Claire North hid her anger, gritting her teeth, and knelt down with a thud, tears streaming down as she said, "Sister, I really know I was wrong."
"I believe you know you were wrong." Raina North softened her tone. "Since you call me sister, I can’t not help you, right?"
Claire North relaxed her expression. Just as her mommy said, as long as she lowered herself enough, even if Raina was unwilling, she would have to help her. After all, there were people in The North Family that Raina cared about.

Raina nodded and then raised her voice, "President Shelby, you heard it, Claire already knows her mistake."

Why was he here now?

Miles Shelby looked at Raina’s smiling face and recalled what Raina had just said on the phone.

Miles Shelby’s face immediately darkened.
Raina took advantage of the moment she was helping Claire up, pinching her hard, and before she could cry out in pain, said, "Claire, I know you’re upset about what happened, afraid of delaying Young Master Shelby.
