Chapter 168 The Strange Death Galaxy

Kusu and Rumssi nodded.

The two parties split up.

Vegeta soon entered a galaxy and found a Super Dragon Ball within it.

Just as Vegeta was about to take the Super Dragon Ball, he suddenly realized that the galaxy was a bit strange.

How could such a vast galaxy be devoid of life?

Vegeta, being a half-disciple of the Kais, had some basic understanding of cosmic galaxies.

Vegeta could tell that this galaxy did not appear to have just been born.

It was normal for newly formed galaxies to be without life.

Newly formed galaxies were basically granted life by the Kais.

The age of this galaxy was comparable to the galaxy where Earth was located, so how could all its planets have become dead stars?

Out of curiosity, Vegeta investigated a planet.

Vegeta discovered that the humans, animals, and various other living beings on this planet had all been brutally slaughtered.

Who had acted with such ruthlessness?

There wasn't a single survivor, human or animal, on the planet.

Let alone animals, even the plants had been completely destroyed.

Vegeta shook his head and went to look at another planet that had once been inhabited.

It was also a dead star.

The way the people and creatures there died was similar to the previous planet.

Vegeta examined two or three more planets, and the situation was essentially the same.

It was clearly man-made.

It seemed a terrifying individual had appeared in this galaxy, eliminating all life within it.

Absolutely formidable!

This was a ruthless person.

Was it Hit who did this?

It didn't feel like him.

Regardless, this was not the Tenth or Seventh Universe, it had nothing to do with me, I was just here to watch the show.

After understanding the situation, Vegeta did not investigate further and left the galaxy with the Super Dragon Ball.

Vegeta placed the Super Dragon Ball at the edge of the universe.

The reason for placing it at the edge of the universe was to better rendezvous with Kusu and the others.

Then, transporting these four Dragon Balls to the Seventh Universe would allow them to summon the Super Shenron.

Vegeta then went to search for the second Dragon Ball.

The second Dragon Ball was not within a galaxy but was located in independent cosmic space.

Vegeta easily placed the second Dragon Ball together with the first one.

The third Dragon Ball was in another galaxy.

The universe of the Dragon Ball world was composed of numerous galaxies.

Galaxies were equivalent to star systems, to vast constellations.

For instance, the galaxy where Earth was located was also a very large star system.

With the current technological level of Earthlings, they had not even fully explored their own galaxy.

Vegeta soon appeared in this galaxy and successfully found the third Dragon Ball.

Immediately after, Vegeta strangely discovered that this galaxy had also become a dead star system.

Similarly, life had been artificially eliminated.

The method of destruction in the two star systems was basically the same.

Vegeta did not meddle and quickly left with the Dragon Ball.

As Vegeta gathered the third Dragon Ball with the previous two, Kusu and Rumssi also arrived with the last Dragon Ball.

All four Dragon Balls of the Sixth Universe had been collected.

"I didn't expect it to be so smooth," Rumssi chuckled.

"Collecting Dragon Balls with Instant Transmission is truly too easy," Vegeta exclaimed.

"By the way, did you discover anything on your end?" Rumssi looked at Vegeta.

"Are you referring to the matter of the galaxies?" Vegeta paused and asked.

"You noticed it too?" Rumssi was astonished.

"The two galaxies where I collected Dragon Balls have both become dead star systems, with no life whatsoever remaining in the entire star system," Vegeta sighed. "I wonder who has such a grand undertaking."

"It was the same on my end. Later, while flying back, I discovered that not only the galaxy I was in, but many neighboring galaxies were also like this, having all become dead star systems," Rumssi nodded, wiggling his long nose.

"Oh my, a total of 21 galaxies have become dead star systems," Kusu said with a sigh, checking through the scepter in his hand.

"What? That many!" Rumssi was stunned. "Does Champa know about this?"

"Isn't he working in the Second Universe? I doubt he knows," Vegeta shook his head.

"What are we going to do? Should we tell him? If this continues, the life in the entire universe might disappear," Rumssi lamented. "When that time truly comes, the Sixth Universe might cease to have a reason to exist."

Vegeta: "..."

So that's how it is!

It seems I need to intervene!

"Kusu, can you find out who did this?" Rumssi inquired. "Let's investigate first. If such a person were to come to our Tenth Universe, we'd at least have some defense."

"Understood, Lord Rumssi, I will check who is responsible," Kusu immediately looked at the crystal ball on the scepter and began analyzing the perpetrator behind the dead stars.

As he analyzed, Kusu froze.

"It... it's Zamasu," Kusu spoke Zamasu's name.

"Zamasu? What are you talking about? Didn't I kill Zamasu? When did he get revived?" Rumssi was bewildered.

"Champa probably had my consort revive him so he could learn about our Tenth Universe from Zamasu," Vegeta speculated.

"That makes some sense," Rumssi nodded and then immediately said to Kusu, "Kusu, check immediately what that Zamasu fellow is up to!"

Kusu nodded slightly and once again held the scepter to check Zamasu's exact location.

After this check, Kusu gently shook his head.

"It seems he's already dead," Kusu sighed.

"Dead? How did he die?" Rumssi inquired.

"Crack!"

The scepter in Kusu's hand flickered with light and projected an image.

The image showed Zamasu.

"This happened seven months ago," Kusu explained.

"So he's been dead for seven months?" Rumssi understood.

Vegeta looked at the image.

It was a reddish-yellow planet.

On the surface of this planet, Zamasu was slaughtering the planet's inhabitants.

Suddenly, a person wearing a coat descended from the sky and pierced Zamasu's back with a single finger.

"Thwack!"

The person's finger easily penetrated Zamasu's body, emerging from his chest.

"This person looks somewhat familiar," Rumssi mused, stroking his elephantine nose.

"It's Hit," Vegeta replied.

"Right... Hit! The assassin from the Sixth Universe?" Rumssi nodded, finally remembering.

"You... you... I... I..." Zamasu trembled violently.

"I heard you destroyed many galaxies. As a universe-class assassin, I only kill those who commit evil. I never expected you, a god, to spare even ordinary people!" Hit said coldly.
