"Where are the people you've bought recently kept?" Long Xiao asked.

"Long Xiao, you useless good-for-nothing, what are you doing here? Get out quickly," Nangong Yue yelled, pointing at Long Xiao.
"Mom, I'm here to save you," Long Xiao said.
Nangong Yue looked at the short man beside Long Xiao. "Are you working with this guy? Is it you who had me locked up here?"
"Mom, I'm here to save you, how could I harm you," Long Xiao defended himself.
Nangong Yue looked at the short man next to Long Xiao again. "If you didn't harm me, why are you with him?"
"He's part of this laboratory. I couldn't find you, so I asked him to bring me here."
"Impossible. This kid is the worst kind of person. He wouldn't sincerely bring you to find me."
Long Xiao turned to look at the short man. "You didn't sincerely bring me to find my mother-in-law, did you? Is there a trap waiting for me?"

"Can you keep me?" Long Xiao asked, looking at the iron cage.
The short man grinned proudly. "Of course, I can. These iron cages are extremely sturdy. I've tried it, and no one can get out."
"I'll just break the lock and get out then."
The short man shook his head. "You probably can't break it. Try it if you don't believe me."
Long Xiao grabbed the lock and twisted it, finding that the lock the short man had installed was incredibly strong. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't break it.
