Chapter 170: Chapter 170: The Whereabouts of the Other Child (Part 2)

Raina North didn’t move; she’s not stupid. Claire North has a grudge against her, so where could she possibly take her that’s good?

Claire North glanced at Raina North: "Are you scared now? If you’re scared, hurry back. After all, you already have a son. However, I must remind you, this is your last chance. No matter what, even if I die, I won’t reveal the whereabouts of your other child. Raina North, if you’re ready for mother and child’s lives to never cross paths again, you can turn away now."

After saying that, she turned and left.

Raina North frowned, watching the direction Claire North left, the place where she lived after her identity was revealed.

A bungalow in the back garden of the villa.

What does Claire North want to do there?

Raina North couldn’t fathom it, but she still started to follow.

Raina North walked along the cobblestone path, with various flowers and plants planted along the side of the path.

She planted them after moving out of the main house; they’re not precious, but when they bloom together, they’re dazzlingly beautiful.

This is the liveliness of life and the beauty of it.

Raina North didn’t appreciate them for even a second more; even her breath was held as she passed by.

Because, as soon as she stepped onto this path, she smelled something unusual.

Raina North stopped at the door: "Say what you want right here; I’m afraid there’s a trap inside."

Claire North looked hurt: "Sister, how could you say that? I’ll be very sad."

"Claire North, I’m not a man, no matter how much you pretend to be pitiful, I won’t charge ahead for you. Even if I were a man, looking at you acting like a stunning Lotus White, I still wouldn’t be impulsive."

Claire North’s face suddenly turned cold; her lovely countenance showed a few more ferocious lines.

She looked at Raina North coldly and smiled sinisterly: "Raina North, do you know what annoys me most about you? Obviously, you’re just a fake occupying the nest, yet you act more noble than anyone else! Don’t blame me, you deserve all this; it’s your fault for taking my place!"

Raina North looked at her, her face appeared even clearer under the dim light. After a long pause, she asked angrily, "What you’ve done to me before, I’ve accepted. But you shouldn’t have ever found someone to ruin my purity! Nor sent away my child!"

Claire North felt no guilt: "Who told you to be ignorant? You knew you were just an illegitimate daughter, so why did you think you could be with Beau Shelby? As for sending away that child, it was just your punishment. Raina North, you owe me this."

Raina North’s expression became even colder, her gaze sharp like a sword capable of cutting through all wickedness.

"Claire North, where exactly is my eldest son?"

"Your eldest son, oh, I sold him. The one who bought him is a woman. I don’t know much else. You also can’t expect that I’d care much about the child you gave birth to."

Raina North’s expression instantly turned gloomy; ever since hearing from Claire North that she had given birth to triplets, she began to investigate the child that was taken but found nothing.

By chance, she saw that photoshopped picture thinking Baby was her eldest son, but the identification results left her greatly disappointed.

Afterwards, she restarted the investigation, but for so long there was no news whatsoever — the child seemed to have vanished into thin air.

Raina North couldn’t contain her inner urgency: "Claire North, who exactly was the woman who bought the child from you back then?"
