Chapter 11 Gods of Earth

Earth.

The Lookout.

Seeing such an enormous object appear high in the sky, Kami frowned, his expression changing repeatedly.

Kami realized it was a spaceship.

There was someone inside the ship.

This person gave off a feeling of unfathomable depth.

Who could it be?

Who had come to Earth?

"Lord Kami..." Mr. Popo also grew wary, clenching his fists tightly.

"It's an extraterrestrial visitor!" Kami said gravely. "I don't know why aliens are visiting Earth! What do they want here?"

Mr. Popo remained silent.

"Fortune or misfortune, it cannot be avoided!" Kami gripped his staff tightly.

*Creak...*

The spaceship's hatch opened.

"He's coming out!" Kami's expression was solemn.

Sweat beaded on Mr. Popo's face.

"Whoosh!"

Vegeta flew out of the spaceship, hovering above Kami and Mr. Popo, looking down at them.

Both Kami and Mr. Popo were slightly taken aback by Vegeta's appearance.

"Is that a child?" Mr. Popo asked.

"A child with a tail..." Kami frowned.

He frowned because the energy within this child was immensely powerful.

It evoked an irresistible sense of awe.

"Esteemed extraterrestrial visitor, state your purpose," Kami, trying to calm himself, looked up at Vegeta and said.

"I am here to find the Dragon Balls. That is my purpose," Vegeta replied, descending with his hands in his pockets and landing opposite Kami and Mr. Popo.

"You... how do you know about the Dragon Balls?" Kami's expression shifted dramatically.

"That's none of your concern," Vegeta smiled. "Tell me the location of the Dragon Balls!"

"I apologize, though I created the Dragon Balls, they scatter across the world the moment they are made, awaiting discovery by those destined to find them," Kami explained. "Therefore, even I don't know their precise locations."

"Stop babbling. You are the god of this planet. You surely know better than I where the Dragon Balls are," Vegeta scoffed.

Kami fell silent.

"You're not going to tell me?" Vegeta sneered. "Then let me see what your power level is."

Saying this, Vegeta produced a scouter, placed it on his ear, and pressed the button.

"Not bad, power levels are 220 and 180!" Vegeta smiled.

After speaking, Vegeta removed the scouter.

It was best not to wear this thing unless necessary.

After all, Frieza might be listening.

It was trouble enough that he knew about the Dragon Balls.

"What? Power level?" Kami was stunned.

"Simply put, power level is your combat ability. You can think of it as the energy value within you," Vegeta explained with a smile. "You are 220, and the black egg behind you is 180."

Mr. Popo: "..."

Black egg?

Who was he calling an egg?

Was that polite?

"Now, I'll tell you my power level," Vegeta said, holding up a finger.

"What? 1000?" Kami's expression changed drastically.

The gap was too immense.

If what he said was true, no matter how hard I tried, I would likely not be his match.

Even using Master Mutaito's Evil Containment Wave, it would be difficult to seal him.

Furthermore, doing so would only enrage him completely.

I'll wait and see what he intends to do first.

"No, it's 10000!" Vegeta corrected.

"You... what did you say?" Kami's eyes widened, filled with terror.

"10000?" Mr. Popo was even more terrified.

If that were true,

we would have no chance of winning.

A power level of 10,000!

Are you even human?

"Don't worry, I'm not here to invade Earth. I can guarantee that," Vegeta stated.

Kami gazed at Vegeta with deep eyes.

Indeed, this child looked somewhat wicked, but his inner world was peaceful, as if free from major evil intentions.

"What wish do you intend to make?" Kami asked.

"You'll know when the time comes," Vegeta smiled.

"Very well, I agree. I will tell you the location of the Dragon Balls, but you must promise not to do anything that would harm Earth!" Kami said. "If you break your promise, even though I am not your match, someone will eventually come to punish you!"

"Enough with the nagging," Vegeta said, growing impatient.

"The location of the first Dragon Ball is in that direction, where there is a deep sea. At the bottom of the ocean is a pirate base," Kami pointed to a spot below. "The Dragon Ball is inside the pirate base, specifically in the pirates' treasury. You should be able to find the treasury easily once you enter the base."

"Got it," Vegeta nodded.

The location Kami mentioned for the first Dragon Ball must be the one in the pirate treasure.

"I'll go retrieve that Dragon Ball now. You continue brewing up the location of the second one," Vegeta said, then took flight immediately.

"Whoosh!"

Vegeta pushed his speed to the extreme, disappearing from his spot in an instant.

The speed was so great that Kami and Mr. Popo's expressions changed again upon seeing it.

"Such speed... even I, a god, cannot see him!" Kami quickly walked to the edge of the Lookout.

Mr. Popo followed behind.

They both peered downwards.

"He's already entered the deep sea..." Kami said. "In such a short time?"

Mr. Popo silently wiped sweat from his brow.

This little fellow was truly terrifying.

About 10 minutes later.

Vegeta returned to the Lookout, carrying the first Dragon Ball and a treasure chest.

Vegeta tossed the Dragon Ball and the chest onto the ground.

Kami blinked in surprise.

This alien wasn't even sparing the treasure chest?

What use did he have for those jewels?

"Location of the second Dragon Ball," Vegeta demanded.

"The second Dragon Ball is on a remote island over there," Kami pointed towards the location of the second Dragon Ball.

Vegeta moved swiftly, flying rapidly towards the remote island.

Before long, Vegeta's eyes lit up as he clearly saw the appearance of the island.

Isn't this Master Roshi's island?

"Crack!"

Vegeta descended from the sky, landing on Master Roshi's island with his hands in his pockets.

"You... you are..." The turtle, who was sunbathing on the beach, his expression changed drastically upon seeing Vegeta's arrival.

This guy flew here.

"Shut up! I don't talk to turtles!" Vegeta said.

The turtle: "..."

"Ahem... I'm a sea turtle, not a regular turtle!" the turtle corrected.

"Get lost," Vegeta lightly kicked the turtle, sending him flying.

The turtle felt as if ten thousand mythical creatures were stampeding through his mind.
