Gods Vanish on a Cloudy Day

Volume 9 Closing Remarks (End of Volume Updated)

Last month, if you don't count the leave I took at the end of each volume, plus the extra chapters, it really amounted to 10,000 words a day. And in the first seven days of this month, I've already updated 73,000 words. If it weren't for the big uproar at Yuewen these past few days, given my frequency of updating 45,000 words in the first three days, I'd probably be at the end of the volume already...

The "God of Return" volume is where the protagonist thoroughly progresses and sublimates, and begins to contemplate what is uniquely correct for him. I am very satisfied with the content, whether it's the reasoning, plot, or characters, all are depicted in depth. Even for the minor supporting characters, I actually designed quite a bit. For example, Old Chuck, who only serves to introduce the plot and reform, is paired with High Priest Edmund. I actually wrote nearly two thousand words of character plot settings, a whole reincarnation world of rural love stories.

This volume learned from the mistakes of the previous "Heaven Tilting Northwest" volume, and the response is indeed better than the previous one. I tried my best to expand all the elements that could be expanded, to avoid the hollowness of the previous volume, but there are still many shortcomings. Some places seem complicated, and some places still seem rushed, which is unavoidable.

Some characters who were originally more symbolic were not presented well, and can only be compensated for in the future... Fortunately, I'm writing a long story.

It can only be said that writing and creating is indeed a work that requires diligence and continuous reflection. Just like the innovation described in the book, it requires constant reflection and frequent innovation. Without acknowledging one's mistakes, it is impossible to improve.

Later today, there should be an extra chapter. Of course, it's all free. After all, extra chapters are mostly from the perspective of non-protagonists, and some things that I purely personally like to add randomly are not only heavily filled with personal opinions but also extremely egoistic. I would feel ashamed to charge for them. If you think it's well-written, monthly tickets and recommendation tickets are enough.

That's about the situation. The update of the extra chapter will be a little later because I've been up all night, and I need to sleep first.

In short, thank you all for reading. The story of the next volume will be even more exciting—by the way, please ask for a monthly ticket. Today is the last day of double monthly tickets, so if you don't vote, you really won't have a chance.

Currently, I owe 7 chapters. I rarely owe updates, but don't worry, I'll pay them back slowly.
