But he had promised to give Gu Nian half, and once he said it, he had to do it; you couldn’t think that just because the child was small, you could easily fool them.
Inside the room, Gu Nian was rolling around on the bed, delighted with the five hundred taels of Silver.

By morning, Little Hu had already run out first.
Gu Nian went out and saw Little Hu pulling Sanhu aside to talk, and when they saw Gu Nian coming out, they quickly shut their mouths.

"Nothing!" Little Hu’s obviously guilty expression caught Gu Nian’s attention even more.

"Of course, what else could I be saying!" With that, Little Hu ran to pick up his small basket and said, "I’m going to cut grass, do you want to come?"
"You go ahead, second brother asked me to stay home and reheat the food before taking it to our parents later." Sanhu said.
