In the small building of the Su family, Qin Yexuan called to inquire about Axue's recovery at the villa. Fang Ling Su reassured him that she would return perfectly fine in a few days, with no scars left on her face. Most importantly, Su Xue Qing's mood had improved significantly after visiting her mother in the psychiatric hospital.
Seizing the opportunity, Ling Su informed him about the reorganization of the Tianyi Group. Qin Yexuan responded noncommittally, "So be it."
Hanging up the phone, he began preparing dinner, as the remaining sisters were all waiting. Xiao Yu had failed her exam and was currently being lectured by Su Bing Yan, looking dejected. Ning Shuang was engrossed in cases from the police department, clad in shorts and a tank top, cleaning her gun amidst a pile of dirty laundry. Only Ming Yue was relatively free, having a few days off from the hospital. She decided to study the acupuncture techniques gifted by her brother-in-law.
Su Bing Yan, wearing an apron, helped her brother-in-law arrange the vegetables. She couldn't resist coming over to massage his back. "Brother-in-law, you've been working so hard these past few days. I heard the Tianyi Group is undergoing a major reshuffle, with many middle and high-level executives being purged. Is your job okay?"
Qin Yexuan smiled. "I seem to have become the chairman of the Tianyi Group. The entire group belongs to me."
Su Bing Yan was taken aback, then chuckled. "Brother-in-law, it's rare for you to make jokes."
Qin Yexuan put down his spatula, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. The steaming boiled fish smelled delicious. Su Bing Yan quickly grabbed a tissue, stood on tiptoe, and helped him wipe away the sweat. Their bodies pressed close together. Bing Yan looked at her brother-in-law's profile, noticing a few gray hairs at his temples. Her heart ached as she thought of the recent chaos and how this man had always stepped forward to help, tirelessly rushing around. Overcome by emotion, she boldly puckered her red lips and kissed his cheek.
Qin Yexuan stiffened, unsure how to react. Although he had long sensed some of Bing Yan's feelings, this was their first intimate contact. He was also surprised by the uncharacteristic boldness of the usually composed Su Bing Yan.
In the ensuing silence, there was a clatter. At the kitchen doorway, Su Ming Yue dropped the acupuncture box she was holding. Her eyes widened, and she covered her mouth in disbelief. "Brother-in-law, second sister, what... what are you doing?"
Su Bing Yan flushed with embarrassment. "N-no, I was just helping brother-in-law remove a gray hair."
Su Ming Yue seemed shocked and retreated, rushing upstairs to her room.
Outside, Su Ning Shuang, drenched in sweat, emerged from the gym. Droplets of perspiration rolled down her fair skin, her tank top soaked and clinging to her. Unaware of the revealing sight, she barged in. "Huh? Brother-in-law, you have gray hair? Let me see." She strode over, cupped Qin Yexuan's face, and examined it closely, her sweaty body brushing against his arm. After a long moment, she found a gray hair. "My eyesight is good, right?"
Qin Yexuan was extremely embarrassed and coughed nervously, quickly leaving the kitchen. He splashed cold water on his face in the bathroom. Just as he regained his composure and turned around, he saw several pairs of small undergarments in the laundry basket beside him, all changed by the Su sisters. In the past, his heart had been like stone, unaffected by such private items. But now, his heart actually fluttered.
Qin Yexuan rubbed his head and poured cold water over his entire head. He sighed, almost wanting to escape. To flee this tender little building. It was a place of endless spring, blooming with flowers, but he was their brother-in-law!
