Chapter 435 She Cannot Escape!

In the living room.

An elder and two youngsters were gathered, whispering about how to engineer a reunion between Qin Beiting and Yu He.

Their plan, barely christened "Family fortune doesn't go to outsiders," was interrupted.

Ye Qichen stormed in, "Grandma, Mom! Has my sister returned?!"

Ye Jianming followed, hurrying behind him.

After speaking, he paused, seeing the two porcelain-doll-like, adorable children in the living room.

"Uncle, Mommy is in the kitchen helping Grandma cook," Duoduo said sweetly. Noticing Ye Jianming behind him, she added, "Grandpa."

Ye Jianming stared at the children, completely stunned.

These… these were his grandchildren? And granddaughter?

So cute!

Ye Qichen's heart melted upon hearing the child's soft, milky voice.

Just as he was about to rush forward to hug the children, Ye Zizheng came downstairs.

"Eh? At this hour, shouldn't you two be busy at the company making money?" he teased.

Ye Qichen, too lazy to banter, dashed into the kitchen. Seeing Yu He, dressed in an apron and cooking, felt like a five-year dream finally coming true.

"Sister!" He immediately stepped forward, wanting to hug her, but hesitated, fearing she might not like it, as his sister disliked close contact.

Yu He saw him and recognized him as the elder brother from the photograph. She smiled faintly, "Brother."

The word "Brother" was too much for Ye Qichen. He surged forward, scooped Yu He up, and spun her around with joy.

"This is great! You're finally back."

"Qichen, don't get too excited. He He just returned and is still adjusting after losing her memory," Cheng Lizhu said, busy turning off the stove.

Only then did Ye Qichen quickly put her down, clearing his throat. "I was just too excited. Did I scare you?"

"No," Yu He shook her head. Her gaze fell upon Ye Jianming, who stood at the kitchen doorway, looking happy but flustered, his hands clasped awkwardly.

"Dad," she called out.

Ye Jianming's throat caught. He nodded. "You're back. It's good that you're back."

With that, he turned and went upstairs to his study.

"..."

Just as Yu He began to think another family member didn't welcome her, Ye Jianming returned.

He came down with a file and handed it to Yu He. "This is all yours. Finally, I don't have to keep it for you anymore."

Yu He looked at it quizzically and opened it. She saw it contained her share of company dividends and profits over the years.

Five years in total, with the data meticulously organized and presented clearly, as if waiting for her return.

An inexpressible warmth filled Yu He's heart. She had a family, and they had been waiting for her to come back.

Meanwhile, at Junlin International Hotel.

Qin Beiting emerged from his room at eight o'clock. As he walked down the corridor, he noticed a room attendant cleaning room 1606. He paused.

"Boss, what's wrong?" Chen Dong asked, seeing him stop.

"Seventh Master," the room attendant greeted respectfully.

"Did the guest staying here check out?" Qin Beiting asked.

The attendant, head bowed, dared not meet his sharp gaze. "Yes, they checked out and left early this morning."

Qin Beiting's expression tightened. Hadn't she extended her room reservation for another half a month?

Why the sudden check-out?

Did she get scared?

Did she run away?

He couldn't quite articulate the complex emotions churning within him.

Chen Dong suddenly remembered that Yu He had been staying there and cautiously asked, "Boss, should we track her whereabouts?"

"No," Qin Beiting said, resuming his walk.

He had a premonition that they would meet again.

She couldn't escape him!

"Yes," Chen Dong followed his steps, feeling a bit lost.

What exactly were Ting Ge's feelings towards Sister-in-law?

Yu He stayed at the Ye family's home with the children for two days. On the third day, Duoduo began clamoring to return to Beijing.

If they didn't go back to Beijing soon, their plan couldn't be put into motion.

Coincidentally, Xiao Qing and Xiao Ya had found several properties that seemed suitable, and they wanted Yu He to come back and view them.

Cheng Lizhu and the others were reluctant to part. After five years apart, they had finally reunited, only to be separated again after just two days. However, Yu He had important matters to attend to, so they couldn't force her to stay. Now that she was back, future meetings would be easy.

"Sister, I haven't bought anything for the children. Take this card. If you need anything, just use it to buy it," Ye Qichen handed her a black card as they were leaving.

Yu He glanced at the three suitcases behind her. They had arrived with only one, and now there were two more. If she hadn't stopped them, they would have probably emptied half the mall for the two children.

"I don't need the money. I have some. When I need it, I won't hesitate to ask," Yu He pushed the card back.

They had kept her annual dividends and profits from the company for her, and she had accepted them. For now, that money was enough for her to splurge for a while.

If she remembered her old bank card accounts and passwords, she might even have some balance left. So, she didn't need their money for now.

Seeing her determined refusal, Ye Qichen didn't insist further. "Alright, I'll have the driver take you back to Beijing. You can't refuse that."

"No need for a driver. But you can lend me a car," Yu He said.

"Lend? You can pick any car from the garage," Ye Qichen said magnanimously. "If you don't like any, you can name any model you want, and I'll go get it for you immediately."

"No need."

The garage housed many luxury cars collected by Ye Qichen. Yu He picked a low-key white Porsche. With the two children, she drove back to Beijing.

As Yu He drove the car into the villa's courtyard, Duoduo asked in confusion as Xiao Anran came out to greet them, "Mommy, why are we here? Aren't we going to stay at the Junlin International Hotel?"

"From now on, we'll stay here. It's more spacious than a hotel." Just as Yu He finished speaking, her phone rang. It was Xiao Qing calling. They had arranged to view the clinic properties, and it was almost time.

She said to the two little ones, "Yueyue, Duoduo, go with Aunt Anran to see the rooms we've prepared for you. See if you like them. Mommy has to go out for a bit. I'll bring back delicious food for you later. Be good for Auntie Anran."

"Okay, Mommy, you go ahead and be busy!" Duoduo said, uncharacteristically obedient.

Yu He kissed each of them, unloaded the suitcases from the trunk and handed them to Xiao Anran, answered her phone, and drove away.

Xiao Anran first took the two children to see their respective rooms, then went to unpack.

Duoduo, too preoccupied to look at her princess room, ran to Yueyue's room next door and asked anxiously,

"Brother, what are we going to do? If we don't stay at the hotel, how will Mommy and Daddy meet?"

"Don't worry. If there's no opportunity, we'll create one," Yueyue said, pulling out a mini laptop from his small backpack.

He opened the laptop, revealing a navigation display on the map.

"Where is this navigation for?" Duoduo asked curiously.

"Daddy will be going here today," Yueyue said, pointing to the red destination marker.
