"What do you mean by hiding your ki?" Neiru asked, confused.
"It's like this," Krillin said, and his ki suddenly vanished.
Neiru: "..."
"I... I don't know how to do that," Neiru shook his head.
"I'll teach you. It's not difficult to learn," Krillin said.
"You guys go over there. I'm going to copy this thing. Don't disturb me!" Piccolo said, annoyed.
"You two, come with me!" Krillin called out.
Then, Krillin descended rapidly through the air with Neiru and Dende.
Gohan looked at Krillin, then at Piccolo.
The next moment, Gohan appeared beside Krillin and began teaching Dende how to control ki.
Piccolo, high in the sky, released his magic, which quickly enveloped the Dragon Ball Radar.
Instantly, the Dragon Ball Radar split in two, with one being copied.
"Hoo..."
Piccolo took a deep breath.
Piccolo pressed the copied Dragon Ball Radar, but found that there was no information displayed, and the screen didn't even light up.
"Hey, Krillin, the copied screen isn't lighting up," Piccolo said, descending to Krillin's side.
"It's fine if the screen doesn't light up. I have a way," Krillin thought. "Can you conjure a pen? A white oil-based marker."
"Snap!"
Piccolo raised his hand, and a marker appeared in his palm.
The marker was white.
Krillin took the marker and drew seven circles on the screen of the Dragon Ball Radar.
"You... what do you mean?" Piccolo asked.
"I'll draw them a simple map. Maybe they'll fall for it," Krillin smiled slightly. "By the way, where is the nearest Dragon Ball?"
Gohan picked up the Dragon Ball Radar, pressed a button, and showed it to Krillin.
"Got it," Krillin nodded and, on the copied Dragon Ball Radar, drew a white circle in the corresponding position based on that direction.
"You're not actually going to tell them the location, are you?" Neiru asked with some concern.
"To ensure our safety, I've decided to give them one Dragon Ball... Regardless, they already have one Dragon Ball. If they become strong enough, we might be killed. So, it's not a big deal for them to get two. We can just find a way to take them back later," Krillin mused. "If they get the Dragon Ball Radar and find it useless, they might suspect we stole theirs. Then they'll probably search for us all over the world, and our situation could become dangerous."
"Hmph, you're a cunning little thing," Piccolo chuckled. "Let's do as you say."
"Heh heh," Krillin grinned.
"Alright, it's decided then," Neiru nodded.
Krillin quickly drew several circles on the screen of the Dragon Ball Radar with the marker and then casually placed it near a cactus.
"Let's go! That powerful guy is probably coming. His ki is too strong!" Piccolo urged.
"Yes!" Krillin responded.
"Have you guys learned to control your ki?" Gohan asked.
"We're almost there. As long as we practice a bit more, it shouldn't be a big problem," Neiru replied.
"Me too," Dende replied.
The group quickly slipped away, gradually concealing their ki.
On Frieza's side, only Frieza, Dodoria, and Zarbon remained.
The rest of their subordinates had been left far behind by the three of them.
Frieza wasn't using his full speed, otherwise Zarbon and Dodoria wouldn't be able to keep up.
"Hmm? A strange fellow!" Dodoria paused, sensing something was not right.
"What is it?" Frieza asked.
"Lord Frieza, a few individuals with ki readings were in this vicinity just now. It seems they knew we were coming and fled immediately. Now, even their ki readings have vanished," Dodoria replied.
"Oh? So, they can control their power levels at will," Frieza chuckled. "Nothing impressive. I've encountered similar races before."
"Controlling power levels at will... Can they lower their power to a level undetectable by scouters?" Dodoria marveled.
"Let's check if they took the scouter," Frieza inquired. "Look for a large cactus nearby!"
"Lord Frieza, there's a large cactus over there. Perhaps it's the one Vegeta mentioned," Zarbon pointed towards a large cactus in the distance.
Frieza immediately boarded his aircraft and flew towards it, appearing near the cactus.
Frieza spotted the Dragon Ball Radar placed on the cactus at a glance.
"Is that the thing?" Frieza squinted at it.
Dodoria quickly stepped forward, retrieved the Dragon Ball Radar, and handed it to Frieza with both hands.
Frieza picked up the Dragon Ball Radar and examined it closely.
What was this strange object?
Was the button on it just for show?
Why were there seven dots on this screen-like thing?
Dodoria and Zarbon also leaned in curiously to look.
"You two take a look and try to figure out how to use this thing?" Frieza handed the Dragon Ball Radar to Dodoria.
Dodoria and Zarbon spent a while studying the Dragon Ball Radar.
Finally, the two of them came up with a plausible answer.
"Have you figured it out?" Frieza squinted at Zarbon and Dodoria.
"Lord Frieza, after our reasonable study, we've concluded that this might be a map," Dodoria said cautiously.
"Oh? Then tell me, why call a map a radar?" Frieza snorted.
"Well... Lord Frieza, you know that Vegeta likes to mess around. It's very possible he intentionally called this thing a radar to mislead us..." Dodoria replied immediately.
"What you're saying makes sense," Frieza nodded in agreement. "Vegeta does like to mess around."
"That shameless guy, intentionally creating a sophisticated-looking device disguised as a radar, when it's actually just a map," Zarbon said indignantly.
"So, have you figured out where the Dragon Balls on the map are?" Frieza asked.
"Lord Frieza, look, the dot in the center indicates the Dragon Ball we've collected," Dodoria explained. "And among these dots, the closest Dragon Ball should be the one to the southwest... North is up, south is down, west is left, and east is right. This is universal even in space..."
Frieza: "..."
"Ahem... Vegeta even included the Dragon Ball we collected?" Frieza squinted and asked.
