Chapter 336 Encountering Bandits

"Your thoughts can go as far as you want, just get away from me. I'm not interested in you," Jane Eyre rejected John coldly. He was simply not her type, and the talk of love at first sight was clearly lust at first sight. She didn't believe a word of it!

After being rejected by Jane Eyre, the white man, John, glared at her fiercely, "You've got guts, little lady!!" His eyes were filled with possessive desire.

Jane Eyre snorted, not bothering to spare him a second glance. She had never met this man before; who was this lunatic?

John then looked at Zhang Tianxing. Zhang Tianxing spread his hands in a gesture of helplessness. John let out a cold snort and grudgingly walked away.

"Dear Zhang Tianxing, thank you so much just now," Jane Eyre expressed her gratitude. If Zhang Tianxing had agreed to the other party's request to switch seats, her journey would have been anything but peaceful.

"You're welcome. That will be two hundred dollars," Zhang Tianxing said with a faint smile.

Hearing Zhang Tianxing's words, Jane Eyre's expression became very complicated. She had never expected Zhang Tianxing to take his earlier words so seriously.

Jane Eyre angrily took out her wallet and threw two hundred dollars at him. Zhang Tianxing casually took it and put it in his pocket.

Zhang Tianxing's action almost made Jane Eyre's lungs explode. This handsome guy was quite attractive, but his manners were far from elegant or gentlemanly.

He was not even as good as that disgusting man earlier, who had at least claimed to be her knight in shining armor.

But this handsome Eastern guy actually expected her to pay him? Didn't he see her beauty?

She had initially hoped for a romantic encounter on this trip and was prepared to give him a chance to get to know her. It seemed that was not to be. She would just have to sleep on it, as dreams could offer solace.

Jane Eyre consoled herself and closed her eyes.

Seeing this, Zhang Tianxing also closed his eyes. He had been too busy with things lately and hadn't rested well. He planned to get some sleep on the flight.

Before long, both of them had fallen asleep. Zhang Tianxing was awakened by the urge to urinate and got up to go to the restroom.

While Zhang Tianxing was whistling a happy tune, completely relaxed.

"Bang!"

A gunshot from outside interrupted Zhang Tianxing's pleasant relaxation.

Zhang Tianxing frowned. What the heck was going on? Was he hallucinating? He continued to relax.

"Bang!"

Damn it, this wasn't a hallucination; someone was really shooting!

Was this a joke? The plane was at thirty thousand feet in the air. Where could a gunshot come from? Zhang Tianxing finished his business with a sense of doubt.

At that moment, someone twisted the restroom door. Zhang Tianxing moved to the side of the door and turned on the light switch.

The person outside immediately pushed the door open and stumbled inside. It was a few flight attendants, and the head flight attendant quickly closed the restroom door from the outside, saying urgently, "You girls stay here for a while. I'll see what's happening outside."

"Team Leader Wang, they have guns! They're not good people!!" one of the flight attendants was on the verge of tears.

The scene outside had terrified them, these delicate flowers.

"We are flight attendants. The passengers are in danger right now. We can't just hide here. That would be irresponsible to ourselves and to the passengers," Wang Jing said righteously.

"Sister Wang, I'll go out with you," a petite girl, Zhou Fang, stepped forward, her face resolute. Hearing Wang Jing's words, her sense of duty surged.

"Silly girl, go back. What are you getting involved in? Everyone's life is precious. I'm enough out there," Wang Jing refused Zhou Fang's request.

Zhang Tianxing squeezed out from inside and pulled Zhang Tianxing aside with a startled cry, "Sir, please don't go out yet. There are people hijacking the plane outside, and you'll be in danger if you go out."

"Alright, I know. I won't act rashly. I value my life more than anyone else. I haven't enjoyed this wonderful world yet," Zhang Tianxing patted Zhou Fang's shoulder and gently pulled away her hand, which felt soft and tender.

Wang Jing also looked conflicted. "Sir, please don't cause any trouble."

Zhang Tianxing didn't give Wang Jing a chance to refuse. He directly stepped out and closed the restroom door.

Seeing this, Wang Jing sighed and pulled Zhang Tianxing aside, whispering, "There are two hijackers. They've already put on parachute gear and have guns. They're making the passengers hand over their money and valuables."

Zhang Tianxing nodded, indicating that he understood. "I'll go back to my seat and take a look."

Wang Jing was filled with anxiety. This young man was so handsome, yet his mind seemed a bit slow. She had told him it was dangerous, so why did he want to go back to his seat?

Oh well, she was the supervisor, and it was her responsibility to be at the scene.

Wang Jing directly picked up the intercom and shouted, "Ladies and gentlemen, please duck down to avoid accidental injury."

Meanwhile, Zhang Tianxing took the opportunity to walk towards the cabin. The two hijackers were in the process of robbing passengers one by one.

The tall hijacker waved his gun and said, "Listen up, everyone. You only have one life. Money can be earned again. Besides, you have insurance, don't you? People who fly are all rich. I believe you'll make the right choice."

"Watches, wallets, bank cards, IP cards, IC cards, hand them all over! Write down your passwords on your backs, or you'll regret it!!" the thin hijacker shouted. "Boss, how was my speech? Was it sharp and clear? If these guys dare to mess with us, we'll shoot them next time. I have a photographic memory."

He pointed his gun at Wang Jing. "Aren't you a flight attendant? Grab your bag and come with me. Collect the money one by one."

"Okay, big brother, I'll follow your instructions. How about this, you put down your gun first, and I promise to do as you say," Wang Jing attempted to calm the hijacker.

"Bang!"

The thin hijacker fired his gun upwards again. "Shut up! Go get a sack to put the things in immediately. If you move any slower, I guarantee someone will die miserably!"

These gunshots terrified the passengers, who all ducked down, cursing their luck. They never expected to encounter such a rare hijacking event at thirty thousand feet in the air.

"Don't even think about waiting for someone to rescue you. We've thought of every detail. We've planned countless scenarios. Even if there were members of the Flying Tigers on this plane, they wouldn't be a match for our guns," the thin hijacker laughed heartily.
