If these people could tie up wolves, they were certainly not common folk. Why would they be content with having these children perform petty tasks like stealing express packages?
Thinking of this, Chen Yang nodded and said, “When we get there, I’ll go in and take a look first.”
Not long after, the car arrived at a scattered village on the outskirts of Hanwu City, near a forest. The village was sparsely populated, with most residents making a living from cultivating bamboo and processing handicrafts.

Before him lay a gruesome scene. Seven or eight grey wolves lay on the ground, their strength depleted to mere whimpers. Their mouths emitted sounds of pain and supplication.
One wolf nearby had its mouth and eyes smashed, its blood pooling on the ground. Its limbs twitched powerlessly. The other older wolves were in similarly dire states. Various whips and wolf-tooth clubs hung on the cave walls.

Chen Yang turned and left the cave. He knew that the household not far from this cave was surely the hideout of the group who had kidnapped the wolves and used them to terrorize others.
