The family of three first went to see Nai Nai. She had been moved to a regular ward, and both Camino and Lan Xiao Qi were there. Despite undergoing such a major surgery, Nai Nai showed no signs of pain on her face. Her happiness and excitement were evident even to Chao Chao.
Nai Nai hadn't expected that by saving Mu Mu out of instinct, she would earn Lan Xiao Qi's companionship.
Camino shot her a helpless glance. His sister had embarrassed the royal family enough!
Lan Yuxi walked to the bedside and affectionately held Nai Nai's hand. "Nai Nai, thank you. If it weren't for you, Mu Mu might have been gone."
Nai Nai shook her head in shame. "It wasn't me who saved Mu Mu; Mu Mu saved me."
Lan Xiao Qi looked at the monitor. "Xi'er, if you're all right, the three of you can go back. Your presence here is causing her heart rate and blood pressure to rise."
