didn’t forget to pull Xiang Zixuan behind him as well.

"What are we going to do..." Sun Dasheng looked up, a mocking expression on his face as he stared at the hooligans. "She’s asking me what to do. What do you guys think?"

His question made the hooligans roar with laughter.

"If I were you, I’d dump these two chicks and run for my life. Now scram!"

"Of course, if you want to play the hero and save the damsels in distress, we can oblige. You’ll just have to be more careful in your next life."

The two girls behind him grew even more nervous, on the verge of tears. Their hands gripped his sleeves tightly, refusing to let go, terrified that their Uncle Sun would take the advice and abandon them.

Sun Dasheng slowly took off his jacket, then unstrapped the watch from his wrist and handed it to Xiang Zixuan. He pinched her cheek gently and said, "Hold on to this for your uncle, okay? I’ll be right back."
