"You make a point there," Rumsey nodded, then asked, "By the way, you mentioned earlier that you still needed to return to the Seventh Universe?"
"Of course," Vegeta replied.
"Why would you go back? Wouldn't it be better to just be a God of Destruction in the Tenth Universe?" Rumsey suggested. "If you were a God of Destruction, our lives would be shared, and I'd feel much safer."
"You shouldn't think like that," Vegeta shook his head and responded. "If I were to become a God of Destruction, I'd go around challenging all the other Gods of Destruction. If I were to die, you would vanish with me."
Rumsey: "..."
"He actually seems like he'd do it," Rumsey was speechless.
"So, your position as God of Destruction is only temporary?" Whis asked.
"Just messing around," Vegeta grinned.
"Forget it, whatever... just buy me a few thousand more years, and I can basically just relax in our universe," Rumsey chuckled.
"I'll do my best. I'll take advantage of every opportunity as thanks for your teachings over the years," Vegeta said, then suddenly remembered something and took out the small notebook he always carried.
Rumsey blinked.
*What are you taking out that notebook for again?*
Vegeta flipped open the notebook and looked at the number.
80060!
"It's still the same number, hasn't changed," Rumsey leaned in to look.
"It hasn't changed, I just didn't want to forget," Vegeta replied, and put the notebook back.
"I don't understand what you're trying to do," Rumsey said, looking utterly puzzled.
"Once my strength improves, you'll know what I'm doing," Vegeta said with a smile.
"Strength improves? Your strength is already incredible, especially with this transformation you're using now... it's reached 10 to the power of 46, right? Purely based on combat power, you're already comparable to me," Rumsey stated.
"I know I'm still far from enough," Vegeta sighed.
"You're quite self-aware, kid," Rumsey smiled. "Gods have their own ways of fighting. I advise you not to provoke other Gods of Destruction just yet, or I won't be able to cover for you. Even though you're immortal, Gods of Destruction have plenty of ways to deal with you."
"I know," Vegeta nodded. "Until I've completely fused the power of destruction and the power of an angel, I've decided to keep a low profile."
"Fusion?" Rumsey blinked. "What did you say? Fuse what?"
"The fusion of destruction and angel energy," Vegeta said.
"Are you joking? I've told you many times, these are two different forms of energy. Fusing them carries a significant risk," Rumsey exclaimed. "If you mess around again, you might blow yourself up."
"I'm immortal, I can't die," Vegeta said.
Rumsey: "..."
*I forgot about that...*
*I was the one who made you immortal.*
*There's no point talking to him.*
"I'll try it now," Vegeta said, holding a ball of angel energy in his left hand and a ball of destruction energy in his right.
"Stop it right now! Do you want to destroy our universe?" Rumsey shouted.
"Uh... you mean mixing these two energies together could destroy the universe?" Vegeta blinked.
"There's a probability of that..." Whis let out a helpless sigh from ahead.
*What kind of karma is this?*
"If you destroy our universe, I'm done with you," Rumsey said with a dark expression.
"Before, Mr. Vegeta only mixed a tiny bit of angel energy into the destruction energy; that wouldn't cause any trouble. But if angel energy and destruction energy were fused in equal proportions, it could indeed give birth to world-ending destructive power... it's best not to try such a thing lightly," Whis added again.
"Mm-hmm, let's take it to another universe to try later. We won't do it in ours," Vegeta said, immediately retracting the angel and destruction energy into his body.
"Good kid, you have some conscience," Rumsey breathed a sigh of relief.
"How about... we condense a little of each to try?" Vegeta said, forming a brilliant point of light in his left hand and a purplish-red point of light in his right.
A tiny bit of destruction energy and a tiny bit of angel energy.
"Don't even try a tiny bit!" Rumsey shouted angrily.
"It's just a tiny bit, what's there to worry about?" Vegeta said, unfazed. He then looked closely at the angel energy. "Huh? I notice that since transforming into this form, my angel energy looks clearer than before."
"It is indeed much clearer than before, indicating that the concentration of your angel energy has reached an extraordinary level," Whis turned his head to look. "If the angel energy of a true angel is 100%, yours can reach about 70%."
"What was the concentration of my angel energy before?" Vegeta asked curiously.
"It was around 40%," Whis replied.
"What about the concentration of a trainee angel's angel energy?" Vegeta asked again.
"Trainee angel?" Whis blinked.
"I sensed a hidden angel in the Seventh Universe before. Perhaps it was a trainee angel who was gaining experience in the Galactic Patrol of the Seventh Universe," Vegeta replied.
"Oh my, oh my, you know quite a lot. You can even sense trainee angels," Whis said, a little surprised.
"There's nothing to be surprised about," Vegeta smiled slightly.
"A trainee angel's angel energy concentration can reach over 85%," Whis replied.
"So, my angel energy concentration is almost close to that of a trainee angel," Vegeta said with a smile.
"You're still 15% short," Whis said.
"So, don't force yourself to fuse these two energies together... your angel energy used to be more turbid, with insufficient concentration," Rumsey said. "Now that your angel energy concentration has increased, if you were to fuse them again... hey, kid, I'm talking to you, are you just ignoring me?"
"Oh dear... this is bad..." Whis also noticed Vegeta's small movements.
Vegeta's index finger on his left hand and his index finger on his right hand, holding different energies, were colliding.
Vegeta was attempting to fuse the energy of these two light points.
"Run, Whis!" Rumsey shouted.
"Shh!"
Whis easily broke free from Vegeta's embrace and vanished in an instant.
Rumsey: "..."
*Why did he run off on his own?*
*Wait for me.*
Rumsey also prepared to flee.
Before, Vegeta's angel energy concentration wasn't high enough, so Rumsey had turned a blind eye.
But now, Vegeta's angel energy concentration had reached over 70%.
That was a little terrifying.
