Chapter 811 Speed Up Your Actions!

The three chatted animatedly, a scene that filled Catherine with envy.

Why was she the one to be ignored as soon as Wei Yumeng appeared? She was defiant, unwilling to surrender what rightfully belonged to her.

Wei Yumeng, I will make sure you have a terrible time!

Catherine's suppressed emotions had reached a breaking point; she desperately needed an outlet.

Just then, Song Lijun was discussing the hospital re-examination with Wei Yumeng.

"You must have the doctor check you thoroughly when you go to the hospital, don't let any underlying issues linger," Song Lijun said with concern, a mother's worries never-ending.

Wei Yumeng nodded and replied, "Don't worry, Mo Han has already made arrangements."

Song Lihua glanced at Zhan Mohan and smiled with satisfaction, "That's right, Mo Han is meticulous, he must have arranged everything for you already."

Catherine seized the opportunity to interject, "Yumeng, when are you going for your check-up? Zhan Mohan seems so busy; do you need me to pick you up?"

Zhan Mohan, seated beside Catherine, shot her a sharp glance at her words. When had Catherine become so concerned about Yumeng?

"No need to trouble you, Mo Han will arrange it," Wei Yumeng smiled, politely refusing Catherine's offer.

Since Wei Yumeng had said so, Catherine couldn't insist further, and merely said with a forced smile, "Alright, if you need anything, just let me know."

Wei Yumeng simply nodded with a smile.

Song Lijun and Feng Zhenhua, witnessing this exchange, felt relieved. It was wonderful that Catherine and Wei Yumeng could get along harmoniously.

After sitting at Wei Yumeng's house for a long time, Song Lijun reluctantly took her leave, unable to get enough of Wei Yumeng and with so much more to say.

On the way back, Song Lijun glanced at the rearview mirror and saw that both of them were in good spirits. Catherine took the opportunity to ask, "Mom, Yumeng is going for her check-up the day after tomorrow, right?"

Song Lijun nodded and asked, "Yes, why?"

Catherine smiled, "Nothing much, I was just asking. I see Zhan Mohan is quite busy usually, so I was worried he might not be able to attend to her that day."

Mentioning this, Song Lijun also felt a touch of concern.

Feng Zhenhua waved his hand, saying, "You two stop worrying unnecessarily. With Mo Han there, what are you worried about? He will take good care of Yumeng."

Catherine sneered inwardly. These two spoke of Mo Han and Yumeng with such familiarity, as if they were truly family.

After sending Song Lijun back to her ward, Catherine left, citing company matters. Outside the ward, she took out her phone and made a call.

After speaking in hushed tones, she walked towards a coffee shop outside the hospital.

Entering the coffee shop, Catherine found a corner seat. Ten minutes later, a man wearing a black baseball cap walked in and sat opposite her.

Catherine spoke with the man for about ten minutes before picking up her bag and leaving. The night was deep, and their figures, leaving one after the other, gradually disappeared into the darkness.

Time slipped by like water, and Wei Yumeng's re-examination date arrived quickly. Before they left, Zhan Mohan's phone suddenly rang. Seeing his grave expression, Wei Yumeng asked him to go to the company first.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Fang Xun will accompany me," Wei Yumeng said as she tidied his collar.

Glancing at Fang Xun, who was standing nearby, Zhan Mohan had no choice but to nod. "Call me immediately if anything happens."

"Okay, don't worry, nothing will happen," Wei Yumeng smiled, reassuring him not to worry too much.

With Fang Xun accompanying her, Zhan Mohan felt a little more at ease. After instructing Fang Xun, he drove off to the company alone.

Upon arriving at the hospital, Wei Yumeng went directly to the examination room. The re-examination was simple, and her wound had healed very well, with almost no scarring.

This was also thanks to Zhan Mohan searching the world for scar-removing ointments for her. Thinking of this, Wei Yumeng's lips curved upwards involuntarily.

"I'll go see Mrs. Feng; you wait for me here," Wei Yumeng said, as she was halfway out, remembering that Song Lihua was still in the hospital.

"Okay," Fang Xun replied, obediently waiting outside the door.

Seeing Wei Yumeng, Song Lihua's spirits lifted immediately. She offered her food and drink, clearly delighted.

Wei Yumeng, seeing her happy, stayed in the ward and chatted with her for a long time. By the time she left, the sky had already darkened, and the sunset had painted the corridor a vibrant red.

Fang Xun was nowhere to be seen in the corridor. Just as Wei Yumeng was about to make a call, Catherine walked over. Seeing her, Catherine said, "You're looking for Fang Xun, aren't you?"

Wei Yumeng nodded and asked, "He disappeared as soon as I came out."

"I just saw him go downstairs; it seems there was a problem with where he parked his car. Why don't you go to the parking lot to look for him? He should be there," Catherine said with a seemingly kind reminder.

Wei Yumeng felt a twinge of doubt but thought that such a thing wouldn't be lied about, so she thanked Catherine and took the elevator to the parking lot.

On the first basement level, as the elevator doors opened, two men in black clothing stood outside, one on each side, not appearing to be waiting for the elevator.

Sensing trouble, Wei Yumeng's heart tightened. She quickly reached out to press the close door button, but it was too late. The two men exchanged a look, then grabbed Wei Yumeng's arms and pulled her out.

"Let go of me! Let go of me!"

"Help!"

Wei Yumeng cried out, her screams echoing in the parking lot, but there was no other sound besides her own.

At this moment, Fang Xun had just driven his car out of the parking lot. While standing in the corridor earlier, a security guard had called his phone, saying that his car had been vandalized and asked him to come down to handle it.

He glanced at the ward and, seeing Wei Yumeng engrossed in conversation, thought it wouldn't take long and came down himself.

As he got out of the car to assess the situation, his phone rang from his pocket. It was Zhan Mohan.

As soon as he answered, Zhan Mohan's angry roar came through, "Where is Yumeng?!"

"Madam..." Fang Xun frowned, clutching his phone as he rushed upstairs. Wei Yumeng was nowhere to be found in the ward.

In the parking lot, Wei Yumeng was desperately struggling, gripping the door handle. The man on her right pulled a white cloth from his pocket and roughly shoved it into her mouth.

He then forcefully pried her hands open and threw her into the back seat.

By the door, a man with a cigarette dangling from his lips watched impassively. He exhaled a puff of smoke and grunted, "Hurry up."

The man holding Wei Yumeng's hands nodded, took out a rope, tied her hands, and then reached for Wei Yumeng's collar.
