Tang Luo had just sat next to her Aunt when Uncle Fan came in. Seeing Tang Tang, he heaved a sigh of relief: "I went out just now without my phone, took a lap around the parking lot and couldn’t find you. I was worried that you might have gone to the Dynasty in the new district."
"Do I seem that unreliable?" Tang Tang pointed to the seat next to her: "Come on, sit down, look how sweaty you are," then pointing to Tang Luo who was sizing up Uncle Fan: "This is my niece, Tang Luo."
"Hello, Uncle!" Tang Luo greeted with a smile. Just judging by appearance, Uncle Fan seemed quite compatible with her aunt, around 178 cm tall, of medium build, with thick eyebrows and big eyes plus glasses, which made him look quite scholarly. He seemed to have a good temperament, and as first impressions go, she wasn’t one to judge harshly based on status; as long as someone looked pleasant she would greet them warmly.
"Hello, Tang Luo!" Uncle Fan was so pleased he couldn’t stop smiling. Having heard Tang Tang mention her niece often, he knew somewhat of Tang Luo’s character. Her initiative in greeting him meant much acceptance, which really made him happy, knowing how influential this little girl was to Tang Tang.
"Aunt, drinking more water is good for your health!" Seeing Ye Fanghua observing her with a smile, Tang Luo quickly picked up the teapot to pour her water, as everyone decided to chat comfortably with the waiters sent away.
"Thank you, Tang Luo, so pretty and sensible, truly endearing!"
Fu Mo teased with a laugh: "Mom, Tang Tang being sensible must be an act. At school, she didn’t let your son off easy. Don’t praise her!"
Tang Luo rolled her eyes at Fu Mo and kept quiet; this was her aunt’s future father-in-law’s birthday banquet, so she would let him off for now, planning to have Xing Nong take care of him later!
"You sweet child!" Ye Fanghua lovingly patted her son’s forehead. Her husband had already passed away, and her son was the hope of the family. She was very aware of how much her son had taken on and suffered.
Yet, she couldn’t interfere much, partly because she was a daughter of the Ye Family, and if manipulated by others, it could be misconstrued that the Ye Family wanted to meddle in the Fu Family affairs.
For the sake of her family’s reputation, over the years, she had to watch her son bear the responsibility of the entire family on his young shoulders, and how many tears she shed in private, only she knew. Of course, she was aware that the Ye Family, overtly and covertly, helped her son a lot; without Uncle Fan’s support, how would her son have established himself?
She was very grateful to Uncle Fan and his son for their support but always felt a slight unease; she could guess Uncle Fan’s intentions, probably hoping his daughter, Fan Rui, would marry Fu Mo. However, secretly observing, her son didn’t seem to have feelings for Fan Rui, and she truly hoped this wouldn’t lead to conflict because she wouldn’t force her son!

After three rounds of drinks, everyone began to chat about more casual, everyday topics.
Tang Luo nudged Fu Mo and whispered, "Hey, Fan Rui almost glared a hole through me!"
Fu Mo chuckled softly, "Just glare back at her."
Young Master Fu, hmph, just you wait!" Tang Luo grinned mischievously: "Tomorrow, I’ll tell Xing Nong about your identity, hiding it from us all this while, hmph..."
Realizing from what Uncle Fan called Fu Mo, Tang Luo understood that the Fu Family must be a close second to the Tang Family in business. It seemed the Fan Family must be relying on the Fu Family; no wonder my aunt decided to act first and report later, but does the Fan Family know about her background?
"You guys never asked; I couldn’t just show off my family background out of the blue."
"Oh my, I get it now!" Tang Luo suddenly smacked her forehead, seeing everyone’s eyes on her, she quickly coughed to cover it up: "I’ll go to the restroom."
"Me too." Fu Mo didn’t care what others thought and followed her out, determined to clear up what this girl had figured out, and absolutely not let her tip off Xing Nong, who was tormenting in her pranks, and Jingjing, his little nephew, god, just thinking about it gave him a headache...
Tang Luo looked back at Fu Mo: "Hey, aren’t you afraid that girl will come after you? I recognized her, she’s the advertising star Fan Rui, right?"
