"Stop with the preamble, get to the point," Vegeta urged.
"Around 10 AM on May 12th, three years from now, two terrifying monsters will appear on an island nine kilometers from South City. They will possess power unimaginable to anyone of this era!" Trunks said gravely. "They are androids born on this planet, or you can think of them as robots, created by Dr. Gero, a scientist of the Red Ribbon Army."
"Hmm," Vegeta said, unfazed.
"The Red Ribbon Army was destroyed by Master Goku a long time ago, but Dr. Gero is still alive and continuing his research," Trunks replied.
"Is it because of these androids that you've come to this era?" Vegeta asked.
"Yes... yes," Trunks nodded. "Father, please don't underestimate those two androids! They are incredibly terrifying killing machines. They even killed their creator, Dr. Gero, without mercy!"
"Hmm, and then?" Vegeta smiled.
"Father, please maintain a proper attitude! You absolutely must not underestimate them!" Trunks' expression turned serious. "In the battle three years from now, you, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Piccolo will all be killed! Even Brother Gohan, who taught me martial arts, died four years ago..."
Vegeta didn't respond.
Bulma, standing nearby, said nothing either.
Could the future son's androids truly be this powerful?
Were they even stronger than the Gods of Destruction?
"Father, you know, once Piccolo dies, the Dragon Balls will disappear, and no one can be revived," Trunks said solemnly. "Because the androids are constantly taking people's lives, the future I live in is like hell."
"Don't the Angels have the power to revive people? Didn't you ask an Angel for help?" Bulma couldn't help but interject.
"Angels? What are those?" Trunks blinked in confusion.
"Bulma, he's not our son," Vegeta stated.
"Huh? What are you talking about, Vegeta?" Bulma faltered, a bit taken aback.
"What I mean is, he's the son of you and me from another timeline. Strictly speaking, he's not our direct son," Vegeta said, having finally understood.
This Trunks must have encountered some temporal anomalies while time traveling, causing him to jump to this timeline.
This particular Trunks was, in a true sense, Vegeta's son.
The son of the Vegeta who *didn't* travel through time.
Therefore, Vegeta's statement that this Trunks wasn't his direct son was understandable.
Trunks: "..."
"They're too powerful! They're too powerful!" Trunks said gravely.
Vegeta: "..."
"I've managed to steer the conversation elsewhere, and you still managed to bring it back?" Vegeta mused.
"What do you mean?" Trunks grew even more bewildered.
"Never mind, continue," Vegeta said.
"Father, I originally came to this era to find Master Goku, because Master Goku wouldn't participate in the battle and would soon die of a viral heart disease!" Trunks said, immediately pulling out a small bottle and handing it to Vegeta. "This is the special medicine for viral heart disease. As soon as Master Goku falls ill, have him take this medicine, and he will recover."
"Fine," Vegeta nodded, not objecting.
"Actually, doing this isn't quite right, as it will change history..." Trunks trailed off, unsure how to continue. "This... my timeline is quite strange... it's completely different from what I understand."
"Alright, stop talking about these unimportant things," Vegeta said.
"Father, they are truly strong, you must not underestimate them!" Trunks emphasized again.
"Very well, then I shall let you witness a realm you can never reach," Vegeta said with a smile.
"A realm I can never reach? Father, what are you talking about?" Trunks was taken aback.
*Snap!*
Golden light erupted from Vegeta's body, and he immediately transformed into a Super Saiyan.
Trunks was slightly surprised again.
Why did Father turn into a Super Saiyan?
"See, this is Super Saiyan," Vegeta said.
Trunks nodded blankly.
*Snap!*
The golden aura radiating from Vegeta intensified.
*Crackle... crackle...*
Arcs of electricity snaked around Vegeta's body, crackling audibly.
Upon seeing Vegeta's transformation, Trunks froze.
"What... what kind of transformation is this?" Trunks stammered in shock.
"This is Super Saiyan beyond Super Saiyan, you can think of it as Super Saiyan 2," Vegeta said with a smile.
"Super... Super Saiyan 2?" Cold sweat trickled down Trunks' face; he was truly witnessing something new.
Father's ki felt so powerful.
No wonder Father was so confident.
With such immense power, defeating those two androids shouldn't be an issue, right?
"Next..." Vegeta said, as golden light surged outward from his body, accompanied by an explosion of immense energy.
Immediately, Vegeta's hair rapidly grew longer, soon reaching past his waist.
Trunks was utterly stunned, his eyes wide with boundless shock.
"This is Super Saiyan 3," Vegeta stated.
Trunks was speechless, his shock reaching an unprecedented level.
"Next..." Vegeta said, transforming once more, instantly altering his appearance.
Trunks stared, dumbfounded.
What was this transformation now?
"This is Super Saiyan 4," Vegeta explained.
Trunks: "..."
"Next..." Vegeta continued, as even greater energy surged from him, and his hair turned silver-white.
Trunks was dumbfounded.
"This is Super Saiyan 5!" Vegeta smiled.
Trunks' mouth hung open, utterly incapable of speech.
"Don't rush your surprise, there's more," Vegeta chuckled.
"Th-there's more?" Trunks' face was slick with cold sweat.
*Snap!*
Flames suddenly ignited around Vegeta's body, and his hair turned red.
"This is Super Saiyan God stacked upon Super Saiyan 5, you can think of it as Super Saiyan 6," Vegeta said.
Trunks was completely astonished.
"Next..." Vegeta continued.
"Th-there's still more?" Trunks' expression of surprise was now one of utter disbelief.
*Snap!*
Vegeta's hair rapidly transformed into a purplish-red hue.
"This is Ultra Instinct stacked upon Super Saiyan 5, you can think of it as Super Saiyan 7," Vegeta said.
