Chapter 13 The Vali Group

A Westerner stood up and shouted.

This man was a jeweler from a Western country, primarily dealing in diamonds. He could tell the authenticity and value of this diamond at a glance and offered a high price without hesitation.

The world's largest diamonds were comparable to this one, and their quality might not even surpass it. Those diamonds had fetched prices in the hundreds of millions of US dollars. Although this diamond was smaller, it was worth at least one to two hundred million US dollars.

Several other Westerners became interested when they saw him bid. They knew his identity, and any diamond that piqued his interest was undoubtedly priceless.

Even some Chinese businessmen, who rarely dealt with diamonds, were moved and stepped forward to examine the diamond's quality and authenticity.

"Two hundred million!"

Another Westerner bid, raising the price by one hundred million.

The currency used here was not US dollars, but Chinese Yuan.

"Three hundred million!"

The first Westerner to bid did not give up. The diamond's price was far from its limit.

"Four hundred million!"

This bid came from a Chinese jeweler.

"Mr. Liu, I brought three hundred million US dollars today. Are you sure you want to compete with me?"

The Westerner reminded Liu Wenshi.

They were both jewelers and considered rivals on the international stage.

Liu Wenshi showed no change in expression upon hearing the other party's words.

"Connor, you jest. I only brought four hundred million. If you have more money, I will naturally withdraw." Liu Wenshi did not have a must-win mentality, but he was happy to make his opponent spend more money.

"Four hundred and fifty million!"

Connor increased the bid by another fifty million.

"Five hundred million."

A faint voice rang out. Everyone turned to look and their expressions changed. Even Connor frowned and quietly sat down, having no intention of continuing the competition.

Su Fan was surprised. The person who bid seemed to have an unusual identity.

The person who bid five hundred million was a dark-skinned young man, who looked like he was from Myanmar. He had a buzz cut and wore a military uniform.

"Five hundred million, first call!"

"Five hundred million, second call!"

"Five hundred million, third call!"

"Sold!"

After the woman in the qipao quickly called out three times, the diamond was successfully purchased by the dark-skinned man in the military uniform.

Su Fan was a little unhappy. Based on the situation, the price could have gone even higher, but with this person's appearance, everyone dared not bid. This was clearly unfair competition.

However, being in a foreign country, Su Fan did not want to cause trouble. The money was enough, and it was better to avoid unnecessary complications.

Su Fan did not bid in the subsequent auctions. When the trade fair ended, Su Fan received his payment.

After deducting the exchange's 10% commission, Su Fan ultimately received five hundred and seventeen million five hundred thousand.

This money was enough to resolve the crisis at Su Yutong's company.

The two left the exchange, and halfway there, Su Fan frowned.

He sensed someone was following them.

"Yutong, you go back first. I have something to take care of," Su Fan said to Su Yutong.

"What are you going to do? Do you want to experience the local customs abroad?" Su Yutong pouted and pressed her face close to Su Fan's, questioning him.

"What are you thinking? I really have something to do. You go back first, I'll be there soon."

After Su Fan's repeated persuasion, Su Yutong reluctantly left and returned to the hotel alone.

After Su Yutong was far away, Su Fan turned and took a different path.

The tail behind him hesitated between Su Fan's and Su Yutong's directions, then chose Su Fan's path.

When Su Fan sensed the other party was still following him, he decisively chose to walk towards a secluded area.

Su Fan unknowingly arrived at a construction site. The houses here had just been demolished for reconstruction, and the construction had not yet begun. There was no one around.

"Who are you? Why are you following me?"

With no place to hide, the person was naturally exposed to Su Fan.

"So I've been discovered. I knew it, it seems I was underestimated." The other party was not surprised and showed no panic at being discovered.

"Whose subordinate are you?" Su Fan knew this person had been following him since the exchange, but he wasn't sure whose subordinate they were. There were too many influential people present, and it could be anyone.

"Young Master Li Bidi invites you for a visit. He wishes to discuss diamond transactions with you." The other party did not conceal anything, clearly not afraid of Su Fan retaliating.

"Li Bidi?" Su Fan did not know who this Li Bidi was.

"Tell me something about your young master. I don't know any Li Bidi."

"Young Master Li Bidi is the one who bought your diamond."

After the other party's reminder, Su Fan remembered who Li Bidi was – the dark-skinned man in the military uniform.

Su Fan had no good feelings towards him. If not for him, the diamond could have been sold for a higher price.

"Forget about cooperation. I'm not interested in your young master," Su Fan immediately refused.

"That's not up to you. Either come back with me to see the young master, or I'll take you back by force. You choose."

The other party had clearly anticipated Su Fan's refusal. If Su Fan didn't go, they would forcibly take him.

Su Fan smiled. He had just strengthened his physique with attribute pills, and his strength and speed had increased severalfold. Was he afraid of one person?

"Then try it."

Su Fan also wanted to test his own limits.

Seeing Su Fan's stubbornness, the other party stopped being polite. He pulled out a telescopic baton from behind him and swung it forcefully, extending a metal rod over half a meter long.

Su Fan's expression changed. Fighting was fighting, why bring weapons?

The other party didn't waste any more words with Su Fan and charged forward, aiming a blow at his head.

Su Fan dodged, and the baton whizzed past him.

Su Fan could hear the whistling sound as the baton cut through the air, clearly indicating the other party intended no mercy.

Su Fan seized the opportunity and punched towards the other party's chest.

The other party quickly retracted the baton to block, and Su Fan's punch landed on the baton.

The man was immediately pushed back several steps by Su Fan's force.

He then looked at the baton in his hand, which was already bent, directly warped by Su Fan's punch.

The man was shocked, completely unable to imagine Su Fan possessing such strength.

Su Fan pressed closer, giving the other party no chance to breathe.

He threw another punch at the other party. The man dared not take it head-on and could only try his best to dodge.

But he was still hit in the shoulder by Su Fan's punch. He felt as if his shoulder had been struck by a giant hammer, and his shoulder blade cracked.

"Wait!"

The other party quickly called out to stop. If the fight continued, he feared Su Fan would kill him.

"Li Bidi is the young master of the Wali Group. I hope you'll reconsider. You won't be able to survive in Myanmar if you oppose the Wali Group."

He was no match for Su Fan and could only invoke his powerful backing to make Su Fan hesitate.

"Wali?"

Su Fan's expression changed. He knew something about Wali. They were a notorious criminal organization in Myanmar, specializing in fraud and extortion. Many Chinese citizens had been defrauded and were unable to return home from Myanmar.

"Yes, you know what kind of power our Wali Group has. I hope you don't act foolishly." Seeing that Su Fan knew of the Wali Group, he became a little arrogant.

"If it were any other force, I would have gone with you. Wali? Go to hell!"

Su Fan immediately attacked, raining punches and kicks upon him.
