Gods Vanish on a Cloudy Day

Chapter 13 New and Old Hunkun (Large Chapter!)

Chapter 944 New and Old Húntian (W-Word Mega Chapter!)

[Lord Hóngshǐ, a ripple of the Great Flood has been detected.]

[The outburst is located in the Great Temporal Flow Zone. It began with the Zhúzhòu Lord's fluctuation, then another Great Flood appeared. Not long after, five brand-new Great Flood fluctuations surged from the ‘Sanmí Chén Zone’, ‘Sùmíng Hòutǔ’, ‘Great Prophecy Book Cycle’, ‘Illusionary Realm’, and ‘Primordial Hazy Sea’. Currently, they are all rushing towards the Great Temporal Flow Zone. Their purpose is temporarily unknown, but…]

Inside Zhúzhòu Heaven.

Hóngshǐ, who was improving the internal structure of Zhúzhòu Heaven, commonly known as doing the grunt work, frowned and put down the creation essence he had just condensed. This black-haired, red-eyed Dao-Integrating powerhouse turned his head to look at the equally solemn Tàishǐ Sacred Lord on the other side.

Without Tàishǐ Sacred Lord needing to continue, they both understood that these Great Flood powerhouses who had never appeared since ancient times, suddenly running out en masse, could only be because of one person.

Naturally, it was because of their immediate superior, the Primal Zhúzhòu who had already begun seriously policing the multiverse!

[Where did he provoke so many Great Floods from… Over the past tens of millions of years, I've only heard a little about them, but he can actually attract six Great Floods to besiege him at once…]

Although he hadn't seen it with his own eyes yet, who was Hóngshǐ? He could guess the process. There must be something in the Húntian Realm that Sū Zhòu couldn't stand, so he angrily took action, attracting the hidden old monsters in Húntian to act – all the Dao-Integrating experts in the entire multiverse had speculated that there were probably Great Floods lurking in Húntian. Now, Sū Zhòu had merely confirmed it.

Although he had only just entered the Great Flood realm, the Great Flood was inherently infinite. Once one reached the Great Flood realm, there was no such thing as coming earlier or later. The power of both sides was infinite at the same level, unless one side could better release their infinite power and influence the multiverse.

Hóngshǐ wasn't joking. He had personally experienced Sū Zhòu's Dao techniques and divine powers, and he understood how terrifying those supreme great divine powers would be if driven by infinite power.

One ordinary Great Flood might not be enough for him to fight.

But six…

[Perhaps even six aren't enough for him to fight.]

Hóngshǐ said to Tàishǐ, [But to be safe, let's activate the second contingency plan.]

[Yes.] Tàishǐ naturally wouldn't have any objections.

The sealed multiverse was divided into many regions and areas, which were collections of primal world clusters. For example, the ‘Great Ash Zone’, ‘Extremely Dark Zone’, ‘Dragon Serpent World Cluster’, ‘Void Land’, and ‘Great Emptiness Segment’, etc., were all summaries that categorized the situation of a multiverse.

Naturally, these sections also had distinctions between danger and tranquility, strength and weakness… Although in the void turmoil of the convergence of all realms, many of the original world clusters had merged together, the larger sections hadn't changed much.

And the ‘Sanmí Chén Zone’, ‘Sùmíng Hòutǔ’, ‘Great Prophecy Book Cycle’, ‘Illusionary Realm’, and ‘Primordial Hazy Sea’ these five sections… were actually quite unknown in the multiverse – they had neither particularly strong experts nor particularly dangerous anomalies, but they were indeed unique enough to have their own names.

In the Sanmí Chén Zone, the size of the worlds was impossible to observe. A universe that looked incredibly vast might be an appendage of another universe as small as dust. Entering a subtle and infinitely small plane might actually be entering an infinitely large universe. And two worlds that seemed completely unrelated, located at opposite ends of the zone, might actually be connected internally. One world contained another world, and the contained world contained several more worlds…

The Sanmí Chén Zone was just that strange. Many civilization's exploration teams had come to this place, wanting to understand the root of this multiverse's spacetime anomalies, but they all returned empty-handed in the end, leaving with relatively generous rewards.

Who would have thought that there was actually a Great Flood sleeping here? And that the surrounding endless world clusters were surging with the thoughts and Dao rhythms of that Great Flood?

Similarly, Sùmíng Hòutǔ was also an extremely unique world cluster. In this section, void storms condensed as solid matter enveloped all the worlds in the void. Even during the Ice Condensation Void period, these storms were only slightly slower, but they still existed.

These void storms never hurt people, but they could never be spied on either. They were endless and without beginning or end, like mountains and rivers, circulating between the various worlds, interacting and exchanging the factors of different worlds, forming an extremely complex storm cycle.

Sùmíng Hòutǔ welcomed guests, but basically no one could come out of it. Occasionally, a few Dao-Integrating experts came out, narrated the internal cycling possibilities, and then returned to it, surprising the Dao-Integrating experts of other regions and regarding this place as a forbidden zone.

The Great Prophecy Book Cycle was not a region, but a multiverse-level phenomenon that was constantly spreading – in the worlds affected by the Great Prophecy Book Cycle, a ‘White Prophecy Book’ and a ‘Black Prophecy Book’ would appear. The White Prophecy Book predicted all possible successes and transcendences in the future, while the Black Prophecy Book predicted the destruction and rebirth of all spacetime in this world. The beings living in the world could push the progress bars of the Black and White Prophecy Books with their own efforts, and as the progress bars were pushed, they would receive various rewards and blessings from the Prophecy Books.

Currently, no world has been able to complete the progress bars of the Black and White Prophecy Books, even if the Dao Integration peak wholeheartedly and single-mindedly leads the world to become better, or destroys the universe spacetime, it is still impossible to bring this progress bar to one hundred percent.

It wouldn't be strange for a Great Flood to appear here. Almost everyone believed that this abnormal influence was spreading because of the Great Dao of the Great Flood. People didn't feel anything unusual, simply because the influence of the Great Flood was too broad.

As for the ‘Illusionary Realm’ and the ‘Primordial Hazy Sea’, they were somewhat similar. In these two sections, entrants found it difficult to figure out what was real and what was illusionary.

The former would be impacted and enveloped by a continuous stream of dream worlds. Although they were dreamlike worlds, one could bring out powerful dream-like props from them, such as the ‘Anywhere Door that can be opened to go to any area of the multiverse’, or the ‘Wishing Phone Booth that can change the possibilities of the entire universe with just a wish’… These props all possessed the great power of Dao-Integrating experts. Although they couldn't be used too many times, they were almost unrestricted when they could be used, and even ordinary people could use them.

The latter, the Primordial Hazy Sea, didn't have so many adventures. In the Hazy Sea, those who arrived in this section wouldn't feel anything unusual, as if they had come to an ordinary world cluster, but the second time they came, they would find that the world they had visited in the past had been restored, or that their experience had become a legend, or that it seemed like they had never been there at all. And the longer they stayed in this section, the more self-derivatives would appear in the other worlds within this section.

It was said that a Celestial God who had strayed into it had stayed in the Hazy Sea for three thousand years. When he left this place and returned to his hometown, the world of the entire Hazy Sea had already produced countless ‘Celestial Gods’, repeating what He had done in the past three thousand years in many illusory and hazy worlds.

Some people had speculated that there were Great Floods sleeping in these five major sections, and some had been listed as dangerous forbidden zones, but no one would have thought that all of them actually had Great Floods behind them.

[It's time to go.]

Six different Great Floods intended to besiege the Primal Zhúzhòu. Although Hóngshǐ didn't think Sū Zhòu needed any help, thinking was one thing, and actually doing it was another: [Take Zhúzhòu Heaven with us. This guy, going out to police, doesn't even bring his main body.]

[Huh?!] Hearing this, Tàishǐ Sacred Lord turned back in astonishment. He lowered his head to look at the Zhúzhòu Heaven under his feet, his eyes horrified: [This is Zhúzhòu's main body?!]

[He can fight Great Floods even without his main body…]

[Oh, not entirely.] Hóngshǐ shook his head, interrupting Tàishǐ Sacred Lord's shock. He explained simply: [The power of the Great Flood surpasses what you and I can imagine. Merely thoughts are enough to shake the heavens and myriad worlds – conversely, whichever area of the Great Flood is shaking the multiverse, that place is its main body.]

[Sū Zhòu going to Húntian is naturally the main body, and Zhúzhòu Heaven can also shake multiple spacetime, so it is also the main body.]

Explaining it like this, Hóngshǐ the Great Emperor seemed to recall the matter-of-course tone Sū Zhòu had when he communicated with him back then.

[He said…] Smiling, Hóngshǐ the Great Emperor couldn't help but shake his head: [He said to me,]

Closing his eyes with emotion, the man laughed: ["—Why can't a Great Flood have two, three, or even countless main bodies?"]

[Is Zhúzhòu such an inconvenient thing?]

At this very moment.

Húntian Realm.

As Sū Zhòu's power intervened in the union of the Five Supreme Sages and the spirit of Húntian, he was actually going to merge with the Great Flood incarnated by the Five Supreme Sages of Húntian and become a brand-new Great Flood.

The Great Flood formed by the Five Supreme Sages was not inferior to any Great Flood, and had no weaknesses. The gaps that were imagined to appear in the combination did not exist from the beginning, or rather, combining to become a Great Flood was the obvious right path of ‘coordination’, so naturally there could be no mistakes.

But even so, under the cleaving of Sū Zhòu's Extinction Blade, the power bodies of the Five Supreme Sages and a part of Húntian were shattered. The infinite great power of the Great Flood fell under the suppression of another infinite power, collapsing and reverting into tangible six-colored divine light. The lonely void was illuminated in an instant, and even the eternal capital was illuminated.

No, it wasn't just pure suppression – Sū Zhòu's power climbed along the light and shadow of the divine power of the Five Supreme Sages, finding the moment when their divine power had not yet merged to become the Great Flood – because Sū Zhòu had also become the Sixth Supreme Sage of the Five Supreme Sages at that moment, so he had the opportunity to interfere.

It's normal for the Five Supreme Sages to have a sixth person, right?

Before the divine power of the Five Supreme Sages Great Flood was achieved, Sū Zhòu caused this divine power to collapse, and then replaced it himself as the core!

Brilliant light pierced through many spacetime. The powers of the two Great Floods clashed, but they also intertwined and merged – for a time, even the Five Supreme Sages couldn't tell whether they were being integrated into Zhúzhòu's thoughts, or whether Zhúzhòu was being absorbed by them.

If it were an ordinary peak Dao-Integrating expert, even if they possessed infinite and absolute power, being washed over by Sū Zhòu like this would probably instantly fall into the Tribulation of Losing Self, and would no longer be able to figure out who they were.

[Dó! Retreat!]

But the Five Supreme Sages were indeed among the top powerhouses in this multiverse. The leader, Qianyuán Dao Lord, didn't even have a moment of confusion. He saw through all of Sū Zhòu's methods and shouted: [Fellow Daoists, guard your origins! Although Primal Zhúzhòu is strong, he cannot take away our original intentions!]

The other Supreme Sages were no less inferior to Qianyuán Dao Lord, and they also broke free.

In the next instant, the Zhúzhòu who intended to demonize… Dao-taint the Five Supreme Sages was separated. Although the two sides were still intertwined, they could no longer infect each other.

[Primal Zhúzhòu, although you are strong, you are not evil enough. If you were evil enough to tamper with our thoughts, perhaps we would need some time to return to normal.]

Qióngyuán Sage exhaled. His eyes were bright at this moment: [Since you are also not an evil person, why are you unwilling to believe us?]

"Of course I won't do the evil deed of tampering with thoughts. This is a matter of principle. At most, I'll wash your brains with the Zhúzhòu Sutra."

Sū Zhòu was not annoyed by the failure. On the contrary, he laughed: "As for being evil or not… Whether you are doing good deeds that turn out badly, or if it's a truly necessary sacrifice, I have to see it with my own eyes."

[If you want to see it, it's not impossible, but…]

Saint Yǎn Celestial spoke. He always liked to fulfill other people's wishes – although some people just liked to seek death, there was nothing he could do – this gentle and handsome young Celestial said: [You still have to become…]

"Húntian, right? I've appreciated it enough." Sū Zhòu waved his hand. He didn't want to listen to this repetitive nonsense.

The Primal Zhúzhòu smiled: "Just now, I have already gone to see it."

"The Zhúzhòus have already gone to witness it with their own eyes."

[What?]

The Five Supreme Sages were stunned. Theoretically, Zhúzhòu couldn't interfere with them at all. Even in the most critical moment just now, the Five Supreme Sages still guarded their original intentions. The secrets inside Húntian were still not exposed, and the Primal Zhúzhòu still couldn't see anything.

"Listen."

But at this moment, Sū Zhòu put his hands behind his back. He no longer adopted an attacking posture, but the sense of danger rose sharply in the Five Supreme Sages: "You are ultimately not Great Floods at all times, so you naturally don't understand what a Great Flood truly is…"

"But I tell you, a Great Flood is a thought, a Great Flood is an impulse, a Great Flood is a wisp of meaning of life, and it is also a proof of emptiness and reality."

He stared at the ‘Great Flood’ in front of him. Sū Zhòu's gaze seemed to cross the Five Supreme Sages, staring at Húntian, and the myriad beings in the Húntian Realm: "A Great Flood is the prototype of transcendence – it can be infinitely eternal (infinite), it can be eternally existent without origin (eternal), or it can be eternally true without falsehood (absolute)!"

"Although it is not perfect yet, although it needs endless and infinite changes to be achieved, the Great Flood is already close to everything!"

"Just as there is also chaos and perfection in my heart, and countless truths – Five Supreme Sages, including you!"

"In the hearts of all beings, there is Zhúzhòu!"

The Great Dao is formless, giving birth to heaven and earth.

The Great Dao is ruthless, operating the sun and moon.

The Great Dao is nameless, nourishing all things.

Its name is unknown, but it is forcibly named Dao.

——Húntian Realm·First Era——

——Era of No Dao——

This was a dark world, without sun, stars, or moon. All things quietly hibernated in the almost lightless darkness, wriggling to survive.

The reason it was said to be almost lightless was because there was still some light in the sky. In that dim blackness, there was a deep dark sun, faintly flickering with gray-white light.

It was said that in the distant past, there were sun, moon, and stars in the sky and earth. At that time, people worked at sunrise and rested at sunset, but with an unprecedented heavenly change, all the stars fell in tremors. Incredible destruction descended on everything, and even the light was lost.

Since then, only the dark sun had some light.

But this light wasn't always there. Sometimes, it would appear more than ten times in a short period of time, and sometimes, there would be no light for a very long time, a year or two.

When the light appeared, snow would fall from the sky. This snow was also food, tasteless but able to fill the stomach, and was the only remaining resource in the dark world – without sun, moon, and stars, no crops could grow, and people could only rely on past accumulations, searching for useful resources from the ruins.

Or…

Cannibalism.

This was a world without morality, without ethics, and without the Great Dao. It was a world on the verge of death, eroded to almost nothing but an empty shell – because of the awakening of the most ancient taboo, the entire Húntian Great Realm was on the verge of extinction.

Heaven and earth were about to die, but people were still alive. Perhaps it was because of the kindness of the ancient gods, or the compassion of the Celestials, they tried their best to allow humble beings to survive in that supreme disaster, but they never thought that such compassion and kindness would also create the most terrifying fruit of this world.

Others were hell. The light flickering in their eyes contained hope, but also carried the determination and greed to kill. After losing everything, humans ultimately abandoned their humanity. In the dark night, in the long thirst brought by the lack of food, the remaining humans devoured each other. They burned bones, lit bonfires, watered mushrooms with blood, shaped candles with oil, gnawed on the few remaining oil residues in the marrow, and swallowed the maggots and cockroaches wriggling in the corpses.

Slaughter, rape, plunder, hatred, resentment, futile resistance, desperate pleas, and silent blood.

In a world that was already dying, proud people also became carrion-eating microbes. If it weren't for the grace of ‘snow from the sky’, this group would have completely perished.

There was a pair of young children, struggling in such a world.

How cruel their parents were, to actually give birth in such an evil world. What qualifications did they have to bring children into the world? What right did parents have to bring two people with self-will into such a world? Where there was life, there was death, and where there was will, there was pain. Life didn't want pain, why should life agree to this painful future descending on itself?

The real pain was that living itself was painful, and in this pain, one couldn't even find someone to blame.

If this nature and heaven and earth still had will, still had Dao-Integrating experts, still had the heavens, perhaps they could answer these children's confusion, but now this broken heaven and earth couldn't answer this question. They couldn't say what was right, and they couldn't tell the truth of love.

These children, perhaps brothers and sisters, perhaps older sister and younger brother, perhaps brothers, perhaps sisters. They had seen all kinds of suffering in this world. In this dark world, countless hungry and brutal people killed each other. They peeled off flesh, licked the blood flowing on the ground like a river, and chewed and crushed bone fragments piled up like mountains.

They saw the strong and powerful wielding sharp whips, driving livestock like ants with their limbs on the ground, crawling on the ground in humiliation. They held naked female bodies in their arms, laughing wildly as they drank the blood of slaves, and roasted the flesh and blood of their kind that had been cut into pieces.

"Why?"

"Why is this world like this?"

The children were unfortunate to be born into this world. They were unfortunate to know the ethics, they were unfortunate to understand the principles, and they were also unfortunate to be born as humans, so they knew the meaning of propriety, justice, integrity, and shame, and the meaning of morality – so they were always confused, always puzzled, always angry, and always powerless.

They didn't understand, and they didn't understand. They just vaguely had a premonition that even if they really fell into darkness, even if the world really fell into darkness, even if the heaven and earth were destroyed, humans could still use their own methods to live – it wouldn't be so depraved, so chaotic, so humble and despicable.

Their only pain was that in the dark age, they still yearned for light.

They looked forward to a better world… They wanted to create a better world.

But, they didn't have the power.

And now, power had come.

Infinite power… an infinite power called Zhúzhòu…

Like spiritual energy, an endless and without beginning or end infinite power…

——Since when did humans have an illusion?

That was that they were cultivating, they were pursuing power, they were comprehending the Dao, and they were understanding the truth of the world.

Too arrogant, not humble at all.

Communication was mutual, interaction with heaven and earth, and cultivation among all things in the world. Why wasn't it power pursuing people, Dao comprehending people, and truth understanding a newly born will in this world?

The unity of heaven and man, carrying together with the earth – but who defined heaven? Who defined earth? Who defined Dao? Who defined truth?

Who defined you and me, and who defined who was who?

What was oneself?

——Those who could answer these questions were only the most arrogant people.

——Only those who were arrogant enough to think that they were correct, that they were infinite, and that they were eternal and absolute.

The Great Flood surged.

The children didn't know all of this, they only knew that infinite power was descending.

People pursued spiritual energy, and spiritual energy also pursued people. They were all mutual hunters, and they were all comprehending the essence of the other. Their mutual pursuit was cruel and without emotion, like a hawk and a hunting dog catching a rabbit.

Just like now, the children craved ‘Zhúzhòu’, and ‘Zhúzhòu’ was also waiting for such children.

[Go.]

One could vaguely hear such a voice: [Go and carry out your will, witness the truth of this world.]

[Go and make this world better.]

Thus, they were blessed.

As long as someone desired to make all things in the world better, the infinite power of Zhúzhòu would descend – just as cultivators who cultivated spiritual energy yearned for self-peace and tranquility, spiritual energy would converge towards them, just as the dependents of great beings craved the correct direction, the supreme divine power would flow down into the world.

People craved correctness, and correctness was also craving people.

Thus, the children opened their eyes, they looked up, and gazed at this world.

In this cruel and eventually shattered heaven and earth, the lowest level was those nameless people scattered in the wilderness, like the children, they were cockroaches, maggots, the food plundered by others, and the food walking on the ground. They would kill for a little water, they would kill for a little snow from the sky, they would kill for the corpses of others, they would kill for the sake of killing, they were beasts more beastly than beasts.

The next level up was those domesticated livestock, they had no self, they were tamed beasts, they could eat, they could drink, they were driven by others, they had no direction of their own, but because of this, they would eventually be eaten for their meat and blood, becoming bone fragments chewed and crushed on the streets.

The next level up was slaves. If livestock completely gave up their self, then slaves still had self, but they were no different from livestock. They would become materials for cultivation, they would become tools for venting anger that could be killed at will, they would become blood bags that others could take as they needed. They might grow old, or they might be blessed and get rid of this identity, but in the end, they would not be autonomous and had no freedom.

The next level up was hired commoners. They planted mushrooms, raised blood grass, and transported supplies, day after day. Although they had freedom, it was only the freedom to work. They had no rules to restrain them, but they had resources that made it impossible for them to do anything.

The next level up was commoners. They could do any job, they could marry and have children. If they gave up all desires and stopped thinking about what happiness was, then perhaps they could also breed the next generation, so that they wouldn't be slaves from birth. They were the backbone of this apocalypse, and the core supporting the operation of the entire Era of No Dao.

The next level up was craftsmen. Whether it was skinning and taking bones, or removing flesh and digging out hearts, or repairing tools, or casting swords and plows… They were indispensable, the core and the best tools.

The next level up was those most basic cultivators. They came from commoners and hired commoners. Those with cultivation talent were given resources to act as supervisors of the tamed livestock, and were the stewards who reprimanded the slaves.

The next level up was the real cultivators, the cultivators born in the cultivator families who created the order of this world. They were the backbone of the rule, the symbol of force, and the apex of violence and power.

And the top level was the world itself, the strongest people at the top of those flesh and blood towers. For their own cultivation, for their own survival, they twisted the entire world into the way they wanted. They created the nine-story tower steps, and created these nine layers of hell, simply because it was convenient for them, and they were willing to.

Above them, only the dark sun shone with light.

But none of this was light.

None of this was the end.

The ‘Unending Eyes’ shone, the children raised their heads, gazing at the sky, gazing at the root of why this world had become like this.

Thus, the children's eyes penetrated the endless haze, and penetrated the countless dimness. Their eyes crossed those nine layers of airtight, suffocating tower steps, and crossed layers and layers of clouds, directly reaching above the high sky.

Then, they saw it.

The truth of that ‘dark sun’.

That was an eyeball.

An eye that had long been dried up, withered, decayed, dripping with pus and tears.

A giant god who had long since died, lying prostrate in the ‘void’, His eyes.

Heaven and earth had long been destroyed – with the resurrection of the supreme taboo, the Húntian Great Realm had already been completely destroyed. Inside the hollow world, there was only a chaotic nothingness. Fragments of the ancient world were shattered by the scouring of spacetime turbulence in the void. The corpses of the Celestials of the past floated in it, emitting the last light, like those lonely stars in the endless void.

In the endless chaos, endless Primordial Chaos Gods were being conceived and born from the dead world.

They were going to reshape all things in the world, and turn everything into ‘taboo’.

This giant god had no left arm, no legs, and had already been reduced to ashes below his chest. Even his head had decayed, but he still tried his best to protect the fragments of the world in the palm of his right hand, protecting them in the center of his chest, and using his last eyes, he lowered his eyes to gaze at the fragile fragments that could be broken at any time.

——How painful.

——Is it really right for me to protect them and let them live in such a painful world?

——I didn't ask them if they agreed, and I just took the liberty of preserving them. Is this act really as great as I imagined?

The giant god could know the future. He was a Dao-Integrating Lord, He was both man and Dao, a supreme God who had understood the truth and didn't distinguish between Dao and self – even if he was about to die, he could still see through all the truths of the future, knowing what kind of ugliness and hatred would be bred in these fragments of the world in the future.

[But… even if I see through all fate, perhaps, there is still a miracle…]

Before the Dao was extinguished, the giant god murmured. He knew everything, but there was still something he didn't know – that was the Great Flood that transcended Dao Integration, the Great Flood that was also transcendence, the supreme that was also correct.

He still had infinite things he couldn't see.

Therefore, he held the last glimmer of hope.

[Even if it's people like you… impossible possibilities like you.]

[I am also willing to believe.]

The giant god died, and He didn't close his eyes. All of his divine power was stripped away at this moment, and the brilliant light like the sun and moon dimmed, leaving only the dark sun to slowly rot.

In the last of the last, He shed tears.

These tears passed through the void, froze into snow, and scattered into the world, maintaining the vitality of the entire fragment of the world.

The field of vision rose higher and higher.

In this ruined world, Primordial Gods and Demons were constantly being conceived. They would create a brand-new Húntian in the corpse of the old Húntian again – and as if out of nothing, there was an infinite number of powerhouses in the future of this new Húntian who would revert time and become the original Primordial Gods and Demons.

Infinity bred infinity. The infinite future perfected the foundation of the past, causing an even greater infinity to derive… In this endless cycle, no matter the specific process, it would eventually make this new Húntian incomparably vast and incomparably terrifying.

Even in the multiverse void, countless inexplicable Great Daos seemingly from every corner of the multiverse were pouring into Húntian, breeding new Primordial Chaos Gods and Demons. These Chaos Gods and Demons even launched a great war because of the substitution and rewriting between the past and the future, as if they were going to completely shatter Húntian, completely pulverize the ‘old Húntian’, and turn it into the ‘new Húntian’ condensed by them.

A God of unknown origin passed through Húntian.

He saw the void, saw the hell, saw the despair, saw the ugliness, saw the corpse of the world, and saw the Primordial Gods and Demons that were deriving from the nothingness.

He saw the hope, saw the expectation, saw the perseverance, saw the determination, saw the pleas of all things, and saw the taboo that was emerging from the infinite omnipotence.

He saw it, saw it, in the old Húntian, the world protected in the palm of the giant god.

[You are not wrong.]

He said: [You should not be forgotten either.]

Thus, the God stopped, stopping His journey to pursue the Great Flood and seek infinity in this infinite multiverse.

The God entered Húntian.

And then…

He split the Heavens.

That was a slaughter that no one could imagine.

The Supreme Sacred Lord who pursued infinity slaughtered all the original ancient gods. He slaughtered all the Chaos Gods and Demons, whether from the past or the future, whether derived from inside the universe or from the outer void.

The corpses of countless gods and demons fell and finally piled up into an infinitely wide earth.

An earth called Húntian.

[Stupid outsider, do you think you can suppress us forever?!]

Even after being killed and their corpses piled up, the Chaos Gods and Demons still sneered at the God's actions: [We are all things, we are the Great Dao! What's the use of you lifting up all things and turning them into floating islands, away from our corpses? All those things, the infinite beings of the future, are our derivatives!]

[Infinite future, infinite possibilities. Every life can comprehend and awaken, sublimate and transform, achieve an incredible existence, and even surpass us, the founders of these Great Daos!]

[We are infinite time, infinite possibilities, infinite power – you are ultimately not a seed of transcendence, and it is impossible for you to forever seal our infinite Great Dao divine power!]

As the Chaos Gods and Demons called out, an infinite number of Chaos Gods and Demons began to emerge from the void again – those that had already died, those that had already appeared, those that were still in legends, or those that did not exist in the past and were vague in the future – in the infinite future, there were infinite powerhouses who could revert time, arrive at the beginning, and transform into Primordial Gods and Demons.

This was a cycle, an infinite cycle, an eternally endless cycle. The Primordial Gods and Demons of the past were endless, and the Chaos Gods and Demons of the future were also endless!

[Ignorance.]

And the God of unknown origin simply responded: [Is it only you who can transcend spacetime and see through all the past and future? I also have such divine power!]

[If you are the Great Dao.]

[I am the Lord of all Daos!]

The Supreme Sage pursued the Great Flood. He certainly had not mastered infinity, but He knew a supreme path.

Its name was ‘Absolute’.

——The Great Dao is formless, giving birth to heaven and earth.

——The Great Dao is ruthless, operating the sun and moon.

——The Great Dao is nameless, nourishing all things.

Great Dao…

[——Infinitely eternal, eternally existent without origin, eternally true without falsehood——]

[I am eternally true without falsehood, the supreme Dao.]

[I am Qianyuán, and I shall be the Lord of this world!]

——Qianyuán is the origin of the Qian. The beginning of the heavenly Dao!

Qianyuán Dao Lord shattered all the Chaos Gods and Demons, raising the fragments of the old Húntian to the sky, turning those differentiated universes and spacetime into many floating island planes and continents with different spacetime flow rates.

The absolute Great Dao disordered spacetime, cutting off the infinite future powerhouses from arriving in the present, and also cutting off the ancient gods from the infinite source from going to the future.

——Determining Qiankun, dividing Yin and Yang, sorting out the past and future, pacifying the original Gods and Demons, finalizing the three thousand Great Daos, and subduing the infinite future.

But even so, it was still not enough.

Even Qianyuán Dao Lord was only absolute and could not take into account infinity. In the infinitely broad possibilities, there was one possibility that became reality, that was the possibility that the old and new Gods would no longer fight internally, but would concentrate wholeheartedly and use infinite power to fight Qianyuán Dao Lord.

They joined hands, intertwining the past and the future, and mutually forged infinite divine power, which was a divine power that even Qianyuán Dao Lord, who had slaughtered an era of ancient gods, could not resist.

However, Qianyuán Dao Lord was also not easy to deal with. He knew that even in the infinite cycle, miracles would still appear. Among those infinite Chaos Gods and Primordial Gods, there would eventually be one who would not collude with them.

His name was [Polar Star]. In the distant future, He would become a fellow Daoist who would resonate with Himself and suppress the taboo together.

But, just at this moment.
