Chapter 298 Trunks's Ultra Instinct

"I don't quite understand, but it seems very impressive," Trunks nodded vigorously.

"This little dark egg is the God of Destruction from the Second Universe. His name is Heles," Vegeta said.

Heles: "..."

Who is he calling a little dark egg?

Heles's chest rose and fell, suppressing the urge to unleash destruction.

"Hello, Godmother," Trunks greeted politely.

Heles, who was about to get angry, lost all his rage upon hearing Trunks's words.

"Ah... good son," Heles replied.

"Well then, you two, cultivate him well. I'll be back in a few days to check. If his strength doesn't grow fast enough, I think this little bottle can hold two more Gods of Destruction!" Vegeta said, shaking the small bottle in his hand.

"You're threatening us again, kid. Do you believe we'll smash that little bottle and let them all out?" Rumsshi's face darkened.

"I'm leaving," Vegeta said, without further ado, and immediately used Instant Transmission to depart.

Only Trunks, Rumsshi, and Heles remained at the scene.

As for Kusu, to avoid being a third wheel, she had intentionally gone on a trip.

Staying here would only be an eyesore.

Kusu was quite self-aware.

"Hey, kid, show me your strongest power. Let me see what your level is like?" Rumsshi commanded Trunks.

"Ah... alright," Trunks nodded and took a deep breath.

"Crack!"

Trunks immediately transformed into a Super Saiyan.

Then, Trunks silently waited for Rumsshi to speak.

"That's it?" Rumsshi was taken aback. "Is that all?"

"This... God-father, this is my strongest transformation..." Trunks said.

"Attack me with all you've got," Rumsshi gestured.

"Then I won't hold back, God-father..." Trunks's expression became solemn.

"Bring it on," Rumsshi said.

Trunks flew rapidly towards Rumsshi and threw a heavy punch.

The seemingly powerful punch, upon hitting Rumsshi's body, didn't even cause him to flinch.

Trunks's eyes widened.

It felt like I punched into nothingness.

"Bang!"

Rumsshi flicked his nose, sending Trunks flying backward.

Trunks rolled dozens of times on the ground and was severely injured by the time he landed.

"Oh no... I almost accidentally killed him." Rumsshi's expression changed slightly, and he quickly pulled out a Senzu Bean and flew to Trunks's side to feed it to him.

"Vegeta, that guy... he's given you such a fragile godson," Heles sighed.

"Hey, are you alright?" Rumsshi quickly asked.

"Ah... I'm fine... God-father, you're so amazing!" Trunks was incredibly shocked.

"There's still a lot you don't know," Rumsshi sighed. "Train hard, child."

"Yes, God-father!" Trunks replied respectfully.

After spending three days with Trunks, Rumsshi was quite satisfied with his performance.

"Hey, Heles, this kid has a much better personality than Vegeta," Rumsshi said.

"I think so too," Heles nodded.

"Good, good, cultivating him as a godson is a very good choice," Rumsshi felt he got along well with Trunks.

"So, what he said about playing basketball was actually playing basketball?" Heles asked.

"You're right," Rumsshi nodded.

The next moment, Rumsshi and Heles exchanged a glance, sparks flashing in their eyes.

"How about we find another place to play a game of basketball?" Rumsshi suggested.

"Destruction!" Heles unleashed a blast of destructive energy.

Rumsshi swiftly soared into the sky.

Heles pursued closely from behind.

"Huh? Huh? God-father, God-mother, what's wrong?" Trunks looked bewildered.

Why are you two fighting all of a sudden?

Trunks quickly chased after them, wanting to break up the fight.

However, Trunks's speed was too slow, and he was soon left far behind.

It took over two hours for Rumsshi and Heles to return from the starry sky.

"God-father, God-mother, where did you two go? Are you alright?" Trunks asked.

"We went out for a fight, nothing serious," Rumsshi twitched his elephant trunk, which shone with a greasy sheen.

Trunks wore a puzzled expression.

Why does his god-father's nose look like something was applied to it?

It's so strange.

...

Time passed quickly.

Half a year flew by.

Rumsshi Planet.

"Crack!"

A purple-red aura erupted from Trunks, his hair stood on end, and his eyebrows sank into his eye sockets as he activated Ultra Instinct, albeit a most basic form.

"Bang bang bang!"

Trunks launched a fierce assault on Vegeta.

Vegeta easily countered, catching all of Trunks's attacks with his palm.

The battle lasted for about 10 minutes.

"Bang!"

Vegeta swatted Trunks away with a single palm.

Trunks fell to the ground, the purple-red aura dissipating, and he reverted to his base form.

"Dad is so amazing, he can easily defeat me in this state without even transforming," Trunks was astonished.

"Not bad, Trunks. This state of yours can easily defeat those two Androids from the future," Vegeta said. "When you return to the future, you must continue to train hard and never slack off."

"Yes, Dad!" Trunks nodded solemnly.

"Pack your things and prepare to go back," Vegeta said. "Your mother in the future must be waiting anxiously."

"Yes, Dad," Trunks replied.

"Here, take this too," Vegeta said, throwing a Capsule Corp. capsule at Trunks.

"Snap!"

Trunks caught the capsule, a look of confusion on his face.

"Dad, this is..." Trunks inquired.

"This is a spaceship. I've already set the destination for you. Press the start button, and it will arrive at Planet Namek in three days," Vegeta said. "When you get to Planet Namek, find the Grand Elder and ask for the Dragon Balls to make your wish."

"Really? Dad! That's wonderful! Does that mean Dad from our era can be resurrected too?" Trunks was overjoyed.

"As long as they haven't reincarnated, they can be resurrected," Vegeta nodded. "However, the Namekian Dragon Balls can only revive one person at a time."
