Lan Yu Xi shot her a smiling glance, "Still trying to play the victim with me?"
Yan Chu Ting shook her head, "I'm really not. Ever since that last incident, I swore not to use a cent from home. These past few months, I've been self-sufficient, living on my own."
"Then you didn't trade the car your parents bought you for this place?"
Yan Chu Ting's eyes darkened slightly, "The car wasn't bought for me by them. It was a birthday gift from my maternal grandmother."
Lan Yu Xi pursed her lips, then put an arm around her shoulder and they walked out.
After lunch, Lan Yu Xi drove Yan Chu Ting to where she needed to go, then called Ying.
"Ying, have someone find out who bought Yan Chu Ting's car, and get it back."
"Yes."
Lan Yu Xi hung up, looking out at the street, suddenly unsure of where to go.
Then, she thought of someone and flicked her turn signal, merging onto the ring road.

Fu Yue Xi heard a knock and opened the door with a frown, "Why is the food being delivered so late... You, why are you here?"
Lan Yu Xi curved her lips into a smile, "I came to see you. How are you? Are you settling in okay?"
Fu Yue Xi forced a stiff smile, "It's fine. Come in."
Lan Yu Xi's gaze lingered on her face for a moment. While Nan Xiao and Ying both said she looked like her, she could still spot the differences at a glance.
After Lan Yu Xi entered, Fu Rui Xi, with a frown, closed the door.
Lan Yu Xi surveyed the room. It was a bit messy, with clothes strewn about, and fast-food containers still piled on the coffee table.
"This is all you eat?" Lan Yu Xi turned to look at her.
Fu Rui Xi lowered her eyes and said softly, "I don't like the hotel food. And when I go out, people often mistake me for someone else, which is troublesome."
Lan Yu Xi glanced at the small scar near her outer eye that hadn't quite healed, "Once the tear mole is gone, the chances of being mistaken will likely be much lower. How is the scar on your arm? Has it faded?"
"It's faded a lot. Thank you."
"I don't deserve your thanks. Rather, I owe you an apology. I believe no one wants to live with someone else's face, but you've gone through this because of me. How about this, once you've recovered a bit more, I'll take you for some minor cosmetic surgery to restore your original appearance as much as possible."
