Chapter 4 Champa and Vados

“Idiot! You don't even know me? Don't tell me you can't even recognize my voice!” Qiu Yi shouted angrily.

“Uh… are we close?” Vegeta asked.

Qiu Yi clenched his fists tightly, his forehead veins bulging with anger.

“You think so! We met at the training camp last year!” Qiu Yi roared.

“It’s been so long, I don't remember anymore,” Vegeta replied.

Qiu Yi almost cried.

You…

It’s only been a year!

And you call it a long time.

“Only a year! Just one year!” Qiu Yi shouted.

“Are you a broken record?” Vegeta said unhurriedly.

Qiu Yi: “……”

“You, you… you just wait, Vegeta! I will never forgive you!” Qiu Yi hated Vegeta to death.

“By the way, who are you, exactly?” Vegeta asked curiously.

“I am…” Qiu Yi was about to say his name.

“Never mind, it doesn't matter,” Vegeta shook his head. “It’s just a nobody anyway.”

After speaking, Vegeta hung up the call.

Qiu Yi: “……”

Qiu Yi looked up at the boundless stars, feeling bewildered in his spaceship.

I’m a nobody?

Are you kidding me?

My battle power is 1000 higher than yours!

You…

Vegeta, who gave you the confidence?

And you dare to hang up on me.

I will personally kill you!

I will make you understand the consequences of insulting me.

Qiu Yi wished he could catch up to Vegeta's spaceship right now and devour it.

However, Qiu Yi's spaceship was about as fast as Vegeta's.

The two spaceships were quite far apart, making it difficult to reach with Ki blasts.

Qiu Yi was anxious but helpless.

The more Qiu Yi thought about it, the angrier he became, so he called Vegeta again.

“You again?” Vegeta grunted.

“Vegeta, why don't you take a good look at your battle power reading!” Qiu Yi sneered. “My battle power is 1000 higher than yours!”

“So what?” Vegeta said.

Qiu Yi: “……”

Qiu Yi was completely stumped.

So what?

“Do you know how big of a gap 1000 battle power is? I'll crush you into the ground! Wahahahaha! Just you wait!” Qiu Yi burst into mad laughter.

“Are you an idiot?” Vegeta chuckled. “Don't you know we Saiyans are a warrior race?”

“Hmph, don't be foolish! With such a small amount of battle power, you call yourselves a warrior race!” Qiu Yi scoffed. “Do you dare to find a place for a deathmatch! Going to Earth takes too long, at least three months! What better things could we do in three months?”

Vegeta thought carefully.

This guy actually has a point.

Having someone constantly following you is annoying, Vegeta thought.

What if his spaceship is faster than mine and he blows mine up? That would be too much trouble.

I need to take care of him somewhere.

He's just a nobody anyway.

“Very well. We will pass by Planet Varonde in three days. Let's settle our score on that planet,” Vegeta proposed.

“Planet Varonde? Of course, no problem!” Qiu Yi was taken aback that Vegeta would agree. He then smiled and said, “You won't run away as soon as I land, will you?”

“Childish!” Vegeta said and hung up.

Vegeta was also considering the 1000 battle power difference.

My current battle power is only 12,000.

According to the scanner, that guy's battle power is 13,000.

If we fight head-on, I might not be his match.

And I don't have the energy to waste all my time on him.

It seems I need to employ a surprise tactic.

What kind of tactic would be best?

Vegeta began to try out some of his existing moves.

After all, there are only three days.

In three days, I need to rapidly increase my battle power.

Given Vegeta's current physique and other factors, it would be a bit difficult.

Of course, an increase of a few hundred should be no problem.

Three days passed quickly.

Planet Varonde.

This was a large planet situated in the middle of the universe.

The inhabitants were mostly alien visitors, with very few of the original natives remaining.

Many alien visitors, spotting a business opportunity, had turned this planet into a commercial hub focused on delicious food.

Many space travelers who enjoyed tourism would often stop by this planet, perhaps to taste the flavors of their homeland.

“Whoosh! Whoosh!”

A brilliant flame, like a star, streaked across the sky.

Near this brilliant flame, a purplish-red stream of light also flickered.

The two streams of light quickly descended onto the planet.

Appearing on this planet were Beerus, the God of Destruction of the Sixth Universe, and the Angel Vados.

“Oh my, oh my… the food on this planet seems quite good. Lord Champa, let’s go try it quickly,” Vados said with a smile.

“Hmph, I’m in a bad mood! Especially that statue!” Champa grunted, looking at a giant statue in the center of the planet.

This statue was of Beerus!

The statue of Beerus was pointing at the ground, his eyes sharp and looking majestic.

“Isn’t this a statue of Lord Beerus? It’s quite lifelike,” Vados said with a smile.

“What the… why is no one in our universe sending me a statue?” Champa bared his teeth.

“Lord Champa, think of it this way… only those who no longer exist are sculpted into statues, to commemorate or worship them,” Vados said in a low voice.

Champa’s eyes lit up immediately, and he gave Vados a vigorous thumbs-up.

Vados, you’re truly talented!

Afterward, the two of them sampled the rare delicacies of the Sixth Universe on this planet.

“Vados, this planet looks quite prosperous. I can't help but want to destroy it!” Champa said, eating a chicken leg and rubbing his hands, suppressing the urge to destroy the planet.

“Lord Champa is just jealous, isn't he?” Vados smiled.

“So what if I’m jealous!” Champa grunted, casually tossing the chicken leg to the ground. “It’s because our Sixth Universe doesn't have such prosperous planets.”

“Lord Champa doesn't pay attention to environmental hygiene at all,” Vados sighed.

“Hmph, I’m the God of Destruction, why should I care about environmental hygiene?” Champa didn’t bother with such things and grabbed another piece of chicken leg to eat. “By the way, why hasn’t the planet in our universe developed?”

“Lord Champa destroyed our universe's planet 1000 years ago, didn’t you?” Vados said.
