Su Fan suddenly found himself in a tricky situation.
That was time!
Time and space were both incredibly powerful abilities.
Su Fan frowned, feeling something was amiss.
If Beliya was truly that powerful, how could he have ended up under Wei Feiyu's command? Did his time ability lack combat effectiveness?
Su Fan began to understand. Perhaps time abilities weren't as terrifying as he'd imagined.
Perhaps he couldn't use world-bending abilities like time stopping, only predict the short future and rewind an object's time, without affecting its present state.
Just like Wei Feiyu now, he could only revert his body to its pre-injury condition, but it wouldn't influence Wei Feiyu's actions in any way.
It could only be considered a support ability.
Wei Feiyu, restored to his optimal state, sneered at Su Fan.
"You are strong, but you cannot possibly be our opponent."
Wei Feiyu finally acknowledged Su Fan's strength, but with Beliya's assistance, he would eventually wear Su Fan down.
With Beliya present, he could always maintain his peak condition, while Su Fan would be constantly depleted, eventually being worn down.
This was the source of his confidence.
Su Fan grew serious. Only by instantly defeating them could he truly eliminate them. The longer it dragged on, the more disadvantageous it would be for him.
"Then let's try Fire Meteor," Su Fan murmured, glancing at the Purple Lightning Azure Frost Sword in his hand.
He hadn't thoroughly studied this sword before; now he had to try it.
Su Fan closed his eyes. His body moved without wind, and he slowly floated upwards.
The Purple Lightning Azure Frost Sword in his hand erupted with scorching flames.
Through the sword, Su Fan could feel the dense aura of fire surrounding him. Threads of crimson light spread all around him.
These were the forces of heaven and earth. Su Fan now understood what the different colored threads of these forces represented: different attributes. Red signified the fire attribute.
Su Fan's heart stirred. The Purple Lightning Azure Frost Sword in his hand seemed to possess a suction force, drawing all the surrounding fire energy into its blade. The sword became even hotter, its entire body glowing with a rich red light.
Wei Feiyu felt a pang of unease, as if the sword in Su Fan's hand posed a grave threat to him.
Knowing he had to stop Su Fan, Wei Feiyu charged directly at him without a word, his fist imbued with the forces of heaven and earth, smashing towards Su Fan.
Su Fan suddenly raised the sword in his hand. The red light from the sword shot straight into the sky, piercing the clouds and soaring towards the heavens.
The red light eventually vanished into the sky, and nothing happened.
Su Fan opened his eyes, somewhat bewildered.
But Wei Feiyu was already upon him. Su Fan's expression shifted.
Instantaneous Step!
There was no time to block; he could only use teleportation to evade.
Su Fan dodged in time, and Wei Feiyu's punch missed, causing no harm to Su Fan.
Su Fan was still confused. A move that felt immensely powerful had simply manifested as a beam of red light? And nothing happened?
Unwilling to accept it, Su Fan looked up at the sky. The expected meteorite did not appear; the sky was empty.
Damn it! It really isn't like in the game. What a rip-off!
Su Fan grumbled inwardly. By then, Wei Feiyu was attacking again.
Su Fan had no choice but to raise his sword to block. Wei Feiyu's fist struck the blade, emitting a metallic clang.
They separated upon contact, not engaging further.
Even so, this direct clash inflicted minor injuries on both of them.
Wei Feiyu didn't fear this; with Beliya present, as long as he wasn't killed, he could be saved. But Su Fan was different. Although he had the Blood Pool, granting him rapid recovery, injuries inflicted by Heavenly Realm experts healed slowly. At the Jade Equilibrium Realm, wounds could already be inhibited from healing, let alone at the Heavenly Realm.
Wei Feiyu gave Su Fan no chance to think, engaging him in a series of direct clashes. With Beliya's constant warnings from the side, Wei Feiyu managed to dodge every killing move Su Fan attempted.
This greatly frustrated Su Fan.
Su Fan looked at Beliya, intending to deal with him first. Without him, Wei Feiyu would no longer be able to predict his moves.
Su Fan's figure flickered, and he teleported behind Beliya.
Just as he was about to strike, he realized Beliya had already fled.
Beliya possessed the ability to foresee the future. Not only could he predict his opponent's actions, but his perception of personal danger was also precise. As soon as Su Fan harbored such intentions, Beliya foresaw the danger and evaded in advance.
Su Fan's plan to eliminate Beliya first also fell through.
Damn it!
Su Fan was so angry he wanted to curse.
These two together were too shameless, disgusting!
As the three of them were locked in combat, they failed to notice a small fireball appearing in the sky, rapidly approaching the direction of Mount Tian.
The Hua Xia Astronomical Bureau immediately became busy.
"Report! A meteorite has been detected, flying towards Earth. It is expected to impact Mount Tian in three minutes and twenty seconds!"
"What! What were you guys doing? How did you not detect it earlier!"
With just over three minutes, there was no time to prepare.
"The meteorite appeared suddenly, with no prior signs," the staff explained.
The meteorite seemed to have materialized out of nowhere, with no warning. They were also puzzled; their previous scans had no record of this meteorite, and they had no idea where it came from.
"Will this meteorite cause harm to the public?" the director asked.
"Given its current descent speed and trajectory, it will land near Mount Tian. There are no residents in the vicinity, so it will not harm the public," the staff replied.
The director breathed a sigh of relief. As long as it didn't cause severe damage, that was fine.
"Prepare yourselves. Upon the meteorite's landing, proceed to the site immediately and have researchers collect samples."
Since there would be no losses, they intended to maximize the value of this meteorite. If it contained any rare elements, it would be a significant discovery.
As Su Fan and Wei Feiyu fought, Su Fan's peripheral vision caught sight of something in the sky: a fireball hurtling towards them.
Su Fan's heart skipped a beat.
Holy cow! It wasn't useless, just a bit late!
This meteorite was at least several thousand meters above the ground, but it was already very close, needing only about ten seconds to land.
Visually, the meteorite was at least the size of a millstone. It couldn't compare to the game, but its power wouldn't be small, after all, it was a real meteorite falling from space.
Su Fan took out a Bagua Token, intending to flee. It was a meteorite, not a game; it wouldn't spare him just because he summoned it.
Before Su Fan could leave, Wei Feiyu was the first to choose to escape.
He had also noticed the meteorite in the sky.
"Wait for me!"
Beliya called out to Wei Feiyu and hurried to catch up.
