Su Fan's gaze shifted to the cave entrance. Two people had just left through it, and the Heart of Ice was with them.
Su Fan immediately flashed and vanished before the Ice Queen, disengaging from the battle and pursuing them towards the cave entrance.
"You wish!"
The Ice Queen would not let Su Fan leave so easily.
With a downward press of her hands, the entire ice mountain seemed to tremble as if an earthquake had struck. Chunks of ice fell from the cave ceiling, instantly sealing the cave entrance.
Su Fan was blocked at the cave entrance. With the passage sealed, Su Fan was temporarily unable to leave.
"Little thief! Die!"
With Han Jiangxue and Han Zhongjun gone, the Ice Queen had no further concerns. At her command, the snow spirits that illuminated the Ice City from the cave ceiling converged, a dense swarm that sent shivers down one's spine.
Su Fan merely looked up at the gathering snow spirits.
"Clone,"
Su Fan said indifferently.
Instantly, countless Su Fans appeared. Though not as numerous as the snow spirits, there were still dozens of them. The already small Ice City suddenly felt overcrowded.
The dozens of Su Fans dispersed immediately.
"Fire Meteor"
Dozens of Su Fans simultaneously cast the Fire Meteor spell, and it was the max-level version.
Then, Su Fan's figure vanished, teleporting outside the ice mountain.
He left his clones to entangle with the Ice Queen within the Ice City.
Not long after, the Ice Queen heard rumbling sounds from above.
Boom!
A Fire Meteor struck the ice mountain first, causing countless ice blocks to rain down from the ceiling.
The Ice Queen frowned, a sense of unease growing within her.
Then, the impacts continued. In mere moments, the summit of the ice mountain was leveled. The Ice Queen dodged the falling ice blocks and, through the now-breached summit, witnessed a scene she would never forget.
Countless flaming meteors had arrived above the ice mountain.
The Ice Queen's eyes widened, and the next moment, she was engulfed by the meteors.
Boom!!!
Not far away, Han Zhongjun and Han Jiangxue, who had escaped, heard the commotion behind them and turned to look. Both wore expressions of horror.
The entire ice mountain... was gone!
The entire ice mountain had been razed to the ground. A small mound formed by the meteors burned with fierce flames. The vaporized ice rose, creating a scene akin to a celestial realm.
Han Zhongjun's legs gave out, and he sank to the ground.
Before him, a person he least wanted to see suddenly appeared: Su Fan!
Tianming Su Fan (to distinguish him from the protagonist, he will be referred to as such from now on) looked at the two before him, searching for any sign of the Heart of Ice, but found none.
"Give me the Heart of Ice."
Tianming Su Fan extended his hand towards them.
Han Zhongjun's brow furrowed. He glanced at Han Jiangxue, his eyes filled with ferocity.
"I can give it to you, but let my daughter go first."
Han Zhongjun bargained with Tianming Su Fan.
Tianming Su Fan remained expressionless. After a moment of silence, he nodded slightly.
Han Zhongjun breathed a sigh of relief.
"Xue'er, hurry!"
Han Zhongjun urged Han Jiangxue.
Tears still streaked Han Jiangxue's face. She looked at her father and shook her head slightly.
She felt that if she left, she would never see her father again.
"Brother Su Fan, I know you are a good person. You won't kill us, right?"
Han Jiangxue, crying, looked at Tianming Su Fan and said.
Tianming Su Fan did not recognize Han Jiangxue and looked at Han Zhongjun emotionlessly.
"Hurry."
Tianming Su Fan ignored Han Jiangxue and urged Han Zhongjun.
"Xue'er! You go first. Father is fine. I'll catch up to you soon. Haven't you always wanted to see the outside world? Go south, there are beautiful flowers and plants there."
Han Zhongjun said softly to Han Jiangxue.
Han Jiangxue, with tears in her eyes, shook her head.
"Father, let's go together."
Han Jiangxue said stubbornly.
"Be good. Your Father and Brother Su Fan need to talk. He won't kill me. I'll catch up to you soon."
Han Zhongjun said to Han Jiangxue.
Han Jiangxue looked at Tianming Su Fan with a mixture of belief and doubt.
"Brother Su Fan, you won't kill Father, will you?"
Han Jiangxue confirmed with Su Fan.
"Give me the Heart of Ice, and I won't kill you."
Tianming Su Fan's mission was the Heart of Ice. Once he obtained it, he would not kill anyone.
"See? Now you believe me?"
Han Zhongjun said to Han Jiangxue.
Han Jiangxue nodded slightly, looking at her father with reluctance. She walked south, looking back three times.
Han Zhongjun watched Han Jiangxue leave. Once she disappeared from his sight, his expression turned cold.
"Su Fan, what a clever feint. I shouldn't have let you go in the first place!"
Han Zhongjun glared at Tianming Su Fan.
"Heart of Ice."
Tianming Su Fan extended his hand to Han Zhongjun.
"Hmph! You can dream about it. Go to hell!"
Han Zhongjun roared and charged at Tianming Su Fan.
A punch, heavy and powerful, struck Su Fan's chest.
Bang!
A dull thud. Tianming Su Fan stood unharmed, a shield deflecting Han Zhongjun's attack. Han Zhongjun, on the other hand, had a flushed face and his right hand was instantly fractured.
Pfft!
He spat out a mouthful of blood.
Su Fan's equipment had a damage reflection effect. This blow exceeded Han Zhongjun's strength, and all the damage was reflected back to him, severely wounding him.
Tianming Su Fan frowned.
"The Heart of Ice is not on you."
He felt the Heart of Ice moving further away from him. Its current location was to his south.
"It's on that girl."
Tianming Su Fan suddenly realized he had been tricked. Han Zhongjun had no intention of giving him the Heart of Ice and had instead let the girl take it away.
Tianming Su Fan immediately got up to pursue Han Jiangxue.
"Stop!"
How could Han Zhongjun watch Tianming Su Fan chase his daughter? Dragging his severely wounded body, he tried to block Tianming Su Fan.
Tianming Su Fan did not look back. With a wave of his staff, countless spikes erupted from the ground, impaling Han Zhongjun like a hedgehog.
Han Zhongjun, unwilling, extended his right hand towards Tianming Su Fan's position, as if trying to stop him with his last ounce of strength. But he was already at his limit. In the end, Han Zhongjun died amidst the spikes, his hand outstretched, impaled and facing south.
Tianming Su Fan soon caught up with Han Jiangxue.
Seeing Tianming Su Fan suddenly appear, Han Jiangxue felt a sense of foreboding.
"Where is my father?"
Han Jiangxue questioned Su Fan.
"Give me the Heart of Ice."
Tianming Su Fan said indifferently to Han Jiangxue.
"What Heart of Ice? I don't know. What did you do to my father? You big bad guy!"
Han Jiangxue rushed at Tianming Su Fan and began punching and kicking him.
But Han Jiangxue's small arms and legs were no match for Tianming Su Fan; her blows were barely a tickle.
