An Nuan's gaze fell upon Xia Wanqing.
Zhou Chumù walked over, directly shielding An Nuan, and said calmly, "Nuannuan, let's go. I'll take you away from here."
With that, he took An Nuan's hand and prepared to leave.

She suddenly remembered something Xu Ruowei had said: don't mention this matter to Shen Xizhou. If he asked about their appearance, just don't answer.

An Nuan, standing by, said nothing to Shen Xizhou's suspicious gaze.
She was used to such suspicion and disbelief.
If he had believed her from the beginning, things wouldn't have turned out this way.
At first, she would have felt hurt, but now she wouldn't.
"Yes, I was bribed."
An Nuan smiled, a loud, clear smile. "Mr. Shen, after hearing these words, what now? Do you need to do something?"
"Yes, I admit it now. You're right, this is what I did."
An Nuan did not back down. She walked forward from behind Zhou Chumù, her eyes full of determination. "Mr. Shen has heard the answer he wanted, and I've agreed. So, what are you going to do?"
An Nuan stared at Shen Xizhou, not flinching at all.
Shen Xizhou was stunned. He hadn't expected An Nuan to directly admit to it.
He was just accustomed to saying such things directly.
Shen Xizhou was momentarily speechless.
Zhou Chumù, however, was extremely anxious. He reached out and tugged An Nuan's arm, his eyes full of worry and urgency. "Nuannuan, you didn't do these things. Why are you admitting to them?"
Xia Wanqing looked at An Nuan in astonishment. Why did she admit it?
"An Nuan, you didn't do this. Why did you admit it? Do you know? This will only make Shen Xizhou hate you more."
An Nuan glanced at Xia Wanqing. She hadn't expected Xia Wanqing to say such a thing to her.
The corners of her lips twitched into a smile, and she said with a cold laugh, "Then tell me, what should I do? Should I explain?"
"Of course, you should explain. This has nothing to do with you. Why did you admit it?"
"If you didn't do it, are you just going to let someone frame you like this?"
Hearing Xia Wanqing's words, An Nuan smiled. She really hadn't expected Xia Wanqing to speak up for her.
