Chapter 166: Chapter 166: Victory Achieved! Godzilla Takes the Glory! Still Not Sleeping?
Godzilla’s super atomic breath tore across the battlefield!
The entire Transformers legion received the signal and instantly dodged, clearing a path for the beam to pass through. Those who failed to avoid it were reduced to ash in an instant! Even some who weren’t directly hit were burned alive just from being too close.
As the atomic breath swept past, the Transformers descendants surrounding Thanos immediately fired their thrusters and pulled back. Over thirty of them moved in perfect unison, as if it had been rehearsed.
"Hm?"
Thanos froze for a moment, watching the Transformers pull back at the same time. Then, from his side, a brilliant blue light erupted!
"!!"
He had no time to defend. All he could do was instinctively raise the Infinity Gauntlet and his double-bladed greatsword before him.
The next instant, the atomic breath struck! The two forces collided! As the searing beam clashed with the Infinity Gauntlet, the Soul Stone automatically generated an orange barrier and portal around Thanos. But the terrifying energy still slammed into him!
"Ahhh!!"
In an instant, Thanos was engulfed by the atomic breath—
and in the blink of an eye, he was gone.
Had he been teleported away?
Obliterated into nothingness?
Neither.
The thirty-plus Transformers all looked toward the far end of the atomic beam—Thanos was being blasted endlessly into the void! Even with the Infinity Stones and his greatsword shielding him, he was knocked senseless and hurled out into deep space.
The Soul Stone, sensing its host’s life was in danger, attempted to retrieve him by opening a portal to its inner dimension. But as Thanos, his weapon shattered, began to pass through—the power of the atomic breath surged in with him!
It was like flushing a toilet. You can’t flush just the paper or just the waste—you need water. And so, the devastating energy was dragged along.
The portal twisted under the impact and collapsed! With space itself warped, the coordinates shifted, and Thanos was not sent into the Soul Stone’s realm. Instead, unconscious, he was hurled into a dimension saturated with negative energy.
While he lay unconscious, a green insect discovered him. It quickly summoned others, and together they carried Thanos to a vast, terrifying hall. There, enthroned within, was a colossal green insect king.
This was the Negative Zone.
And he was Annihilus, the Annihilation King.
The swarm before him—Annihilation Wave!
...
Meanwhile, after Thanos vanished, the thirty-odd Transformers descendants transmitted the full battle record and situation to their elders. Once the elders reviewed the data, they ordered the Transformers to return to their squads.
Now, with the Black Order gone and Thanos himself missing, his army was as fragile as paper! The Transformers had already begun a flawless cleanup operation—a battlefield sweep with zero casualties.
After several hours of battle, Godzilla glanced at the few remaining enemies. Satisfied, it powered down its Saiyan Mode and returned to Cybertron, leaving the scraps to the army.
In no time, less than five percent of Thanos’ forces managed to escape. The other ninety-five percent were wiped out within the Solar System!
Debris now drifted everywhere—corpses, fragments, wreckage, weapons, engines, ammunition, food, equipment... Shattered remains scattered across the system.
It didn’t matter. The Sun’s gravity and that of the planets would eventually pull them in. Some would drift endlessly into the void, others be captured by Jupiter or another giant, eventually burning in atmospheres or crashing into worlds.
So the Transformers only needed to collect useful resources. The rest didn’t even need cleaning.
Thus, the war was over. Given the overwhelming disparity in strength, the Transformers civilization had achieved a near-perfect victory over Thanos’ legion.
The Collector stood before his instruments, staring at the results of the war, unable to calm his mind for a long time. It wasn’t that he found it impossible. Nor that it seemed miraculous. It was simply the sheer impact of what he had witnessed—his heart shaken for so long.
The Collector had lived for countless years. Though weak in combat, his knowledge was vast. Yet even so, he had never seen a civilization that advanced as rapidly as the Transformers.
Perhaps records mentioned such civilizations, but none had ever been confirmed. Of all he had personally seen, the Transformers were undoubtedly the mightiest civilization he had ever encountered.
That was the true source of his shock. Given more time to develop, they would surely become the strongest in the universe—without question!
If Thanos’ legion could be annihilated so utterly, who else could stand against them?
The Collector pondered. Perhaps only those legendary civilizations said not to exist.
...
Meanwhile, several hours earlier, Lorien lay resting on a lounge chair within the Little Universe.
The Twins, Aria and Bella, approached and spoke.
"Master, Thanos’ army has entered the Solar System and is preparing to attack Earth. However, their warships failed to warp and collided with the Transformers. A fierce battle is now underway."
"Hm?"
Upon hearing the report, Lorien immediately found it interesting.
So they’ve started fighting?
Just a few days ago, Lorien had already said that if Thanos’ army tried to descend directly upon Earth, they would first have to break through the Transformers.
And now, they had really run into each other.
Lorien nodded, amused.
"Record everything carefully. Report the detailed data to me later."
"Yes, Master."
In Lorien’s mind, the outcome was already decided—the Transformers civilization would defeat Thanos’ army.
Why? The reason was simple.
Out of the six Infinity Stones in this universe, three were already in the hands of the Transformers. Two were on Earth. And Thanos only had the Soul Stone—an auxiliary one at that!
Without one of the more powerful stones, was Thanos really that strong? Not at all.
If he had the Power Stone or the Space Stone, then Lorien might have been interested in seeing how things played out—whether Thanos could actually win, and whether he himself should intervene.
But with only the Soul Stone... it was questionable whether Thanos could even stand against Godzilla. If he got hit by Godzilla’s atomic breath, Lorien figured he’d be finished instantly.
And as for Thanos’ army? Sorry.
It wasn’t that Lorien underestimated them—after all, Thanos’ legion was capable of taking on the three great empires of the universe. But compared to the Transformers... they were nothing.
Every Transformer warrior was a true warrior. How could ordinary lifeforms in the universe hope to fight against them? And in the vacuum of space, no less!
There was no chance of victory.
So Lorien simply waited for the final results.
The process? It wasn’t important.
The Ballerina Twins nodded when they heard this. They knew the war would take some time.
But then they thought of last night...
They exchanged a glance. Then Aria bent down slightly and asked,
"Master, did your two companions satisfy you? Would you like the Ballerina’s service tonight?"
Hearing this, Lorien couldn’t help but picture the scene of Wanda and Gwen, lipstick smeared, going back and forth on him. The way they fought over "candy."
That alone had slapped a 50% weakness debuff on him, leaving him drained—so much so that today’s "treatment" had already left him obedient and subdued.
He waved his hand.
"Forget it for today. If I need you, I’ll call."
"Or, if you notice I’m ready, then we’ll talk."
The Ballerina Twins nodded, then withdrew.
Still, a trace of disappointment lingered in their hearts.
That was because they were no longer just robotic Ballerina Twins—they were reborn as new beings.
They had souls now. And Lorien was their master.
Naturally, they longed for his affection.
Otherwise, they would never have asked on their own. They would never have hinted, or suggested, or spoken first.
If they had no souls, they would have only waited to be used. They wouldn’t expect, wouldn’t desire.
That was the difference.
...
A few hours later, Lorien relaxed in the Little Universe, enjoying the evening breeze as he flipped through a volume of Attack on Titan.
At the same time, the Ballerina Twins delivered their final war report.
Aria stood beside him and reported.
"The final outcome was a decisive victory for the Transformers civilization."
"The casualty ratio was 100 to 1.5."
"Four of Thanos’ Black Order members are dead, and the status of the last one remains unknown."
"Thanos himself was blasted into a temporal vortex by Godzilla’s atomic breath. His life or death is uncertain."
"The Transformers civilization has completed their battlefield cleanup."
"According to calculations, the space debris will not affect Earth."
After Aria finished her report, she transferred the detailed battle data onto a tablet and handed it to Lorien. While Lorien reviewed the information, Bella spoke up.
"After this war, the once-mightiest legion in the universe has officially ended."
"Unless something unexpected happens..."
"The Transformers civilization has now become the strongest in the universe."
"Their total combat power surpasses that of the Nova Empire, the Skrull Empire, and the Kree Empire."
"As for the legendary Shi’ar Empire, whether it truly exists remains unknown."
"Perhaps they reside in other star systems or even other dimensions."
Lorien nodded.
"Mm."
He then continued examining the detailed battle report.
The first section was the overview, listing the total strength of Thanos’ three legions against the two legions of the Transformers. Although it was three versus two, the numerical gap was staggering. The report detailed the number of Thanos’ flagships, warships, spacecraft, and soldiers—though some were estimates.
Next came the individual rankings. How many the Elders eliminated, how many the Transformers descendants eliminated, even down to the exact number credited to each warrior.
Then Lorien noticed a particularly interesting icon—Godzilla.
Godzilla’s avatar was right there, and it was ranked first. Its record was unmatched, far ahead of every other Transformer.
Lorien leaned closer.
"Not bad, little guy."
The panel showed Godzilla’s stats: 1,500 spaceships destroyed, over 800 warships annihilated, three members of the Black Order slain, and finally, with a single atomic breath, blasting Thanos himself into uncertainty.
The numbers were dazzling. Godzilla’s kill record left all others far behind.
"Not bad at all."
Looking at the avatar, Lorien suddenly felt like he was watching his own child grow up. All that effort raising him hadn’t been in vain. The usefulness was incredible. Even if seen as an investment, the return was beyond worth it.
After reading through the report, Lorien handed the tablet back to Aria.
"Tell the Elders to keep track of Thanos’ movements. If he isn’t dead, then he’s bound to cause more trouble. If he’s dead..."
Lorien trailed off, thinking.
The Ballerina Twins exchanged glances, then repeated curiously,
"If he’s dead?"
Dead is dead, isn’t it?
But actually, not in the Marvel Universe.
Death doesn’t always mean the end. Some beings can resurrect you.
Take Thanos—if he dies, Lady Death herself might bring him back. She could restore him, then send him to carry out some task. It wouldn’t be the first time.
To put it simply: when Thanos dies, he would meet Lady Death. But if Lady Death doesn’t want to see him, she could just resurrect him, granting him an unkillable body so he could never reach her again.
Cruel, but effective.
This kind of brutal "ditch the suitor" tactic? Lady Death had used it before. Only, the one she did it to wasn’t Thanos—it was Deadpool.
...
But Lorien thought it over. Matters like that weren’t something the Transformers could interfere in anyway. He waved his hand.
"If he’s dead, then so be it. Just stay alert while he’s alive."
The Ballerina Twins nodded and relayed the message to the Elders.
This wasn’t something Lorien said lightly. No matter which version of the story, Thanos was always unyielding—practically a protagonist in his own right. It was only sensible to keep an eye on him. He had a way of stirring up chaos.
Of course, none of that really concerned Lorien himself.
...
After finishing the battle report, Lorien checked the time. It was already one or two in the morning.
"Time to sleep."
He tossed the comic book aside. A hole opened in the air, pulling the book inside. Another hole appeared before the bookshelf in his comic room, where the book slid neatly into place. The portal then closed.
By then, Lorien had already entered his bedroom.
"~~~"
The lights were off. He assumed the two girls were already asleep.
But then he noticed two large bulges pressed together under the blanket, shifting slightly with each breath.
"???"
Lorien raised an eyebrow. He crept silently to the bed and lifted a corner of the blanket.
"What are you two looking at? Not sleeping yet?"
"Yaa~!"
Both Wanda and Gwen yelped in surprise.
Lorien glanced down. Gwen was clutching a manga book, reading together with Wanda. The blanket was too dark, but that was no problem—Wanda was holding a faint light spell, casting just enough glow onto the pages.
Even when Gwen tried to hide it quickly, Lorien had already spotted the book’s glow under their clothes.
"Ohhh..."
Realization dawned on him.
"So instead of studying, you’ve been reading this?"
He extended his hand.
"Let me see."
Gwen hesitated. The two of them had been completely absorbed in it. She looked to Wanda, searching her eyes for a solution.
But Lorien only gave a sharp, questioning hum.
"Hm?"
Immediately, Gwen handed over the book.
Lorien flipped it open. The content was, indeed, intense.
Wanda squeezed her thighs together and muttered,
"Lorien, even if you still want more... Gwen and I can’t help you. Even if you used a talisman to make a clone, the clone would also be on its period."
"Mm-mm-mm!" Gwen nodded quickly in agreement.
But as Lorien skimmed through, a certain panel caught his eye, and his expression shifted.
That’s it! A new approach!
He closed the book, his eyes flashing with inspiration. Looking at Wanda and Gwen, his gaze made them both huddle together nervously.
Not tonight.
But tomorrow night...
Lorien smirked slyly, slid the book back to them, and said,
"Don’t worry. It’s late. Let’s rest well and talk tomorrow."
Gwen felt a chill run down her spine. Something wasn’t right.
