Chapter 530 The Campus Belle in Domestic Horror Films (2)

"Are we here yet?" Lin Yan's eyes were hazy as she rubbed her forehead.

"Not yet, something's blocking the road ahead. Do you want to get out and stretch your legs?" the person from the driver's seat before asked her.

His name was Li Yize, and he was also the organizer of this trip. However, Lin Yan could tell he was being overly solicitous towards her.

"What's blocking the road?" Lin Yan lowered her hand from her forehead.

"A fallen tree, but it's alright, we should be able to sort it out soon. Do you want to get out and stretch? There's food in the trunk, you can rest a bit if you come down."

"Okay, thank you."

Zhao Yize opened the car door, and Lin Yan stepped out. Someone else had already opened the trunk.

A bottle of water was placed in front of Lin Yan. "Have some water."

"Thank you!" Lin Yan took the offered water and found a spot by the roadside to sit.

People from the two cars behind also got out. The girl who had been sitting next to Lin Yan was now by the side of the girl in that couple.

The two of them looked quite familiar, chatting and laughing together.

Apart from the person who had just called out to Lin Yan, the other men were busy figuring out how to move the branches.

Lin Yan was wearing a white dress. She wasn't sure if she had brought any other clothes, but for an outing like this, especially to a mountain villa, even with direct car access, this kind of outfit wasn't really suitable for walking on such a road, was it?

She truly didn't understand why the campus belle had to wear a white dress. However, in this environment, such a dress required extreme caution; otherwise, even the slightest stain would be incredibly embarrassing.

If it were somewhere else, she could maintain its cleanliness, but in the mountains, unexpected incidents were frequent, and Lin Yan didn't have the mental energy to ensure this dress would remain pristine.

A white dress, long black hair cascading down her back. Although Lin Yan didn't have a mirror, she could roughly guess that her appearance now likely fit a certain type.

Recalling that the original host in her memory had always been the campus belle throughout high school and university, and then thinking about the information the system had provided her, she had a rough idea of what kind of script she was in.

Lin Yan subtly observed the group. Apart from herself, all eight of them seemed quite familiar with each other. Not to mention the other two girls, the boys also exuded a sense of camaraderie when they spoke.

Of the two girls, the one who had sat next to Lin Yan was named Yue Yue, Huang Yue. She seemed to have a good relationship with several of the boys.

Considering she was the one who had invited Lin Yan, it was evident she was very adept at socializing.

The other girl was also their high school classmate. Her name was Luo Yifei, and she was dating the boy wearing a white t-shirt.

However, they hadn't started dating in high school. They attended the same university, and only later got together.

Now that they had graduated, their relationship still appeared very close, suggesting they might go from school uniforms to wedding attire.

Among the boys, apart from Li Yize and Luo Yifei's boyfriend, Ah Ming, there were three others. Lin Yan couldn't recall their names.

For now, she only knew their nicknames: the one in the blue t-shirt was Glasses, the one in the black hoodie was Ah Rui, and the one in the blue plaid shirt was Da B.

These individuals hadn't left any strong impressions in Lin Yan's memory. During high school, Lin Yan had numerous extracurricular classes, and she was also preparing to study abroad.

Therefore, apart from Yue Yue, a classmate, she was not familiar with these people at all. They all belonged to the same circle, and although she wasn't close to them, now that she was back in the country, she needed to build some connections.

"Yan Yan, are you feeling better?" Yue Yue, holding Luo Yifei's hand, walked over to Lin Yan.

"Much better, I'm really sorry to have caused trouble."
